∙ It is important that you read, fully un-
derstand, and observe the following safety precautions and warnings. Read these instructions periodically. Careless or improper use of your Venta may cause serious or even fa­tal injury. Keep this user manual with your appliance. Be sure anyone using your Venta understands the informati­on contained in this manual.
∙ Children should not be allowed to
operate the appliance.
Always switch the motor o and un-
plug the power cord from the AC
outlet before relling it with water or
Venta Cleaner, or before moving, or handling the unit.
∙ Plug into 120 V AC outlet only. Do not
use your Venta if the power cord or plug is damaged. Unplug a damaged power cord immediately from the AC outlet and let it replace only by Ven­ta. Do not replace a damaged power cord by yourself.
∙ Do not attempt any repair work. Main-
tenance or servicing the appliance, other than described in this user ma­nual, should only be done by Venta.
Any modication to your appliance is
extremely dangerous and voids your warranty.
∙ Do not insert any objects into the air
intake of the unit. It may damage the fan blades or cause injuries. After the motor is switched o, the fan continu­es to rotate for a short period of time.
∙ Do not use or store this product whe-
re it can fall or be pulled into a bath tub, sink, water, or other liquid. Do not reach for a unit that has fallen into wa­ter or other liquid. Do not immerse in
water or other liquid, even when the unit is unplugged at that time. Mois­ture can cause an electric shock ha­zard when the unit is again plugged
into the AC outlet. Wipe moisture o
the unit with a dry cloth. Do not hand­le the power cord or the unit with wet
hands. Never overll the appliance. ∙ Never transport or overbalance the
appliance with a lled water basin.
∙ Use only genuine Venta fragrances. ∙ Do not add fragrance oil to the water.
This may impair the function of the
Hygiene Disc. ∙ Only use original Venta additives.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
FOR INSTALLATION / WARNING
∙ Plug the power cord into a wall socket
with the power specications of the
product or higher and use the socket for this appliance only. In addition, do not use an extension cord.
Sharing a wall socket with other appli­ances using a multi outlet power strip or extending the power cord may re-
sult in electric shock or re.
Do not use an electric transformer. It
may result in electric shock or re.
If the voltage/frequency/rated current
condition is dierent, it may cause electric shock or re.
FOR INSTALLATION / WARNING
∙ Do not install this appliance near a
heater, inammable material. Do not
install this appliance in a humid, oily or dusty location, in a location expo­sed to direct sunlight and water (rain drops). Do not install this appliance in a location where gas may leak.

FOR INSTALLATION / CAUTION
∙ The appliance should be installed in
a place where the power cord of the product can be easily pulled out.

shock or re due to electric leakage.
∙ Install your appliance on a level and
hard oor that can support its weight.
Failure to do so may result in abnor­mal vibrations, noise, or problems with the product.
∙ There should be over 6 in. space
around the appliance.
If space for air intake is not enough,
humidication and purication capaci­ty may decrease.
If the appliance is too near wall side, the wall paper may get damaged.
∙ When installing the product, make
sure that no heavy objects are on the power cord.

FOR POWER CORD / WARNING
∙ Unplug the product, and then remove
foreign substances (dust, moisture, etc.) of the power plug terminal or po­wer plug connection part with a dry cloth on a regular basis.
Otherwise, electric shock or re may
occur.
∙ When the product, power plug or po-
wer cord is damaged, contact your nearest service center.
∙ Plug the power plug into the wall
socket rmly. Do not use a damaged
power plug, damaged power cord or loose wall socket.
Failure to do so may result in electric
shock or re.
∙ When unplugging the product, do not
pull the power cord. Grip the power plug, and then pull the power plug.
Otherwise, electric shock or re may
occur.
∙ Do not pull or excessively bend the
power cord. Do not twist or tie the power cord.
∙ Do not hook the power line over a me-
tal object, place a heavy object on the power cord, insert the power line bet­ween objects, or push the power cord into the space behind the appliance.

down while the product is connected to the wall outlet.

OVERVIEW
CHECK BEFORE USE
INSTALLATION STATUS
Ensure that the following installation requirements have been satised.
The product should be installed on an even, level oor. ∙ There should be no objects blocking the air intake and outlet. The installation site should be dry and there should be no inammable subs-
tances around it.
∙ The product should be installed at least 2 in. (6 in. is recommended) from
the wall.
Before using the product for the rst time and when replacing the integrated
VENTAcel lter and Hygiene Disc, make sure to remove the plastic packaging of the lter and the new Hygiene Disc.
POWER CORD AND POWER OUTLET
∙ Be sure to use a dedicated 120 V electrical outlet. (When the power is applied,
the product enters the standby state.)
∙ Unplug the power cord if it will not be used for a long period of time.

PUTTING INTO OPERATION
01 Unpack the appliance and set it up. Open the fragrance/lter compartment
7, remove the pre-lter 9, remove and unpack the VENTAcel lter 10.
02 Re-insert the VENTAcel lter 10 and pre-lter 9.
03 Inserting the fragrance: Twist open the fragrance cap and insert it
into the fragrance holder 8. Insert up to three fragrances into the fragrance holder 8.
04 Close the fragrance/lter compartment 7.
05 Open the evaporator compartment 3 and remove the water tank 4.
06 Open the water tank 4 and ll up to the MAX marker with water.
07 Close the water tank 4 securely.
08 Insert the water tank 4 into the water basin 6 and close the evaporator
compartment 3.
09 The display 1 can be adjusted to three positions.
10 The power cable can be adjusted to the desired length by winding it up in
the cable compartment 11.
Move the appliance with the transportation wheels 14 to the desired place. Lift the appliance slightly on the right sight.
Attention!
Make sure that the appliance is switched o and the power cord is
disconnected.
Attention! The coupling of the mains cable must be plugged rmly into the device!
Please remove the protective foil for battery and remote control of the remote control.
Connect the power plug and switch on the
appliance at the on/o switch 2 or with the
remote control 13.
ATTENTION! It may take about a minute for the
device to start and for the “Fill Tank” indicator in red or yellow to be extinguished. A gurgling sound may be heard, but this does not represent a quality defect.

6 Auto OFF Appliance operates with preset fan stage 1 – 5.
ON The appliance automatically regulates the fan stages
depending on the air quality and air humidity in the room.
7 Sleep mode OFF/ON Appliance reduces the fan stage to 1 and dims the
display. The fan power can be manually changed if desired. The air quality is not monitored.
8 Child lock OFF/ON
Hold for 3 sec. to activate/deactivate the key lock.
9 Cleaning Cleaning program
The cleaning process requires (1) 8.5 . oz bottle of Venta
Cleaner. Please follow the instructions on the display. Duration approx. 4 h.
10 Notes Display and conrmation of information messages.
11 WiFi Display and setup of WiFi connection.

it with the ENTER key. If your password contains special characters that are not
represented on the keyboard, you can generate your entire password as a HEX
code at the following website: www.venta-usa.com
Now enter your generated HEX code into the “PSK” eld (HEX input mode) and conrm it with the ENTER key. Under “Access”, select the internet access privile-
ges you desire.

To establish a WiFi connection, conrm with the CONNECT button.

Actuating the CLOSE button calls up the device’s control panel.
WiFi can be enabled or disabled by touching the WiFi display 11 on the appli­ance. If WiFi is disabled, the appliance will not connect to the Venta app.

The device functions can be expanded and controlled with the Venta app. The Venta app is available for smartphones and tablets. You can download the Venta app at the following website: www.venta-usa.com or

emitted. Now conrm connection establishment to your smartphone/tablet on
