5.
Connection
• Connect the HDMI cables from the HD sources (PS3, DVD player) to the input ports (6) of
the HDMI Switcher.
• Connect the HDMI cable from your HD display (monitor or projector) to the output port (5)
of the HDMI Switcher
• Plug the 5VDC power supply connector in the HDMI Switcher DC input (4) and plug the
adaptor in the mains.
• [only for VASH2] The (red) power indication LED (2) on the front panel will flash. This
means that the HDMI switch is searching for inputs. Once inputs are detected, the LED (2)
will turn steady on.
• The latest selected input port is memorized and will be detected and connected first at next
start-up.
• The selected input port is indicated with a (green) LED (3) on the front panel.

Operation
Auto detection operation mode (only for VASH2)
•
At start-up, the HDMS switcher will sequentially scan all inputs (loop starting at 1) until a
valid input is detected.
•
Simply turn on the preferred HDMI device and the switcher will find it.
Manual operation mode
•
To turn the switcher on, press the on/off & select switch (1).
•
Use the on/off & select switch (1) on the front panel to cycle through the channels until the
preferred HDMI device is found.
•
To turn the switcher off, press and hold the on/off & select switch (1) for 3 seconds.
IR remote operation mode
•
Use the IR remote to power the HDMI switcher on or off.
•
Use the numbered buttons on the remote control to toggle between inputs, or use the
forward and back button.
Note:
when a HDMI device is powered on, the switcher will automatically select the input of
that device (only VASH2).

Aansluiting
• Koppel de HDMI™-kabels van de spelconsole, dvd-speler, enz. aan de ingangen (6) van de
HDMI™-switcher.
• Koppel de HDMI™-kabel van de display aan de uitgang (5) van de HDMI™-switcher
• Koppel de voedingplug aan de DC-ingang (4) van de HDMI™-switcher en koppel de
voedingadapter aan het lichtnet.
• [enkel VASH2] De rode led (2) op het frontpaneel knippert om aan te duiden dat de
HDMI™-switcher naar ingangen scant. De led (2) brandt continu eens de HDMI™-switcher
ingangen heeft herkend.
• De laatst geselecteerde ingang wordt opgeslagen en wordt herkend bij de eerstvolgende
inschakeling.
• De geselecteerde ingang wordt aangeduid met een (groene) led (3) op het frontpaneel.
6.
Gebruik
Automatische bediening (enkel VASH2)
•
Na inschakeling scant de HDMI™-switcher achtereenvolgens alle ingangen (de lus start op 1)
tot hij een geldige ingang herkent.
•
Schakel het gewenste gekoppelde toestel in.
Handmatige bediening
•
Schakel de HDMI™-switcher in door de aan-uitschakelaar (1) in te drukken.
•
Verloop de beschikbare kanalen met de SELECT-toets (1) op het frontpaneel tot u het
gewenste toestel hebt gevonden.
•
Schakel de HDMI™-switcher uit door de aan-uitschakelaar (1) gedurende 3 seconden
ingedrukt te houden.

Raccordement
• Raccorder les câbles HDMI™ provenant de la console de jeu, du lecteur DVD, etc. aux
entrées (6) du commutateur HDMI™.
• Raccorder le câble HDMI™ du moniteur HD à la sortie (5) du commutateur HDMI™.
• Insérer la fiche d’alimentation dans la prise d’entrée CC (4) et raccorder l’adaptateur secteur
au réseau électrique.
• [VASH2 uniquement] La DEL rouge (2) sur le panneau frontal clignote indiquant que le
commutateur HDMI™ est en mode de recherche. Une fois l’entrée reconnu, la DEL (2)
s’allume en continu.
• L’entrée sélectionné en dernier est mémorisée et reconnue après l’allumage du
commutateur.
• L’entrée sélectionnée est indiquée par une DEL (verte) (3) sur le panneau frontal.
6.
Emploi
Détection automatique (VASH2 uniquement)
•
Après l’allumage, le commutateur HDMI™ effectue un balayage séquentiel des entrées
jusqu’à ce qu’il reconnaisse une entrée activée.
•
Allumer votre appareil raccordé au commutateur.
Mode manuel
•
Allumer le commutateur HDMI™ à l’aide de l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (1).
•
Balayer les canaux disponibles à l’aide de la touche SELECT (1) sur le panneau frontal
jusqu’à ce que le commutateur HDMI™ reconnaisse une entrée activée.
•
Éteindre le commutateur HDMI™ en maintenant enfoncé l’interrupteur marche/arrêt pendant
3 secondes.
Actionnement depuis la télécommande IR
•
Allumer/éteindre le commutateur HDMI™ à l’aide de la télécommande.
•
Sélectionner l’entrée à l’aide des touches / .

Conexión
• Conecte los cables HDMI™ de la consola de juegos, el lector DVD, etc. a las entradas (6) del

Uso

que reconozca una entrada activada.

Active el aparato conectado al conmutador.
Modo manual
•
Active el conmutador HDMI™ con el interruptor ON/OFF (1).
•
Explore los canales disponibles con la tecla SELECT (1) del panel frontal hasta que el
conmutador HDMI™ reconozca una entrada activada.
•
Desactive el conmutador HDMI™ al mantener pulsado el interruptor ON/OFF durante 3
segundos.
Activación con el mando a distancia IR
•
Active/desactive el conmutador HDMI™ con el mando a distancia.
•
Seleccione la entrada con las teclas / .
Nota: El conmutador HDMI™ selecciona automáticamente la entrada de un aparato activado

Sicherheitshinweise
Halten Sie Kinder und Unbefugte vom Gerät fern.
NUR FÜR DIE ANWENDUNG IM INNENBEREICH. Schützen Sie das Gerät vor
Regen und Feuchte. Setzen Sie es keiner Flüssigkeit wie z.B. Tropf- oder
Spritzwasser, aus. Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit befüllten Gegenstände auf
das Gerät.

Anschluss
• Verbinden Sie die HDMI™-Kabel der Spielkonsole, des DVD-Spielers, usw. mit den
Eingängen (6) des HDMI™-Umschalters.
• Verbinden Sie das HDMI™-Kabel des Displays mit dem Ausgang (5) des HDMI™-
Umschalters
• Verbinden Sie den Stromversorgungsstecker mit dem DC-Eingang (4) des HDMI™-
Umschalters und verbinden Sie das Netzteil mit dem Netz.
• [nur VASH2] Die rote LED (2) der Frontplatte blinkt, um anzuzeigen, dass der HDMI™-
Switcher Eingänge sucht. Die LED (2) brennt ständig wenn der HDMI™-Switcher Eingänge
erkennt hat.
• Der zuletzt gewählte Eingang wird gespeichert und wird bei der nächsten Einschaltung
erkennt.
• Der gewählte Eingang wird mit einer (grünen) LED (3) auf der Frontplatte angezeigt.
6.
Anwendung
Automatische Bedienung (nur VASH2)
•
Nach Einschaltung scannt der HDMI™-Switcher alle Eingänge nacheinander (die Schleife
startet auf 1) bis er einen gültigen Eingang erkennt.
•
Schalten Sie das gewünschte verbundene Gerät ein.
Manuelle Bedienung
•
Schalten Sie den HDMI™-Switcher ein, indem Sie den EIN/AUS-Schalter (1) ein.
•
Scannen Sie die zur Verfügung stehenden Kanäle mit der SELECT-Taste (1) der Frontplatte
bis Sie das gewünschte Gerät gefunden haben.
•
Schalten Sie den HDMI™-Switcher aus, indem Sie den EIN/AUS-Schalter (1) 3 Sekunden
gedrückt halten.
