9.1.7 Heating mode
• Generally, the 4-way valve is open in heating mode, but it is closed in defrosting mode. 4-way valve must delay 2 minutes compared with compressor if the compressor changed into non-heating mode or turned off. 4-way valve doesn’t delay in dehumidifying mode.
• Generally, the outdoor fan is turned off with the onoff action of compressor in heating mode, except for the defrosting mode or the end of defrost
.
Action conditions of compressor under heating mode: compressor must run for 7 minutes after starting and then judge temperature. Meanwhile other protections are still valid.

Note!
When Tp is lower than 30ºC, the air door will turn on upward to the position of anti-cold wind at 60°
B. During the process that the temperature of indoor coil increases from 25 ºC to 30 ºC, the slight breeze is blown from the indoor fan.
A. During the process that the temperature of indoor coil reduces from 30 ºC to 25 ºC, the low wind is blown from the indoor fan.
When Tp is no lower than 30 ºC, the indoor fan will blow out low wind and exit from anti-cold wind state and the air door will return to the original working condition before entering anti-cold wind state.
When Tp is lower than 25
ºC, the indoor fan is
shut down; When Tp is in the range of 25
ºC~30ºC, the indoor fan exits from anti-cold wind state and the air door still stops at the position of anti-cold wind at 60°; When Tp is no lower than 30, the air door will return to the original working condition before entering anti-cold wind state.
When the compressor is shut down, the air door will turn on upward to the position of anti-cold wind at 60°.
• In heating mode, the operating curve of the indoor fan is as the following when the automatic wind is set (Note: The second condition is prior to the third condition.)
5. Four-way valve working condition:
The four-way valve keeps running in the cooling
mode.
6. The working condition of outdoor air door:
As for the position of air door, there are the
following definitions:
The position of the air door in full opening is 0°; The angle from full opening and full closing position is 190°.

A sound “hua” will be heard when the main control board is powered on, which means that the power has been provided.
How to deal with the signal from the remote controller:
1. The main control board gives a response at once when receiving the signal from the infrared remote controller;
2. After the control board receives the signal from the infrared remote controller, the sound of “hua” will be heard at once.
9.2.4 Common Protection functions
Compressor protection function:
1. The compressor is allowed to be started up immediately when power on for the first time.
2. There should be at least three minutes interval when the compressor is restarted after stop.
3. There should be three minutes for stopping protection when changing modes.
4. After starting, the compressor should run for three minutes at least except changing mode and overheating protection in heating mode as well as shutting down at first, and then decides whether shut down the compressor according to the actual situation.
5. In cooling mode, the system will be operated with failure if both of the room temperature sensor and the indoor coil temperature sensor go wrong, the faults codes aren’t indicated, the room temperature is 25 ºC and the indoor coil temperature is 15 ºC, which are set by the controller. The working condition of the compressor at the moment is: it runs for 20 minutes firstly and then stops for 5minutes and goes round and round like this.
1) If the temperature sensor of the indoor coil goes wrong, the compressor keeps running normally;
9 PCB Explanation
Split Type Installation Manual 45EN
2) If the room temperature sensor goes wrong, the system still has the anti-frosting protection and antifreezing protection function.
6. In heating mode, if the temperature sensor of the indoor coil goes wrong, after delaying for 3 minutes the fault code will be indicated and the unit will be turned off; The system will be operated with failure if the room temperature sensor of the goes wrong, the corresponding fault code has not been indicated and the default room temperature is 25 ºC in automatic wind operation. The working condition of the compressor at the moment is: it runs for 20 minutes firstly and then stops for 5minutes and goes round and round like this. The system still has the overloading protection and overheating protection functions.
7. In dehumidifying mode and ventilating mode, when both of the room temperature sensor and indoor coil temperature sensor work wrong and the corresponding fault code is out of display, the system still runs in the normal way.
• If the room temperature sensor goes wrong, during dehumidifying operation, the temperature should be kept no lower than 23
• If the temperature sensor of the indoor coil goes wrong, the operating mode is depended on the room temperature in the dehumidifying mode.
8. If the outdoor temperature goes wrong, the system works well as usual and doesn’t display the fault code no matter in which mode it is. In heating mode, however, the dehumidifying operation will be switched to the intelligent dehumidifying mode.
PG motor protection
When PG motor is running, if the feedback signal of PG motor has not been inspected for 60 seconds, it will begin to run with failure and won’t display any fault code; if the rotating velocity of PG motor keeps lower than 200rpm for 30 seconds, that means PG motor works wrong and the unit will be shut down and the system will display the corresponding fault code. During the failure operation, PG motor continues the operation mode if the feedback signal of PG motor is right. Until the system is restarted up, can PG motor run as well as usual.
Display screen closed function
1. When the air conditioner is turned on, the system will enter display screen closed mode by pressing “LAMP” key on the remote controller and all displays on the indoor display lamp board will be turned off; Press the key again, the system will exit from the mode and
