Read and understand this op erator' s manual and all lab els on the W et/Dry Vacuum cleaner b efore op erating. Safety is a comb ination of common sense, stay ing alert, and knowing how y our v acuum works. U se this W et/Dry Vac only as describ ed in this manual. To reduce the risk of p ersonal inj ury or damage to yo ur W et/Dry Vac, use only Vacmaster
® recommended accessories.
W h e n u s i n g a n e l e c t r i c a l a p p l i a n c e , b a s i c p r e c a u t i o n s s h o u l d a l w a y s b e f o l l o w e d i n c l u d i n g t h e f o l l o w i n g :
• Do not run va c unattended.
• Do not vacuum, or use this Wet/Dry Vac near ammable liquids, gases, or explosive vapors
like gasoline or other fuels, lighter uids, cleaners, oil-based paints, natural gas, hydrogen, or
exp losive dusts like coal dust, magnesium dust, grain dust, or gun p owder. Sp arks inside the
motor can ignite ammable vapors or dust.
• Do not va cuum anyt hing that is b urning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• K eep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not exp ose to rain. Store indoors.
• Do not unp lug b y p ulling on cord. To unp lug, grasp the p lug, not the cord.
• Do not use with damaged cord, p lug, or other p arts.
• I f ap p liance is not working as it should, has b een drop p ed, damaged, left outdoors, or drop p ed
into water, return it to a servi ce center.
• Do not p ull or carry b y cord, use cord as handle, close a door on cord, or p ull cord around sharp
edges or corners.
• Do not run W et/Dry Vac ove r cord.
• Do not handle p lug or the W et/Dry Vac with wet hands.
• To reduce the risk of health haza rds from va p ors or dusts, do not va cuum toxi c materials.
• Do not use or store near haza rdous materials.
• Do not use this Wet/Dry Vac with a torn lter or without the lter installed except when
va cuuming liq uids as describ ed in the op eration section of this manual.
• Do not allow to b e used as a toy . Close attention is necessary when used b y or near children.
• To reduce the risk of inj ury from accidental starting, unp lug p ower cord b efore changing or
cleaning lter.
• Do not leave W et/Dry Vac unattended when p lugged in. U np lug from outlet when not in use and
b efore servi cing.
• Turn off W et/Dry Vac b efore unp lugging.
• Do not p ut any ob j ect into ve ntilation op enings. Do not va cuum with any ve ntilation op enings
blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, or anything that may reduce air ow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• To reduce the risk of falls, use ext ra care when cleaning on stairs.

• U se only as describ ed in this manual. U se only manufacturer’ s recommended attachments.

DOUBLE INSULATION INSTRUCTIONS
EXTENSION CORDS
This W et/Dry Vac is doub le- insulated, eliminating the need for a sep arate grounding syst em. U se only identical rep lacements p arts. Read the instructions for Servi cing Doub le- I nsulated W et/Dry Vacs b efore servi cing. U se this W et/Dry Vac as describ ed in this manual. Ob serve the following warnings that ap p ear on the motor housing of yo ur W et/Dry Vac.
W hen using an ext ension cord with yo ur W et/Dry Vac refer to the following tab le to determine the req uired A . W . G . wire size . Before using the cleaner make sure the p ower cord and ext ension cord are in good working condition. M ake rep airs or rep lacements b efore using the va cuum cleaner. Only use ext ension cords that are rated for outdoor use.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unp lug b efore cleaning or servi cing.
• DO NOT use without lters in place.

Do not vacuum drywall dust, replace soot, or ash with a standard Wet/Dry lter. This is a very ne dust which will not be captured by the lter and may cause damage to the motor. When vacuuming ne dust, use a ne dust lter (included). To purchase additional ne dust lters, call
