With a voltage of 110/230V you can suffer a dangerous electric shock
when touching the wires!

powerful device. If you follow the instructions given in this manual, we can assure you that you will!
enjoy this device for many years.

Unpack your US BLASTER amplifier

Please make sure that there are no obvious transport damages. Should you notice any damages on the
AC connection cable or on the casing, do not take the device into operation and immediately consult
your local dealer.

SAFETYINSTRUCTIONS

This device has left our premises in absolutely perfect condition. In order to maintain this condition and
to ensure a safe operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to follow the safety instructions and
warning notes written in this user manual.

Important:

Damages caused by the disregard of this user manual are not subject to warranty. The dealer will! Not
accept liability for any resulting defects or problems.

Keep away from rain and moisture!

Never expose the device to aggressive chemicals, detergents, etc!

If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not
switch it on immediately. The arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device
switched off until it has reached room temperature. Make sure that the available voltage is not higher
than stated on the device.

The device and al! connections have to be lightning protected.

Only connect the device when the power switch is off.

Never connect the inputs or outputs to any power source (batteries, etc.

Never connect output to output.

Never open the housing during operation!

If the clipping LED on the front panel lights up, the output signal is distorted. Adjust the Gain control
accordingly.

There are no serviceable parts inside the device. Therefore, never open the housing.

Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by authorized dealers.

OPERATING DETERMINATIONS

This device was designed for indoor use only.

Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.

You can install the device at any desired place. Please make sure that the device is not exposed to
extreme heat, moisture or dust. There should not be any cables laying around. You endanger your own
and the safety of others!

Operate the device only after having familiarized with its functions. Do not allowing operation by persons
who do not know the device enough. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation!

Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons!

DESCRIPTION

This US BLASTER amplifier is designed for professional application. The inputs and outputs are located
on the rear panel, the gain controls on the front panel.

This US BLASTER amplifier is sustained short-circuit proof, protected against over temperature and fea­tures turn-on delay and load-independent clipping LED's.

This US BLASTER amplifier is equipped with 6.35mm, and Cinch input jacks and Screw/clamp/speakon
output jacks.

RACK MOUNTING

The amplifier is built for 19" racks/483mm. You can fix the amplifier with four screws M6 in the rack.
When mounting the amplifier into a rack, please make sure that there is a proper air circulation. Steady
overheating will damage your device. The amplifier's total power consumption consists of the output
power passed on to the speakers and the power loss which has to be passed on to the air in the form of
heat. Please make sure that there is enough space around the device so that the heated air can be
passed on. The rack should be provided with a cooling fan. Your amplifier additionally features built-in
cooling fans that supply the necessary ventilation. Since the heated air is passed on through the
device's rear panel, the back of the rack should be left open during operation. Be careful when mounting

the amplifier into the rack. Put the heaviest devices into the lower part of the rack. Be aware that fas­tening the amplifier with four screws on the front panel is not enough. In order to ensure safety, addi­tional fastening by using ground and is de bars is necessary. If racks are to be transported or used for
mobile use, additionally fasten the devices by connecting the rear brackets with the side or ground bars
of the rack. In this way, the amplifier cannot be pushed backwards. The front panel alone is not designed
to absorb acceleration forces occurring during transportation.

INPUTS

A good cable run improves the sound quality remarkably. Input cables should be short and direct, since
high frequencies will be mostly be absorbed if the cables are unnecessarily long. Besides that a longer
cable may lead to humming and noise trouble. If long cable runs are unavoidable, you should use bal­anced cables. The inputs of your US BLASTER amplifier are equipped with 6.35mm and XLR jacks.

OUTPUTS

The high damping factor of your amplifier supplies a clear sound reproduction. Unnecessarily long and
thin cables will influence the damping factor and thus the low frequencies in a negative way. In order to
safeguard good sound quality, the damping factor should lay around 50. The longer a cable has to be,
the thicker it should be. The outputs of your US BLASTER amplifier are equipped with
Screw/clamp/speakon jacks.

CONNECTION TO THE MAINS

Connect the US BLASTER amplifier only after having made sure that the right voltage (110/230V) is sup­plied and that the ground lead is earthed. This device falls under protection class I. Do not detach the
ground lead from the housing!

STEREO OPERATION

Connect the input signal to the input jacks/XLR on the rear panel. Connect your speakers to the
Screw/clamp/speakon jacks Output Channel ch1 and ch2.

Caution: The impedance of the speakers must be between 4 and 16 Ohm.

Caution: Before switching on your amplifier, please refer to the explanations under Operation. Adjust the
level of each channel with Gain control CH1 and CH2 on the front panel. Caution: Increase the level of
each channel only so far that the Clip LED lights up shortly. Thus, you avoid that the output signal is dis­torted and your speakers are damaged.

OPERATION

After having connected your amplifier to the mains, turn both gain controls counter-clockwise to null­position. The last device to be switched on is the amplifier. The "power on" LED lights up now. If it does
not, check if the amplifier is connected to the mains correctly. After the turn-on delay the speakers are
activated. After having set the volume controls of the pre-amplifier in null-position, turn the gain controls
of your amplifier to mid-position. You must not hear any loud humming. If there is humming neverthe­less, check the connecting cables between the pre-amplifier and the amplifier. Now adjust the volume
with the gain controls CH1 and CH2.

All important operating information of the amplifier are displayed on the front panel.

If you want to switch off the system, switch off the amplifier first and then the pre-amplifiers in order to
avoid acoustic shocks on the speakers.

The ventilation grille has to be cleaned regularly. Never use aggressive detergents - simply use a damp
cloth instead

Packen Sie Ihren US BLASTER Verstärker aus

Bitte überprüfen Sie, ob sichtbare Transportschäden vorhanden sind. Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in
Betrieb , wenn Sie Schäden am Netzkabel oder dem Gehäuse entdecken, und wenden Sie sich umge­hend an Ihren lokalen Händler.

Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Regen und Feuchtigkeit!

Setzen Sie das Gerät niemals aggressiven Chemikalien, Reinigungsmitteln oder ähnlichem aus!

Wenn das Gerät einer erheblichen Temperaturschwankung ausgesetzt war (z. B. nach dem Transport),
sollten Sie es nicht sofort einschalten. Das entstehende Kondenswasser kann Ihre Gerät beschädigen.
Lassen Sie das Gerät ausgeschaltet, bis es Raumtemperatur erreicht hat. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die ver­fügbare Spannung nicht höher ist, als die auf dem Gerät angegebene.

Das Gerät und alle Anschlüsse sind gegen Blitzschlag geschützt.

Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an, wenn der Netzschalter ausgeschaltet ist.
Schließen Sie die Eingänge oder Ausgänge nie an eine Stromquelle (Batterien, usw.) an.

Schließen Sie nie einen Ausgang an einen anderen Ausgang an.

Wenn die Clipping-LED am Bedienfeld leuchtet, ist das Ausgangssignal gestört. Stellen Sie den
Verstärkungsregler entsprechend ein.

Das Gerät enthält keine Teile, die vom Benutzer gewartet oder repariert werden können. Deshalb sollten
Sie das Gehäuse nie öffnen.

Wartungs- und Servicearbeiten dürfen nur von autorisierten Händlern durchgeführt werden.

BETRIEBSANWEISUNGEN

Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb in Innenräumen gedacht.

Schütteln Sie das Gerät nicht. Gehen Sie bei der Installation und der Bedienung des Geräts nicht mit
roher Kraft vor.

Sie können das Gerät an jedem gewünschten Ort installieren. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät
nicht extremer Hitze, Feuchtigkeit oder Staub ausgesetzt ist. Es sollten keine Kabel herumliegen. Sie
gefährden dadurch Ihre eigene Sicherheit und die von anderen!

Betreiben Sie das Gerät erst, nachdem Sie sich mit den Funktionen vertraut gemacht haben. Lassen Sie
das Gerät nicht von Personen bedienen, die nicht ausreichend damit vertraut sind. Die meisten Schäden
sind das Ergebnis von nicht fachgemäßer Bedienung!

Bitte beachten Sie, dass nicht autorisierte Modifizierungen des Geräts aus Sicherheitsgründen verboten
sind!

BESCHREIBUNG

Dieser US BLASTER Verstärker ist für die professionelle Anwendung gedacht. Die Eingänge und
Ausgänge befinden sich an der Rückseite, die Verstärkungsregler auf dem Bedienfeld an der Vorderseite.

Dieser US BLASTER Verstärker ist nachhaltig kurzschlusssicher, vor Überhitzung geschützt und verfügt
über eine Einschaltverzögerung und lastunabhängige Clipping-LEDs.

Dieser US BLASTER Verstärker ist mit 6,35 mm und Cinch-Eingangsbuchsen und Schraub-/Klemm­/Speakon-Ausgangsbuchsen ausgestattet.

RACKMONTAGE

Dieser Verstärker ist für 19" Racks (483 mm) konstruiert. Sie können den Verstärker mit vier M6­Schrauben im Rack befestigen. Wenn Sie den Verstärker in ein Rack einbauen, sollten Sie darauf achten,
dass die Luftzirkulation ausreichend ist. Ständige Überhitzung führt zu Schäden am Gerät. Der gesamte
