FEATURES

Large, 8-Digit Display – big, easy-to-read

LCD numbers. Four Function Memory – includes addition,

subtraction, recall, and clear. Dual Solar/Battery Power – built-in solar

panel extends battery life by powering the calculator in the light.

Automatic Power Off – saves battery power by turning off the calculator if it is left unused for about 7 min.

OPERATING THE CALCULATOR

ON/C•CE Key – Power ON / Clear LCD /

Clear Entry. Power OFF after a few minutes if no button is pressed. If a result is too big to show in the LCD, the calculator stops an d di sp la ys E . P re ss O N/ C• CE to continue.

+/– Key – Press to change the displayed number from positive (+) to negative (–) or from negative (–) to positive (+).MINUS – i s d i s p l a y e d w h e n t h e v a l u e i s negative.

MEMORY FUNCTIONS

[M+] Press to add the displayed number to 

 memory  MEMORY is displayed.

[M–] Press to subtract the currently  

 displayed number from memory.

[MR] Recall the number in memory. [MC] Clear the memory.

PERFORMING CALCULATIONS

Addition (+) Example: 6 + 7 = 13

Press [6] [+] [7] [=] 13

Subtraction (–) Example: 10 – 4 = 6

Press [1] [0] [–] [4] [=] 6

Multiplication (x) Example: 7 x 5 = 35

Press [7] [x] [5] [=] 35

Division (∏) Example: 14 ∏ 7 = 2

Press [1] [4] [∏] [7] [=] 2

Square Root ( ∏ )

Calculate the square root of 64

Press [6] [4] [∏] 8

Percentages (%)

Calculate 6% of 200.

Add 6% tax to a $20 purchase.

REPLACING THE BATTERY

1. Remove the two screws on the rear panel. Using a flat edge, pry open the rear panel.

2. Slide out the old battery. Insert the new battery with the + side up.

3. Replace the rear panel.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Keep the calculator dry. If it gets wet, dry it  before use.

• Do not use harsh solvents or detergents to  clean the unit.

• Do not drop or strike the calculator.
