Meet the MX-200
“One of 2002’s
95 Perfect Things”
As chosen by the editor’s of Men’s Journal magazine. The
MX-200 has been lauded in dozens of publications from
the Robb Report to the Wall Street Journal. Designed to
complement a home theater with a multi-activity remote
control (like the MX-800 or MX-700) the SideKick
automates only one activity: watching TV. It will provide
you with the smallest, lightest and simplest remote control
possible for the activity of surfing Satellite, Cable or
regular Broadcast TV. For kids and casual users (or for
the truly committed Surfer), the MX-200 is perfect.

Automation Using Custom Programming
Extensive Automation with Macros
The powerful memory of the MX-200 offers up to 11 potential
macro buttons. Each of these macros can play back recorded
sequences of commands that completely automates a complex
system with one button press. A macro can record and play
back up to 190 steps with time delays between steps when
desired. For example: A single press of the ON button could
turn on the TV, the Surround Sound system, and the Satellite
Receiver, then set the TV to the correct Video Input, the
surround system to the right Audio settings, and finish by
selecting your favorite Satellite TV station.
The Perfect “Simple” Remote for
Bedrooms, Kitchens and Guest Rooms
Because of it’s simple key layout and powerful macro capability
the MX-200 becomes the perfect remote for any room where
the only activity is watching TV. Even if the room has it’s own
Satellite Receiver or Cable Box, the MX-200 will automate
ON, OFF and channel surfing while providing none of the
complicated distractions of the original remote controls. Live
life simply, with an MX-200 SideKick!
Windows Based MXEditor PC Software
The MX-200 and its MXEditor Software contains over 1,500
“code
sets” of Brand/Models including hard to find and specific discrete codes that allow for precise control of all system
components. Learning codes is enabled with an MX-800 or
MX-700 remote control connected to the PC. MXEditor can
also be used on a Mac, if the user has a Windows 98, ME, 2000
or XP emulator.
