Correct use
Calculator for mathematical functions, e.g.: +, -, x, ÷, ,
%, including sum memory.
This calculator has solar cells. If insufficient light is
available, it switches automatically to battery operation.
Safety note
DANGER for children
• Swallowing batteries could be fatal. Batteries must
be stored out of reach of small children.
• Swallowing a coin cell can lead to choking. Consult
a doctor immediately.

CAUTION - damage to property
• Switch the device “OFF” before inserting the
batteries.
• Only use the specified battery type.
• Ensure correct polarity.
• Check the battery regularly for leaks.
• If the device is not used for long periods of time,
remove the batteries.
• Please remove empty batteries from the device.
• Never short-circuit the connection poles.
Commissioning
Before commissioning, remove the plastic strip inserted
on the rear side of the calculator.
Inserting/replacing the battery/batteries
• Before inserting the battery/batteries, switch off the
device.
• Open the battery compartment with a screwdriver
and insert 1 x 1.5 V LR1130 battery ensuring correct
polarity. Close the battery compartment correctly.

Press the CE button to correct the last digit entry. After
you have reached the result, press ON/C to reset the
display to 0.
If you have entered one of the following calculator
functions (+, -, x, ÷) incorrectly, you can correct it by
immediately entering the correct function.
The calculator switches off automatically after approx.
7 minutes if no buttons are activated.
Troubleshooting
If the display is not working, proceed as follows:
• Check if the battery is empty.
• Check whether the battery is inserted with the correct
polarity.
The device contains sensitive electronic parts. It is

therefore possible that it is being disrupted by remote
devices in the immediate vicinity Mobile telephones,
two-way radios, CB radio equipment, remote controls
and microwaves could all cause disturbance. If error
messages appear on the display, remove these devices
from the vicinity of the device.
Electrostatic discharge could lead to functional errors. If
such functional errors occur, remove the battery briefly
and replace it again.
Cleaning and storage
Only use a dry and fluff-free cloth for cleaning.
Disposal
Disposing of the device
Never dispose of the device in normal household
waste.
The device should be disposed of via an
authorized waste disposal company or your
local waste disposal organization. The valid
regulations must be complied with. If in doubt,
contact your waste disposal organization.
Disposing of the battery
Dispose of the battery before disposing of the
device. Old batteries must not be disposed of in
household waste. Return your used batteries to

your dealer or the designated returns point.
Disposing of the packaging
Dispose of all packaging components in an
environmentally friendly manner.

Warranty
The device has been manufactured to strict quality
guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery.
In the event of product defects you have legal rights
against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are
not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this device is 3 years from the date of
purchase. Should this device show any fault in materials
or manufacture within three years from the date of
purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.
Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location.
This document is required as your proof of purchase.
This warranty becomes void if the device has been
damaged or improperly used or maintained.
The warranty applies to faults in material or
manufacture. This warranty does not cover product
parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered
consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile
parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass
parts.

Turvaohjeet

VAROITUS - esinevaurioita
• Kytke laite pois päältä “OFF” ennen paristojen
asettamista.
• Käytä vain ilmoitetuntyyppisiä paristoja.
• Huomioi oikeanapaisuus.
• Tarkista säännöllisesti, ettei paristo vuoda.
• Jos laite on käyttämättömänä pidemmän aikaa,
poista paristot.
• Ota tyhjät paristot pois laitteesta.
• Älä missään nimessä oikosulje liitäntänapoja.
Käyttöönotto
Vedä ennen käyttöönottoa pois paristokoteloon
(laskimen takana) kiinnitetyt muovitarraliuskat.
Pariston/paristojen asettaminen/
vaihtaminen
• Kytke laite pois päältä ennen pariston/paristojen
vaihtamista.
• Avaa paristokotelo ruuvimeisselillä ja aseta 1 x 1,5
V:n LR1130 -paristo oikein päin paikoilleen. Sen
jälkeen sulje jälleen kotelon kansi.

Paina näppäintä CE, korjataksesi tuloksen. Paina ON/C, kun haluat
nollata syöttämäsi luvut.

Ohje: Jos tulos ylittää “99999999”, näytölle ilmestyy
“E” ennen tulosta.
Paina painiketta CE korjataksesi viimeisimmän syötön.
Kun tulos näkyy näytöllä, paina painiketta ON/C
nollataksesi sen sekä näytön.
Jos olet syöttänyt väärin jonkin seuraavista
laskutoimituksista (+, -, x, ÷) voit korjata asian
syöttämällä välittömästi oikean laskutoimituksen.
Kun painikkeita ei käytetä, taskulaskin sammuttaa
itsensä n.7 minuutin kuluttua automaattisesti.
Vianpoisto
Jos näyttö ei toimi, menettele seuraavalla tavalla:
• Tarkista, onko paristo tyhjä.
• Tarkista, että paristo on asetettu oikein päin (oikeat
navat).
Laite sisältää herkkiä sähköosia. Siksi on mahdollista,

että laite häiriintyy, jos sen välittömässä läheisyydessä
on langattomia viestintälaitteita. Tällaisia ovat mm.
matkapuhelimet, radiopuhelimet, muut
radioviestintälaitteistot, kaikenlaiset kauko-ohjaimet ja
mikroaaltolaitteet. Jos näytölle ilmestyy virheilmoitus,
poista edellä mainitun kaltainen laite tämän laitteen
läheisyydestä.
Sähköstaattinen purkaus saattaa johtaa
toimintahäiriöihin. Tällaisen häiriön ilmaantuessa poista
paristo väliaikaiseti ja laita sitten uudestaan paikoilleen.
Puhdistus ja säilytys
Käytä puhdistukseen ainoastaan kuivaa, nukkaamatonta
liinaa.
Hävittäminen
Laitteen hävittäminen
Älä missään tapauksessa hävitä laitetta tavallisen
kotitalousjätteen mukana.
Vie laite hävitettäväksi valtuutetulle
jätehuoltoyritykselle tai toimita se kunnan /
kaupungin jätehuoltoon. Noudata voimassa
olevia määräyksiä. Ota tarvittaessa yhteyttä
jätehuoltoon.
Paristojen hävittäminen
Hävitä paristo ennen laitteen hävittämistä.
Vanhoja paristoja ei saa hävittää
kotitalousjätteen mukana. Toimita vanhat
Pb Hg
paristot niitä varten olevaan keräyspisteeseen.
Pakkauksen hävittäminen
Toimita kaikki pakkausmateriaalit ympäristöä
kuormittamattomaan jätehuoltoon.

Takuu
Laite on valmistettu huolellisesti tiukkojen
laatudirektiivien mukaan ja tarkistettu huolella ennen
toimitusta. Jos tuote on virheellinen, sinulla on ostajana
lakisääteiset oikeudet esittää vaatimuksia tuotteen
myyjää kohtaan. Seuraavassa esitetty takuu ei rajoita
lakisääteisiä oikeuksiasi.
Laitteelle myönnetty takuu on voimassa 3 vuotta
ostopäivästä lukien. Takuun voimassaolo alkaa tuotteen
ostopäivästä. Säilytä aina alkuperäinen kassakuitti. Se
toimii todisteena tehdystä ostoksesta.
Jos kolmen vuoden sisällä tuotteen ostopäivästä
alkaen tuotteesta löytyy materiaali- tai valmistusvirhe,
korjaamme tuotteen ilmaiseksi tai toimitamme tilalle
uuden tuotteen harkintamme mukaan. Takuu raukeaa,
jos tuote on vioittunut asiattoman käytön tai huollon
vuoksi.
Takuu koskee materiaali- ja valmistusvirheitä. Takuu ei
kata tuotteen osia, jotka kuluvat normaalissa käytössä ja
siitä syystä pidetään kuluvina osina (esim. paristot) tai
vaurioita särkyvissä osissa esim. kytkimessä, akuissa tai
lasista valmistetuissa osissa.
