NOTAS IMPORTANTES

•Conéctese únicamente a la tensión indicada en la placa de características.

•Lea atentamente estas instrucciones. Consérvelas para futuras consultas.

•Utilice el aparato sólo para el uso descrito en este manual. No utilice accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante.

•Para una protección adicional, se aconseja la instalación de un dispositivo de corriente residual (RCD) con corriente de funcionamiento residual de régimen no superior a 30 mA en el circuito eléctrico que alimente el baño. Pregunte a su instalador.

•Tanto al introducir como al sacar la clavija del enchufe, el interruptor debe estar en la posición “0”.

•ATENCION: No utilizar este aparato cerca del agua contenida en las bañeras, lavabos u otros recipientes.

•No manipule el aparato con las manos mojadas o los pies húmedos o cuando se encuentre descalzo.

•No utilice el aparato con el pelo completamente mojado.

•Asegúrese siempre de que los accesorios estén completamente secos (tanto en el exterior como en el interior) antes de fijarlos en el modelador.

•NO SUMERGIR EL APARATO EN AGUA NI EN

CUALQUIER OTRO LIQUIDO.

ADVERTENCIA: No utilice este aparato cerca de bañeras, duchas o lavabos u otros recipientes con agua.

•Cuando utilice el secador en un baño, desenchúfelo después de apagarlo.

•No manipule el aparato con el cable enrollado.

•Con los accesorios: Tenaza rizadora y Cepillo de cerdas retractiles, el cilindro se calentará durante el uso. Evite el contacto con la piel.

•Compruebe periódicamente que la rejilla no esté bloqueada por pelusas o pelos. No bloquee nunca la rejilla de entrada de aire.

•Este aparato no debe ser utilizado por personas (incluyendo niños) con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales disminuidas o falta de experiencia y conocimiento a menos que hayan sido instruidas respecto a su uso por una persona responsable.

•Los niños deberán ser vigilados para asegurar que no juegan con el aparato.

•No desconecte nunca tirando del cable.

•Antes de su limpieza compruebe que el aparato se encuentra desconectado.

•No coloque ni guarde el aparato donde exista riesgo de caída.

•Antes de guardarlo, espere a que el aparato esté frío.

•No lo ponga en funcionamiento si el cordón o el enchufe están dañados o si observa que el aparato no funciona correctamente.

•Mantenga fuera del alcance los niños el material de embalaje como bolsas de plástico.

•Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, deberá ser sustituido por el fabricante, su servicio técnico u otra persona cualificada, para evitar posibles peligros.

•Las reparaciones y cambios de cable deberán ser realizadas exclusivamente por un Servicio Técnico Autorizado.

DISPOSITIVO DE SEGURIDAD CONTRA EL CALENTAMIENTO EXCESIVO

El modelador posee un dispositivo de desconexión automática que lo desconecta si accidentalmente queda obstruida la entrada de aire. Elimine la causa del bloqueo, ponga el interruptor a “0” y trascurridos unos 5 minutos vuelva a conectar el aparato.

CONSEJOS PREVIOS A LA PUESTA EN

FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL APARATO

-Proceda siempre a cambiar los accesorios del modelador con el aparato en posición apagado y desenchufado.

-Antes de usar el modelador , cepille y peine el cabello de manera que quede desenredado y suelto.

-El modelador es mas eficaz cuando el cabello se encuentra ligeramente húmedo. Si su cabello se encuentra seco humedézcalo ligeramente.

-¡NUNCA UTILICE EL APARATO CON EL PELO COMPLETAMENTE­ MOJADO!

-Haga una prueba de rizado para determinar cuanto tiempo debe permanecer el accesorio rizador en su cabello para obtener un buen resultado. Le aconsejamos que comience con un intervalo de 8 a 10 seg.

-Si desea rizos mas marcados deberá mantenerlo mas tiempo sobre su cabello. Menos tiempo si es el caso contrario.

FUNCIONAMIENTO

Conecte el aparato a la red siempre en la posición “0”. Seguidamente mediante el selector de potencias seleccione la potencia de calor deseada.

La posición Aire Frío reduce la temperatura considerablemente y permite un enfriamiento rápido después del marcado.

El pulsador de Aire Frío incorpora una doble función, para que usted disfrute de una mayor comodidad y libertad de movimientos:

En la posición (•) la función de aire frío queda seleccionada de forma permanente. Con la posición (P) solo se obtendrá aire frío mientras se mantenga pulsado el botón. (Fig. 1)

Advertencia: Cuando desee utilizar aire caliente compruebe que el interruptor de aire frío esta en la posición (P).

Un práctico anillo colgador facilita la colocación del aparato en la pared y simplifica el guardado

IONIZACIÓN CONTINUA

Este secador ha sido dotado de un sistema para generar iones negativos.

Mediante la acción de los iones negativos se reduce el tamaño de las gotas de agua, facilitando el secado y haciendo que el cabello absorba una mayor cantidad de agua. De esta forma, se logra que el pelo se mantenga mejor hidratado, más suave, con mayor brillo y se facilita el peinado. (Fig. 2)

FIJAR Y SUSTITUIR ACCESORIOS

-Para acoplar un accesorio al cuerpo principal del motor alinee

el gráfico ( ) del accesorio con el gráfico ( ) del cuerpo principal del motor, (figura 3) y gire en sentido de las agujas del

reloj hasta que los gráficos ( ) y ( ) queden alineados. Podrá escuchar un Click de ajuste, (figura 4).

-Para desacoplar un accesorio presione el “pulsador anclaje accesorios” y gire el accesorio en sentido inverso de las agujas del reloj hasta extraerlo definitivamente, (figura 5).

CEPILLO DE CERDAS RETRACTILES

Para hacer rizos sueltos en cabellos cortos-

semi cortos.

Monte el cepillo en el cuerpo principal como se espe-

cifica en el apartado “Fijar y Sustituir accesorios”.

Seleccione un mechón de cabello y enróllelo al rededor del cepillo. Asegúrese de que las puntas del mechón estén enrolladas en la dirección

deseada.

Si enrolla el cabello formando un ángulo recto con el cuero cabelludo, dará a su cabello un cuerpo y un volumen óptimos.

Ponga en marcha el aparato seleccionando la posición de velo­ cidad (1), y varíe a la posición 2 cuando crea necesario y hasta que se note el cabello caliente al tacto. Para finalizar, podrá dirigir un chorro de aire frío al cabello para fijar su modelado.

Extraiga el cepillo del cabello presionando la palanca de apertura y desconecte el aparato.

Hacer ondulaciones en cabello largo

Seleccionando las puntas del cabello y enrollándolas alrededor del cepillo, realice la misma operación que en el apartado anterior.

CEPILLO BRUSHING (Mod. MP6815)

Especialmente indicado para cepillados alisados con cabellos grasos con volumen natural, para marcar una onda o una ondulación

Para su uso tome una mecha fina con la mano libre y séquela deslizando el cepillo por debajo.

Se debe girar ligeramente el cepillo y sentir una cierta presión sobre el cabello. El movimiento debe ser amplio: el cepillo debe agarrar bien la mecha, sin enrollar realmente.

CEPILLO MOLDEADOR METÁLICO EXTRA-VOLUMEN

(Mod.6820) TYPE: C_MP03

A las cualidades del cepillo BRUSHING explicado en el apartado anterior hay que sumar que este moldeador incrementa el volumen, esto es debido al calentamiento de la placa metálica, de esta manera hace la función mas efectiva.

TENAZA RIZADORA

Para hacer rizos en cualquier tipo y longitud de cabello.

Abra la pinza presionando la palanca de apertura, y coloque un mechón de cabello entre la pinza y el cilindro. Verifique que las puntas del mechón estén enrolladas en la dirección deseada.

Cuanto mas fino sea el mechón mas marcado sera el rizo, no enrolle demasiado cabello a la vez, y evite enrollar un mechón mas de dos veces.

Ponga en marcha el aparato seleccionando la posición de velocidad (1), y varíe a la posición 2 cuando crea necesario y hasta que se note caliente al tacto. Para finalizar, podrá dirigir un chorro de aire frío al cabello para fijar su modelado y obtener unos resultados mas duraderos.

Para conseguir aire frío, presione el pulsador-interruptor de aire frío. Apaguen el aparato y gire la tenaza rizadora en dirección contraria hasta que puedan abrir la pinza.

PLANCHA DE PELO

Con este accesorio puede alisar el cabello. Para su uso, divida el cabello en mechones, coja un mechón, presiónelo con las planchas y desplace éstas suavemente de la raíz a las puntas.

Seleccione la posición calor máximo, y tan pronto como el cabello se note seco, repita la operación con un chorro de Aire Frío para fijar el planchado y conseguir resultados duraderos.

BOQUILLA CONCENTRADORA

El concentrador de aire le ayuda a dirigir el flujo de aire o a secar un punto en concreto.

LIMPIEZA

Para proceder a su limpieza desenchufe siempre el aparato de la red. Póngalo en un lugar seguro y deje que se enfríe. Limpie el aparato con un pequeño cepillo o con un paño seco.

ALMACENAMIENTO

Desenchufe el aparato de la red. No enrolle el cable alrededor del aparato y póngalo en un lugar seguro mientras se enfría. El aparato puede guardarse colgándolo de su anilla.

CONSEJOS SOBRE ELIMINACIÓN:

IMPORTANT NOTES

•Only connect it to the voltage stated on the characteristics plate.

•Read through these instructions carefully. Safeguard them for future reference.

•Only use the appliance for the purposes described in this manual. Never use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.

•For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

•The On/Off switch must be in the “0” position when plugging it in or unplugging it.

•ATTENTION: Do not use the appliance near water contained in baths, basins or other receptacles.

•Do not handle the appliance with wet hands, or with damp feet or barefoot.

•Do not use the appliance on completely soaked hair.

•Always make sure that the accessories are completely dry (both inside and out) before attempting to attach them to the styling tongs.

• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

•When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off.

•Do not operate the appliance with the cable still coiled.

•When using accessories: Curling tong and retractable bristle brush, the barrel will heat up during use. Do not let it come into contact with the skin.

•Check the inlet grille periodically to make sure that it has not become blocked with hair or fluff. Never block the air inlet grille.

•Do not leave the appliance operating unattended, especially near children or the handicapped.

•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

•Never unplug it by tugging on the mains cable.

•Before cleaning it, make sure that the appliance is unplugged and cold.

•Do not place or store the appliance where there is a risk of it falling.

•Wait until the appliance is cold before storing it away.

•Do not switch the appliance on if the cable or the plug are damaged or if it can be detected that the appliance is not working correctly

•Keep packaging material, such as plastic bags, out of children’s reach.

•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

•Cable repairs and replacements must be carried out exclusively by an Authorised Technical Service Centre.

OVERHEATING SAFETY DEVICE

The styling tongs have an automatic cut-out device which disconnects it if the air intake becomes obstructed accidentally. Remove the obstruction, switch it to “0” and wait for 5 minutes before switching it back on.

TIPS PRIOR TO SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE ON

-Always change the styling tong accessories with the appliance switched off and unplugged.

-Brush and comb the hair so that it is untangled and loose before using the styling tongs.

-The styling tongs are more effective when the hair is slightly damp. If your hair is dry then dampen it slightly. DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE ON COMPLETELY SOAKED HAIR!

-Do a curl test to determine how long the curling accessory will have to be left on the hair to produce good results. We advise starting off at about 8 to 10 seconds.

If you want heavier curls then leave the tongs on the hair for longer. Less time for lighter curls.

USE

Always plug the appliance into the mains when in the “0” position. Then choose the desired heat setting on the power selector.

The Cold Air position reduces the temperature considerably and allows it to cool down rapidly after styling.

For ease of use and greater mobility the Cold Air button is dual function:

In the (•) position the Cold Air function will remain on permanently. In the (P) position Cold Air will only be produced while the button is being pressed. (Fig. 1)

Warning: Check that the Cold Air switch is in the (P) position whenever you wish to use hot air.

A handy hang ring allows the appliance to be hung up on the wall, simplifying storage.

CONTINUOUS IONISATION

This hairdryer is equipped with a system to generate negative ions and which starts to work as soon as you switch the hairdryer on and for as long as it is being used.

The action of the negative ions reduces the size of the water droplets to make drying easier and allowing the hair to absorb much more water. This produces softer, shiner, hydrated hair that is much easier to comb. (Fig. 2)

ATTACHING & REPLACING ACCESSORIES

-To attach an accessory to the main body, line up the ( ) mark on the accessory with the ( ) mark on the main body and turn

it in a clockwise direction so that the ( ) and ( ) marks line up. You should hear it click into position. (fig 4).

-To remove an accessory, press the “lock accessory button” and turn the accessory in an anti-clockwise direction until it comes off. (fig. 5).

RETRACTABLE BRISTLE BRUSH

HAIR IRON

To create loose curls in short - mid-length

hair.

Attach the brush to the main body, as described

in the Attach & Remove Accessories section.

Select a strand of hair and roll it around the brush. Make sure that the ends of the strand is rolled in

the desired direction.

If the hair is rolled at right angles to the scalp this will give your hair body and maximum volume.

Switch the appliance on by selecting the speed setting (1) changing it to position 2 whenever necessary and until you notice the hair is hot to the touch. To finish off, you can aim a jet of cold air at the hair to set the style.

Remove the brush from the hair by pressing the open lever and switching the appliance off.

To put waves in long hair.

Selecting the ends of the hair and rolling them around the brush, doing the same as mentioned in the previous section.

BRUSHING (Mod. MP6815)

Especially suitable for putting waves into straight greasy hair with natural volume.

To do this, take a fine strand of hair with your free hand and dry it by sliding the brush along under it.

You should twist the brush slightly and feel the brush tugging gently on the hair. Broad movements should be used: The brush has to grip the strand but without really curling it.

CURLING TONG

To put curls in any type or length of hair.

Open the tongs by pressing the Open lever and place a strand of hair between the tong and the barrel. Make sure that the ends of the strand are rolled in the desired direction.

The finer the strand of hair the stronger the curl will be, try not to roll too much hair at once and avoid curling the same strand of hair more than

twice.

Switch the appliance on by selecting the speed setting (1) changing it to position 2 whenever necessary

until you notice that it is hot to the touch. To finish off, you can aim a jet of cold air at the hair to set the style for longer lasting results.

To produce cold air, press the Cold Air push-button/switch.

Switch the appliance off and turn the curling tong in the opposite direction so that you can open the pincer.

This accessory can be used to straighten hair. To do this, divide the hair up into strands, place one strand in between the plates, pressing and sliding them gently along from the root to the tip.

Select the maximum heat setting and as soon as you notice that your hair is dry repeat the operation but with a jet of cold air, as this will set the style and give longer lasting results.

CLEANING
