1. Introduction
Tributaries AC300 is an Optical to Analog Audio Converter (DAC) with Dolby® Digital Decoding. This unit provides the ideal solution for converting an optical signal to analog stereo audio. With audio sampling rate support up to 48kHz (Dolby Digital)/96kHz (LPCM) and I/O data rate support up to 24-bit, the AC300 provides high quality sound conversion that guarantees the Dolby digital audio signals are down-mixed to analog stereo without loss of quality. Powered by USB power, the AC300 is easy to install and use. It can be used with USB equipped HDTVs, Blu-ray players, amplifiers or computers without the need for a separate power supply.

4.1 Front Input Panel

Dolby LED indicator: When the source audio is encoded with Dolby Digital the LED will illuminate.
Optical Input: Connect an optical cable from the source’s optical output to the AC300’s Optical input.
USB 5VDC power port: Connect a Mini USB > USB A cable from AC300 to a USB powered port.
Power LED: The LED will illuminate when connected to a power source.
