assistant. Ideal for controlling lamps, kitchen appliances, and other devices from anywhere. Download the Kasa app and control your outlets remotely.
The Kasa app provides easy step-by-step installation instructions and convenient remote control from anywhere.

• Easy Install - The Kasa Smart app provides an easy to follow step-by-step wiring guide to help replace your existing in-wall outlets.

• Voice Control - Use Alexa, Google Assistant, or Microsoft Cortana to control your devices with voice commands.

Appearance
Smart Power Outlet has 2 individual smart outlets, with control buttons to turn on/o devices plugged in. The System LED changes color according to
its status. See the explanation below:

· Press the button to turn on or o the corresponding outlet.
· Press and hold a button for 5s to reenable setup mode.
· Press and hold a button for 10s to restore KP200 to factory default settings.

Set Up Your Smart Power Outlet
Follow the steps below to set up your Smart Power Outlet via Kasa Smart app.
1. Download and install Kasa app
Go to Google Play or the Apple App Store
or scan the QR code below to download the
Kasa app on your Android or iOS smartphone
or tablet.
2. Log in or sign up with TP-Link ID
Open the app. Use your TP-Link ID to log in.
If you don’t have a TP-Link ID, tap Create
Account and the Kasa app will guide you
through the rest.
3. Add Device
Tap the + button in the Kasa app, select Smart
Outlet.

Label the Wires

The black wire is line wire. The white wire
is neutral wire.

Follow the steps below to set up your Smart Power Outlet via Kasa Smart app.
4. Label the Old Wires
Turn off the power, remove the old wallplate
and label the wires before the disconnection.
5. Connect the New Wires
Disconnect the old wires and connect the new
wires to the connections of Smart Outlet with
the wire labels.
Note: Straighten and align the ends of wires from Smart Outlet and your
outlet box. Fully tighten them and ensure that no conductor is exposed.
6. Double-Check the Wires
Check all of the wires and give them a light tug
while holding the wire nut to make sure they
are secure.

7. Install Smart Outlet
Gently fold all of the wires back into the
wallbox. Secure Smart Outlet with the screws
provided.
8. Attach the Wallplate
With your Smart Outlet secured, snap on the
provided wallplate. Follow Kasa instructions to
connect it to your home network.

Main Device Controls
After you successfully set up your Smart Power Outlet, you will see the home page of the Kasa app. Here you can view the status of all devices that
you've added to Kasa and manage them. There are 2 smart outlets of KP200 and you can tap on a smart outlet to control and manage

Congure Your Smart Power Outlet
On Device Status page, you can set Schedule, preset Away Mode, set Timer, check Usage and change the settings of your smart outlet.

Tap to set a schedule for your smart
outlet to simplify your daily routine by creating
automatic On/O action.
Preset Away Mode
Tap to preset the Away Mode and your
smart outlet will be randomly turned on/off
during this time.

Tap to set the timer and your smart outlet
will automatically turn on/o after the time ends.
Check Usage
Tap to view and track energy consumption.
Device Settings
Tap to view and change the settings of
your smart outlet.

Create Scenes
A scene is a preset group of smart devices that can be programmed, customized and activated simultaneously at the touch of a button from your
smartphone or tablet, allowing you to easily set your mood, activity or t any special occasion. This page allows you to preset how your smart home
devices should act automatically at special occasions.

Discover Kasa
Use the Kasa app to pair your Smart Power Outlet with Amazon Alexa, Google Home Assistant or Microsoft Cortana and enjoy a full hands-free
experience. Kasa helps manage the rest of your smart home too, working with Nest to trigger changes when you arrive home or leave for the day. IFTTT
support makes it easy to set interactions between a whole host of products.
Launch the Kasa app and go to Add Device > WORKS WITH KASA > Nest Home and Away / Amazon Alexa / Google Assistant / IFTTT for detailed
instructions.
