1. Quick Start

a) Screw a primed and filled Tornado eGo-C+ tank onto the top of the

battery taking care not to over tighten. (For Tornado eGo-C+ filling
instructions see 2)

b) Press the power button rapidly 5 times, the battery light will flash to

indicate that the battery is switched on.

c) Press the power button as you gently inhale on the mouthpiece; release

the button as soon as you have finished inhaling.

d) To turn off press the power button rapidly 5 times. The battery light will

flash to indicate the power is switched off.

e) To switch between the two modes: (3.3v / 4.2v), ensure that the device is

switched off press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. The light
will flash orange to indicate that it is in 4.2v mode. Press and hold for a
further 10 seconds and the light will flash blue indicating 3.3v. For a more
detailed explanation of the two modes see section 3.

2. Tornado eGo-C+ assembly and filling instructions:

The Tornado eGo-C+ consists of five detachable parts.

2.1 Replacing the Tornado eGo-C+ atomizer

a) Unscrew the tank from the battery.
b) With the tank upside down unscrew the base (1).
c) Unscrew the atomizer collar (3) remove the atomizer (2) and replace.
d) Reattach the atomizer collar (3), do not overtighten.
e) Carefully screw the base (1) onto the tank (4.)
f) Reattach to the battery.

2.2 Refilling:

a) Unscrew the tank from the battery.
b) Unscrew the base (1).
c) Refill the tank (4), taking care not to overfill.
d) Carefully screw the base (1) onto the tank (4).
e) Reattach to the battery.

For optimum performance it is recommended that the Tornado eGo-C+ tank
is used on a device which has an output between 3.3-4.2v.

3. Features of the eGo-C+ battery

3.1 When operating in Blue light Mode the output
is a regulated 3.7v.

a) To switch between modes please see section 1e.
b) The power button LED indicates the battery charge condition by

illuminating from white, (fully charged), to dark blue, (charging required),

accuracy is +/- 10%.
c) When the battery is fully charged the power button LED illuminates white.
d) When the power is between 50-10% the power button LED illuminates

sky blue.

e) When the power is less than 10% the power button LED illuminates dark

blue to warn that the battery needs to be recharged.

f) The control unit has inbuilt overcharge protection. When the battery is

fully charged, charging will stop automatically.
g) Charging takes approximately 3 hours from flat to fully charged.
h) Short circuit protection: When a short circuit occurs, the device will

disconnect the power supply automatically and the battery will be locked.
The battery can be unlocked by removing the cause of the short circuit (a
faulty cartomizer for example) and unlocking as described in section 1b.

3.2 When operating in Orange light mode the output is governed by a direct
connection to the battery operating at a maximum of 4.2v when fully
charged and decreasing with the battery life.

a) To switch between modes please see section 1e.
b) This mode does not have variable illumination to indicate the level of

battery charge.

c) The performance will gradually decrease as the battery power is

depleted.

d) The control unit has inbuilt overcharge protection. When the battery is

fully charged, charging will stop automatically.
e) Charging takes approximately 3 hours from flat to fully charged.
f) Short circuit protection: When a short circuit occurs, the device will

disconnect the power supply automatically and the battery will be locked.
The battery can be unlocked by removing the cause of the short circuit (a
faulty cartomizer for example) and unlocking as described in section 1b.

3.3 Charging the battery

a) The Tornado eGo-C battery is a lithium-ion battery. It should be charged

using an appropriate charger. Charging time is about 3 hours (based on
a fully discharged state).

b) To charge the battery, plug the USB lead into an appropriately powered

USB port and screw the battery into the connector. On the charger, a
red LED will illuminate to indicate charging, the battery button will flash
rapidly to confirm synchronisation. The LED will illuminate red when
charging, and green when charging is complete.

c) Do not use other batteries except for those specific to this device. Use a

dedicated high voltage USB port to charge battery properly when using
a computer.

d) A lithium-ion battery is a consumable item and its life span will decrease

with use.

e) Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

3.4 Lithium-ion battery specification and precautions

a) Do not use or store the battery where it is exposed to extreme heat.
b) Do not use the battery if it gives off an odor, generates heat, becomes

discolored or deformed, or appears abnormal in any way. If the battery

is in use or being recharged, remove it from the device or charger

immediately and discontinue use.
c) Do not use the battery in combination with primary batteries (such as dry-

cell batteries) or batteries of different capacity, type or brand.
d) Do not strike, throw or subject the battery to sever physical shock.
e) Do not pierce or damage the battery housing.
f) Do not immerse the battery in water or allow it to get wet.
g) Keep the batteries in a separate place and don’t let them mix with metal

objects.
h) Remove the lithium-ion battery from the e-cigarette if you plan to store it

for long periods of time.
i) Store at room temperature.
j) Do not short-circuit the battery.

3.5 Precautions and Warranty information

a) Be sure to read the instructions and precautions before using the

product.

b) If your device appears faulty within the warranty period please return to

Totally Wicked. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself as damage or

personal injury may occur.
c) Do not immerse the battery unit in water.
d) Keep your Tornado eGo-C+ kit away from sources of excessive heat.
e) Please use only dedicated accessories and batteries, and keep it away

from children.
f) Do not drop as you may cause damage to outer shell or inner

components.

This product carries a 28 day parts warranty.
We are not responsible for any defects caused by human error.
