Wireless Gateway Cable Modem
The PCX5000 represents the FIRST cable modem
with integrated wireless router capabilities.
Offering MSOs a single solution to the challenges of enabling home networking and
cable modem connectivity without installation hassles, the PCX5000 has revolutionized
the industry. With four 10/100 Ethernet ports, plus a wireless 802.11b interface, the
PCX5000 is both powerful and versatile. Wi-Fi compliance ensures compatibility with
other Wi-Fi devices, making connecting a customer’s home network a breeze.
Added functionality includes full NAT/NAPT, Stateful Inspection Firewall and Content
Filtering capabilities, DHCP client and DHCP server functionality, plus much more.
Consumers will find the PCX5000 meets all of their connectivity and security needs,
in one compact package. The PCX5000 represents the ultimate home networking
tool for both customers and MSOs.
