Toshiba’s DOCSIS 1.1 based PCX1100U Cable Modem offers the high-
est performance in cable data modem technology. Utilizing the same
Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) interface as cable television, the PCX1100U
DOCSIS Cable Modem provides residential and small business users
with a faster, more powerful two-way interface to the Internet. With
phenomenal data transfer rates, a typical 10MB file can be downloaded in
75 seconds versus over 20 minutes with the latest in 56K analog modems.
The Toshiba PCX1100U DOCSIS Cable Modem has been CableLabs
Certified™ approved to meet the rigorous interoperability requirements of the
Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) standard. This
assures you that the Toshiba PCX1100U DOCSIS Cable Modem will work seam-
lessly with any DOCSIS data services network no matter where you are. The
cable modem is easy to install using either a USB or a standard Ethernet connec-
tion to your PC or to the network hub in a small business. With support for up
to 16 PCs, the Toshiba PCX1100U DOCSIS Cable Modem is ideal for SOHO envi-
ronments where secured, shared Internet access is a requirement.
For MSOs, Toshiba’s PCX1100U DOCSIS Cable Modem includes such advanced
features as a customizable self-installation wizard, remote and local diagnostic
capability, remote firmware download and SNMP support.
