THE CS1.5 IS THE FIFTH- generation advancement
of THIEL’s Coherent Source technology in a two-way system. With the CS1.5,THIEL has met the challenge of achieving a very high level of full-range performance in a smaller, more affordable loudspeaker.

Small speakers may perform well in some respects, but their deep bass extension and dynamic range are usually significantly compromised. The CS1.5 offers true full-range performance from a small speaker. Standing only 33 inches tall, 8.5 inches wide and 11 inches deep, the CS1.5 delivers bass to 42 Hz, projects a realistic and threedimensional soundstage, and provides a very high degree of tonal, transient, and dynamic accuracy.
The CS1.5’s surprising performance is the result of THIEL’s years of experience in speaker design. From its specially designed drivers to its ruggedly built, finely finished, and easy-to-place cabinet, the CS1.5 only dominates the room in the one area that matters—great sound reproduction.

• A 2-inch thick baffle, 1-inch thick cabinet walls, and extensive internal bracing greatly increase cabinet stiffness. By reducing unwanted vibration, both clarity and imaging are improved.
• The grilleboard has rounded edges which contribute to the speaker’s very open sound by reducing energy diffraction.
• Magnetically shielded to prevent television picture distortion.
