WARNING: To prevent re or electrical shock, do not expose the device to rain or moisture.
General Precautions
Avoid placing the device next to central heating components and in areas of high humidity.
Do not cover the device with elements that obstruct the ventilation slots.
If the encoder modulator has been kept in cold conditions for a long time, keep it in a warm room minimum 2 hours
before plugging into the mains.
Mount the encoder modulator in vertical position with the connectors located on the top side.
When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts specied by the
manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original par t. Unauthorized substitutes may result in re, elec tric
shock or other hazards.
Safety check- Upon completion of any service or repairs to this device, ask the service technician to perform safety checks
to determine that the device is in proper condition.
Power precautions
The encoder modulator is powered with a voltage of 12V DC. The power supply voltage must not exceed the recommended
voltage, which otherwise may cause irreparable damage to the device and the invalidation of the warranty. Therefore:
- Do not replace power supply with a voltage greater than 12V DC.
- Do not connect the device to the power if the power cord is damaged.
- Do not plug the device into mains supply until all cables have been connected correctly.
- Do not cut the cord.

ADVERTENCIA: Para evitar incendios o descargas eléctricas, no exponga el equipo a la lluvia ni a la humedad.
Precauciones Generales
Evite colocar el dispositivo junto a componentes de calefacción y en zonas muy húmedas.
No cubra el equipo con elementos que obstruyan las ranuras de ventilación.
Si el equipo se ha mantenido en condiciones de frío durante mucho tiempo, guárdelo en un cuarto caliente por un
mínimo de 2 horas antes de conectarlo a la red eléctrica.
Monte el equipo en una supercie vertical, con los conectores situados en la parte superior.
Cuando se necesiten repuestos, asegúrese de que se utilicen las piezas especicadas por el fabricante o que tengan las
mismas características que las originales. Los repuestos no autorizados pueden provocar incendios, descargas eléctricas
u otros riesgos.
Comprobación de seguridad- Una vez efectuado cualquier servicio o reparación, pídale al servicio técnico que realice
comprobaciones de seguridad para determinar que se el equipo se encuentra en buen estado.
Precauciones Eléctricas
El equipo se alimenta con una tensión de 12Vdc. La tensión de alimentación no debe superar la tensión recomendada, de
lo contrario se pueden causar daños irreparables en el dispositivo y la cancelación de la garantía. Por lo tanto:
- No sustituya la fuente de alimentación con una tensión superior a 12Vdc.
- No conecte el equipo a la alimentación si el cable eléctrico está dañado.
- No conecte el dispositivo al suministro eléctrico hasta que todos los cables se hayan conectado correctamente.
- No corte el cable.
