I. Foreword
Phillips UOC series TV chassis is a new generation super single chip chassis developed to
replace 8838, 8842 and 8843. This chassis genuinely combines CPU and main chip and,
compared to original 88XX series chassis, excels in performance, functions and manufacture
process. Besides, the technical design level of semiconductor chips has enjoyed a substantial rise
and belongs to the latest product of analog TV of Phillips. According to different performance
and functions, Phillips UOC has a total of 25 different product series. To meet the market
demand of our company, we have up to now selectively developed and put into batch production
TDA9351 (with teletext) and DA9373 series chips. Chips of other series will be developed and
designed according to market conditions. Main functional differences between TDA9351 and
TDA9373 series chips are as follows:
