Installation and Safety
To ensure safe and reliable operation of the TV set, please observe the following precautions in installation,
operation and maintenance.
Attention:
1·Pay attention to the power supply cord before installing the TV set. Do not hang anything on the cord, and
avoid treading on the cord.
2·The slots on the back housing are designed for ventilation to prevent overheating. They must never be covered
or blocked. The TV set must not be placed near a heat source such as radiator, air ducts direct sunlight.
3·The outdoor antenna must not be erected close to HV lines or other power supply lines. Use extreme care when
erecting the antenna.
4·This TV must be connected to AC 240V 50Hz. Never connect to DC supply or any other power supply 5·Do not let any object fall into the ventilation openings of the TV set housing, nor let any liquid flow into the it
via the openings. This may cause the television to short circuit
6·Do not subject the TV set to rain, or use it in damp environment. In cleaning dust, be sure to remove the power
supply plug from its socket first. Do not clean the television with liquid detergent, use a damp cloth. Be sure to remove
the power supply plug from its socket and remove the antenna plug during a thunderstorm or when it will not be used
for long time, to avoid components being damaged by lightning.
7·If you use an indoor antenna, do not let it touch any electrical appliance, or normal reception of TV program may
be affected.
Safety:
1Never open the rear of the television. High Voltage components can cause fire, electric shock or injury. Qualified
TV service personnel should carry out all internal work.
2. Remove the power supply plug from its socket in case of the following conditions, and consult with service
personnel.
(1) The power cord and plug is damaged or cracked.
(2) Any object has fallen into or liquid flown into the TV set.
(3) The performance of TV set has deteriorated significantly or there is damage on the housing.
(4) The TV set will not operate normally according to the instructions.
3. Please remove the power supply plug from its socket when the TV set will not be used for long time.
The adjusting buttons and some sockets are in the front of the TV, other sockets are in the rear of the TV.

Connection of video signal
Zn cell etc.
If you wish to receive video signal from the video player (for example: VCR, VCD or DVD), you must insert the
player’s audio and video output plugs into this TV’s relevant AV input sockets which are two groups in the rear and
front of the TV respectively. As the audio input of the TV is monophonic, be careful not to insert two audio inputs (L
and R) into each group’s two sockets at the same time, and the sockets in the front and the rear can not be used at the
same time. Then press the TV/AV button to get the picture of video signal.
The TV can broadcast the audio and video signals of received programs from the antenna. The output sockets are in
the rear panel (AV-OUT).
Connection of antenna
The RF signal received from antenna is received through the RF input socket in the rear panel. In order to get a
good reception, it is necessary to use an outdoor antenna or common antenna TV (CATV) cable .The 75Ω coaxial
cable is recommended for eliminating the interference and noise lines resulting from mis-matched impedance .If you use the 300Ω parallel flat cable, please connect with 300Ω-75Ω adapter according to the following figure.

Battery installation (as shown in figure)
(1) Open the cover.
(2) Put in the batteries. Be sure that the polarity (+or-)of the batteries matches that of marks inside the remote control.
(3) Replace the cover.
If following happens, replace with new batteries. For example: remote control does not work normally or cannot control the TV or is not stable, please replace batteries according to the figure. Attention: Exchange weak batteries to prevent leakage of battery acid into the remote control. Do not charge, short circuit, heat or burn normal batteries. Do not use batteries, such as soda cell and C-
Function buttons of remote control
1. TV/AV Button
Press AV button to receive signal connected to AV Inputs. Press it
again to switch back to TV program.
2. Mute Button
Press this button to mute the sound. Press it again to restore the
sound. Press V+ may also be used to restore the sound.
3. Game Button (see the operation method 9).
4. MENU Button (see the operation method 3).
5. Volume Control Button V+/V-
Press the button [V+] to upward the selected one, press the button
[V-] to make it reduce.
6. Picture Button
Adjust the picture mode (see the operation method 5).
7. Clock Button (see the operation method 6).
8. Program Number (0-9, -/--/---)
To select TV program, press 0-9 to select a single-digit program.
To select a two-digit or three-digit program, press the [-/--/---] button
once or twice, then press the number buttons. If the number is
beyond the maximum, its function will become invalid.
9. Sleep Button
To select time required before the television automatically turns to standby mode. The maximum sleep time is 120 minutes,when you
press it once, the time will reduce 15 minutes. If you set the time of sleeping it will delete automatically the set of OFF-TIME.
10. Standby Button
This controls power on/standby modes. Press this button once, it
will swap between working mode and standby mode. When TV is in
standby mode, it is in the state of low power consumption. The
screen is off and the indicator light is on.
11. PP (personal preference) Button
There are five models to select: “standard”, “soft ”, “vivid”, “light ”and “personal preference ”. Press this button, it can display relevant state of picture. Personal preference is used for adjusting brightness, contrast, color etc. by
yourself, the adjusted state will be put automatically into memory.
12. Call Button OSD (on screen display)
Press it once for displaying the present condition. Press it again for canceling the display.
13. Program Selector Button P+/P-
Press these two buttons, the number of program will go up by one or decrease by one. Change the number of
program by pressing P+/P -,it will skip the number of program in "REMEMBER OFF" ( in PRESET menu, it displays “REMEMBER OFF”) .If all programs are in the state of "REMEMBER OFF"it receives only program “0” when you press this button .If only one program is in state of "REMEMBER ON"it receives the only program which is in
"REMEMBER ON" .
14. Sound Button (See the operation method 10).

16. Alternate Program
Press this button onceit can alternate between the present and previous program.
