Power off: Press and hold this key to turn off the telephone when you are in standby mode. Power on: Press and hold this key to turn on the telephone if it is turned off. When you are browsing in the sub-menus, press this key to return to the previous menu. Press this key to reject a call. Press this key to access the address book.
6 Up/Down arrow key
Press the Up key to enter the Menu Press the Down key to access the alarms. When you are browsing in the submenus: press these keys to move the cursor up or down.
7 OK key, Dial key and Call
log access
Press this key to answer an incoming call; Press this key to access the call log in standby mode or to confirm the function selected in the sub-menus

8 FM Radio on/off slider
Move the slider upwards to turn on the radio. Move the slider downwards to turn off the radio.

Keypad
Press the numbers on the keypad to dial a number. Press key 1 and hold to access your voice mail. Press the M1/M2 keys and hold to call the contact to whom you attributed these keys. If you did not attribute any contact to the M2 key, press the key and hold to go back and forth between ring, silence and vibrator modes.
12 Lamp slide key
Move the slider upwards to turn on the lamp. Move the slider downwards to turn off the lamp.
13 SOS button
Press this key and hold to activate/deactivate the SOS procedure.
14 Phone lock slider

Prepare your phone, battery, SIM card, memory card (if you have one) and a charger.
WARNING: The device and accessories contain small parts. Keep all the equipment out of the reach of children. The mains adaptor is the cutoff system for electrical supply to the device. The wall socket must be close to the device
and easily accessible.
1. Install the SIM card
To use all your mobile phone services, you must subscribe to mobile network services. They will provide you with a SIM card with the attributed mobile phone number.
WARNING: Do not bend or scratch the SIM card or let it gather dust, and avoid exposure to humidity and static electricity. If you lose the card, contact your network operator immediately.
Before installing the SIM card, switch off your mobile phone. The slot for the SIM card is on the back of the mobile phone. Follow the diagram below to install the SIM card. Make sure that the SIM card contacts are facing inwards and the bevelled edge is facing upwards.

2. Installing the memory card
To install the micro-SD card (if you have one), open the back cover to remove the battery, release the card lock, insert the card into the slot and replace the lock and the battery before restarting the mobile phone.

This mobile phone is suitable for the original accessories and battery. Install the battery by sliding it into the battery compartment with the contacts facing downwards to the left, in order to prevent the battery contact surface from being damaged. Then, replace the battery compartment cover.
4. Charging the battery
For the first and subsequent uses, charge the phone battery. The icon is displayed when the battery is low. To charge the battery, connect the charger end (micro USB port) to the phone charging port, and the adaptor to a
wall socket. The icon is displayed once the battery is fully charged. You can then disconnect the charger from the phone and from the wall socket. Do not leave the battery connected to the charger for more than 12 hours, since overcharging may shorten the life span.
You can also use the charger base. Connect the USB cable to the charger base and to the wall socket. Put the phone on the charging dock; it will start charging automatically.
WARNING: When a travel charger and its accessories are used to charge the battery, please verify beforehand whether they are authentic or approved by the manufacturer. You run the risk of damaging your mobile phone when you use other accessories. Always use them indoors and in dry places.
Avoid discarding the battery by burning as this can cause a fire. Damaged batteries can cause an explosion. Refer to the detailed safety instructions concerning the precautions for use of the battery.
5. Turning on the phone
Press and hold the red key for three seconds to turn the phone on or off. If no SIM card is inserted or if the SIM

Next, choose your language. Press the key, choose you language from the list and again press . Then
choose your keypad input Language using the Down Arrow key. Once your selection is made, confirm your choice. Press the key to continue.
To set the date and time, use the keypad to enter the date and press to confirm. Then, enter the time and
again press .
Your phone is now ready to be used.
To access the main menu, press the key. In general, to confirm a choice (OK) or see a list of options in a menu, use the key. To go back or cancel an option, use the key. By using the and keys you can scroll through the menus. To lock or unlock your phone, move the slider on the bottom right hand side of the phone up or down.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE
If you are using the phone for the first time, you will be automatically given the option to choose your language when you switch on the device. Scroll through the list of languages, choose your language and validate by pressing the left key.
The phone will register your choice for the SIM card.
1. Go to the main menu and use the Down key to select Settings. Press to validate (OK) and access the phone settings.
2. In Settings, select Telephone. Next, select Language.
3. The Language option is the language you would like to use in your phone menus. Press to access the language selection and use the arrows to set your language.
4. Validate your choice by pressing . The Input language option is the language used to enter text messages (SMS). To modify this option, the procedure
is the same as for the Language option (points 3 and 4).
HOW TO SET THE TIME AND DATE
If you are using the phone for the first time, you will be automatically given the option to set the time and date.
1. Go to the main menu and use the Down key to select Settings. Press to validate (OK) and access the phone settings.
2. In Settings, select Telephone. Next, select Time and Date.
3. Use the Down key to select Time format. Press to validate (OK). Choose between the 12 or 24 hour format. Validate your choice by pressing .
4. Use the Up key to select the Time. Press the key to validate (OK). Set the time by entering the numbers with the keypad.
5. Validate by pressing .
NOTE: In the 12-hour format, when you set the time, press any number key on the keypad to go from AM (morning) to PM (evening) when changing this variable.
To set the date, follow the same procedure as for the time and select the Date option at point 4. You can also change the date format by switching between Year-Month-Day, Month-Day-Year and Day-Month-Year.
USING THE KEYPAD TO ENTER TEXT
To enter words with the keypad, press the letter key until the desired character is displayed. E.g.: to type the letter N, press the 6 key twice; to type the number two, press the 2 key four times.
To enter a space between two words, press the 0 key. To type in upper-case letters, press the key to change the entry mode. You can verify the entry mode in the upper right hand corner. To type a special character displayed.
You can also press the key on the keypad to access the list of special characters. With the and keys on the keypad, scroll through the 5 pages of special characters to find the one you need, and when it is displayed on the page, select it by pressing the number key to which it corresponds.
HOW TO ACCESS AND USE THE ADDRESS BOOK
In the Address book you can register your contacts and their phone numbers. Contacts can be registered on the SIM card, on the phone or both. The phone memory can hold up to 300 contacts.
To access the address book, go to the Main menu and then use the arrows to select Contacts. In the Address book, use the arrows to scroll through your list of contacts.

Quick search
Once in the Address book menu, to find a contact, start typing in the name. The letters that are entered are automatically noted in the search line and all the contacts that correspond with the search are displayed.
NOTE: You can also start typing in a telephone number. The numbers that are entered are automatically noted in the search line and all the contacts that correspond with the search are displayed.

Use the arrows to select the option and press the key to use it.
To add a new contact
1. Press to select New.
2. Select the location to register your contact (phone memory or SIM card) Press to confirm.
3. Use the arrows to select Name, press to validate.
4. Use the arrows to select Mobile, press edit. to validate.
5. Press the red ( ) key to validate.
NOTE: For contacts registered on the phone, the ring tone can be personalised. Use the arrow to select default Ringtones and press to edit. You have the following options:
1. Default ringtone: when the contact calls, the ringtone will be the same for all calls in general
2. Telephone ringtone: choose a ringtone for this contact from the 10 that are available on the phone. Then press to validate your choice.
3. Select from the ringtones/music files: choose a ringtone for this contact from the audio files on your SD card. Then press to validate your choice.
To register a contact from the call log
1. Press to access the call list
2. Use the arrow to select the number you would like to register, then press to validate.
3. Use the arrow to select Add to contacts , then press to validate.
4. Select New contact and press to validate. To create the contact the procedure is the same as in point 2 of the previous section.

NOTE: If you would like to add this number to an existing contact
1. Use the arrow to select Existing contacts , then press to validate.
2. Use the arrow to select the contact for whom you want to replace the number, then press to validate.
3. Mobile appears on the screen. Press
to validate. Please note that by replacing the number, the number
previously registered for this contact will be permanently erased.
5. Press the red ( ) key to validate.
To modify a contact
1. Use the arrow to select the contact you would like to modify , then press to validate.
2. Press to select Edit , then press to validate.
3. Use the arrow to select the Name of the contact if you would like to modify it. Press name using the keypad, then press to validate.
4. Use the arrow to select the number of the contact if you would like to modify it. Press to edit. Enter the
to validate.

To delete a contact
1. Use the arrow to select the contact you would like to delete , then press to validate.
2. Press to select Delete , then press to validate.
3. Use the arrow to select Delete , then press to validate. Please note that by deleting the number, the contact will be permanently erased.
To delete several contacts at once
1. Press to select Delete , then press to validate.
2. Use the arrow to select Several deletions , then press to validate.
3. Use the arrow to select one of the contacts to be deleted. Press to display the options and then select Tick. Press to validate.
4. Repeat step 3 to select all the contacts you would like to delete.
5. Once the contacts are selected, press to display the options. Select OK. Press to validate.

To delete all your contacts

To delete all your contacts on the SIM card alone
1. Press to select Delete , then press to validate.
2. Use the arrow to select Delete from the SIM card , then press to validate.

NOTE: To delete all the contacts from the telephone alone and leave the contacts on the SIM card intact, the procedure is the same as in the following point. However, you must select Delete from phone in step 2.
To copy a contact
1. To copy a contact from one storage location to another (from the SIM card to the telephone or the contrary), press
to select Copy , then press to validate.
2. Use the arrow to select Copy from

NOTE: To copy all your contacts, follow the procedure above. At step 10, press , then select Tick all. You can then go on to step 11.
To move a contact
To move a contact, the procedure is exactly the same as the procedure for copying a contact. The only difference is that when the contact is moved, it is deleted from the original storage location and only appears in the chosen storage location. So To copy a contact
Abbreviated numbers (Direct access memories)
Abbreviated numbers are contacts that you dial the most often or to whom you would like to have quick access. You can attribute a telephone number to the two direct-dial Keys, M1 and M2, located at the bottom of the keypad. You can also attribute a number to the keypad keys (from the 2 key to the 9 key).
The number that is registered can then be dialled by pressing and holding the key that is attributed to it.
Start by registering these contacts in the Address book.
1. Next, in Contacts, press to select Abbreviated numbers.
2. Select one of the figures (from 2 to 9) or one of the free direct access memories (M1 or M2), then press to validate.
3. Press again to Edit.
4. Press to display your contacts and use the arrow to select the contact to which you would like to attribute the short-cut and press to validate.
NOTE: You can also enter the phone number and then validate.
