Strap/ FM Antenna

 

Please read this instruction carefully before using the device

 

1 FM Radio

Turn on the device by pushing the [OFF/MP3/FM] switch to “FM”. Press and hold the [ ] or [ ] button to auto search the next available station.

ATS (Auto Tuning Storage)

When using the radio for the first time, press and hold the [ ] button to auto search and store all the available stations into the memory.

Note: When you find yourself at a new geographical location, it is recommended to perform the ATS function again.

Selecting Stored Stations (in FM mode)

-Press the [ ] or [ ] button.

-Press the [0-9] buttons to input the FM address and wait for 2 seconds to auto confirm the selection, or press [ Enter ] to confirm manually.

Selecting FM Frequency (in FM mode)

Press the [0-9] buttons to input the FM station frequency.

e.g. [9], [8], [0] is for FM98.0MHz.

Note: “Err” on the display after input an FM address means the station is not among the stored stations or the FM frequency is not in the range.

Storing/Deleting Stations

Press [Enter/Delete/Memory] to store a station.

Press the [ ] or [ ] button to choose the station you want to delete and press and hold the [Enter/Delete/Memory] button until “Del” flashes on the display, press again to confirm.

Note: All stored stations will be sorted in sequence after turning off the device.

2 MP3 Player

1.Insert the micro-SD card.

2.Push the [OFF/MP3/FM] switch to “MP3” .

3.Press the [Music Folder] button to play a music file; press the [Voice Folder] button to play a recorded file.

4.Press the [] button to pause while playing, press it again to continue.

5.Press the [ ] button to restart the track.

6.Press the [ ] or [ ] button to change music file; press and hold will fast play the file.

7.Press the [ 1 ] button to select replay mode.

8.Press the [0-9] buttons to select a music file and wait for 2 seconds to auto confirm the selection, or press [ Enter ] to confirm manually. If the input number does not exist, “Err” shows on the display.

3 A-B Repeat

This function is especially useful for learning foreign languages and singing.

To activate the A-B repeat function in MUSIC mode, press the [AB] button once to select your desired starting point (A), and then press it again to set the ending point (B). The device will repeat playing the selected A to B section.

To deactivate A-B repeat, press the [AB], [ ] or [ ] button.

To pause the A-B repeat, press the [] button; press it again to continue.

4 Line-in

Q3 can function as an external speaker for another audio device by connecting the line-in cable and turning it on.

5 Recording

Push the [OFF/MP3/FM] button to either “MP3” or “FM” mode, then press the [Record/Pause] button to start recording.

-In FM mode, the device records FM broadcasting.

-In MP3 mode, it records external voice via the built-in microphone.

-In Line-in mode, it records the audio played on the connected audio player.

To stop recording

- Radio mode, press the [ ] or [ ] button.

-MP3 or Line-in mode, press the [ ], [ ], [ ] or [ ] button.

Note: After recording, the device will play the last recorded file continuously; press the [ ] or [ ] button to stop.

Pause Recording

To pause recording, press the [ ] button, press it again to continue.

Note:

1.In radio recording mode, you can press the

[ ] or [ ] button to change the recording station; the device will keep on recording.

2.All the recorded files will be stored in the VOICE folder of the micro-SD card.

6 Deleting File

In MUSIC/VOICE mode, press the [ ] or [ ] button to select your desired file, then press and hold the [ Enter ] button until “ ” flashes on the display, press the [ Enter ] button again to delete the file.

7 Selecting FM Frequency Range

1.Push the [OFF/MP3/FM] switch to “FM”.

2.Press and hold the MUSIC folder button to select your desired frequency range. The display shows the selected range 76-108MHz or 87-108MHz.

8 Display Light Setting

Press and hold the [ 1 ] button, “On” on the display means the display light is on; “OFF” means the display light is off.

9 Charging

When the battery indicator " " flashes on the display, please charge the battery in time. Connect to an external USB power supply (not included) or connect the included USB cable to your computer to charge. When fully charged, the battery indicator shows " ".

10 Computer Speaker Function

1.Connect the USB cable to a computer.

2.Push the [OFF/MP3/FM] switch to “MP3” or “FM”, PC shows on the display.

3.Open the music file on your computer.

4.You can press the [ / ] or [ ] button to select music files on your computer.

5.If you insert a micro-SD card, you can use the computer to input or delete files directly.

Note: To exit the speaker function and charge the battery, press and hold the [AB] button.

11 Questions and Answers

Q: Why I cannot turn on the device?

A:The battery power maybe too low, charge the battery then try again.

Q:Why I cannot play music from the micro-SD card?

A:1. The device can play MP3, WMA or WAV formats. If you are trying to play a different file format, it will not play.

2.The file may be corrupted.

3.The card may be damaged.

Q:Why some stations are not stored when performing the ATS function?

A:For some stations the signal is too weak, or there may be too much interference. It is suggested to search and store the stations manually.

1.Do not drop or damage the device, avoid contact with water.

1.The battery may explode if handled in an improper way.

2.You can only use the same type of battery.

5.When going onto an aircraft, do not place the battery into the checked-in luggage; place it into your cabin luggage..
