BATTERIES
Remove the battery compartment's cover by pushing
the cover in the direction of arrow. Install two 'AA'
batteries, according to the polarity symbols (+ and -)
marked next to the compartment. For easy removal,
place the batteries on top of lift-out ribbon.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Press the POWER/SLEEP button for about 3 seconds,
then release. Note that symbol ' ' appears in the display.
2. Switch the selector to select the frequency that you
prefer among: FM - MW - SW 1..10.
3. Adjust the volume using the VOLUME control.
4. Turn the TUNING control to tune the station you
want to listen to. The display shows the available
frequencies.
NOTES ON RECEPTION
Extend and steer the telescopic antenna to improve the
signal quality for FM and SW reception.
EARPHONE
Connect the earphone to jack. When the earphone are
connected, the speaker is excluded.
TIME SETTING
1. Press the POWER/SLEEP button to turn the radio off.
2. Press the TIME SET button for htree seconds, then
release it. the time display will flash.
3. While it is flashing press the HOUR and MINUTE buttons
to set the correct time.
4. After setting the correct time, immediately press the TIME
SET button to finalize the entry.
NOTE: If the TIME SET button is not pressed, the display
will automatically finalize the entry after about three seconds.
While setting the time, the HOUR and MINUTE buttons can
be pressed to advance the time faster.

ALARM SETTING
1. Turn off the radio.
2. Press the AL. SET button for htree seconds or until the time
digits start flashing, then release it.
3. While it is flashing press the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to
set the alarm-on time, then immediately press the AL. SET
button.
ALARM ACTIVATION
There are two methods for the alarm activation.
METHOD 1:
1. Switch RADIO the ALARM MODE.
2. Press once the AL.ON/OFF button to activate the alarm.
The alarm-on symbol will be displayed.
3. The radio will turn on at the programmed time.
METHOD 2:
1. Switch BUZZER the ALARM MODE.
2. Press once the AL.ON/OFF button to activate the alarm.
The alarm-on symbol will be displayed.
2. The radio will give the alarm sounds at the alarm-on time.
Note:
1. Please select your desired frequency before you turn on
the alarm function.
2. The radio will automatically turn off after playing for 30
minutes.
3. To turn off the radio before it turns off automatically, press
the POWER/SLEEP button.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
When the alarm activates and turns the radio on, the alarm
activation symbol appears flasing in the display. While it
flashing, press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button. The radio will turn
off and the turn on again in 10 minutes. This process can be
repeated 3 times.
SLEEP FUNCTION
Perform a quick, short press of the POWER/SLEEP button.
1.
This turns the radio on with '60' in the display and causes
the radio to shut off automatically after 60 minutes. The
sleep timer symbol also appears in the display.
2.To change the radio amount of minutes that radio plays
before automatically shutting off, press the POWER/SLEEP
button to switch on the radio. After 60 appears, immediately
do quick, short, repeated the POWER/SLEEP button until the
desired. Note that the sleep timer changes from 60 - 45 - 30
- 15 - 10 - 05 - 120 - 90 - 75 minutes, with each successive
press.
LIGHT FUNCTION
1. To temporarily light the display, perform a quick, short press
on the LIGHT/SNOOZE button. The light automatically turns
off after three seconds.
2. To permanently light the display, press and hold LIGHT/
SNOOZE button for more than one second. The light will be
turned on until the LIGHT/SNOOZE button is pressed again.
CAUTION: leaving the light permanently on will drain the
batteries more rapidly.
USING THE LOCK BUTTON
1. Turn off the radio
2.Press and hold the LOCK button for more than one
second oruntil the lock symbol ' ' appears in the display.
3. Short press the LOCK button, the symbol ' '
appear in the display, the lock feature is deactivaed.
