WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN

Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen, noch zu einem anderen
Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer
Wärmequelle.
Lassen Sie den Wasserkocher abkühlen und ziehen Sie den
Stecker aus der Steckdose bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen

Gerät oder knicken Sie diese nicht.
Stellen Sie das Gerät bzw. den Sockel auf eine stabile,
ebene Fläche.
Ist Ihr Modell mit einem separaten Sockel oder einer
abtrennbaren Anschlussleitung ausgestattet, so entfernen
Sie diese Teile bevor Sie den Wasserkocher mit Wasser füllen.
Ist Ihr Wasserkocher mit einer festen Anschlussleitung
ausgestattet, ziehen Sie dann erst den Stecker aus der
Steckdose, bevor Sie den Wasserkocher füllen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher unterhalb der
Maximummarkierung gefüllt wird. Überprüfen Sie stets ob
der Wasserstand die Maximummarkierung nicht
überschreitet. Wenn Sie zuviel Wasser einfüllen, kann der
Wasserkocher überkochen und kochendes Wasser kann
herausspritzen.
Bei Gebrauch des Gerätes sollte der Deckel sachgemäß
geschlossen sein. Öffnen Sie erst dann den Deckel, wenn
sich der Wasserkocher selbst abgeschaltet hat.

Ist Ihr Wasserkocher mit einem separaten Sockel
ausgestattet, so darf der Wasserkocher nur mit diesem

ANWENDUNGSBEREICH/TÄTIGKEITSBEREICH
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben.
Dieses Gerät ist bestimmt für Haushaltsanwendungen und ähnliche Nutzanwendungen

ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor der ersten Benutzung, oder nach dem Entkalken des Wasserkochers, kochen Sie bitte
frisches Wasser auf und gießen Sie das aufgekochte Wasser weg. Wiederholen Sie das Ganze 3
mal. Anschließend spülen Sie bitte den Wasserkocher kalt aus.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Entfernen Sie immer den Wasserkocher von dem Sockel, bevor Sie ihn mit Wasser füllen.
Öffnen Sie den Deckel in dem Sie den Freigabeknopf drücken und füllen Sie den Behälter
mit kaltem Wasser. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher zwischen der Maximum- und
Minimummarkierung, die auf dem Wassertank zu sehen sind, gefüllt wird.
Schließen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie ihn nach unten drücken, bis Sie einen Klick hören.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass er richtig geschlossen ist.

Platzieren Sie das Gerät auf dem Sockel und stecken den Stecker in die Steckdose. Es
ertönt ein Signalton und im Display wird die aktuelle Wassertemperatur angezeigt. Wenn
keine Anzeige auf dem Display erkennbar ist, platzieren Sie den Wasserkocher erneut auf
dem Sockel oder überprüfen Sie ob er richtig auf dem Sockel steht.
Nach dem Betätigen des Ein-/Ausschalters wird die Grundeinstellung "100" angezeigt. Sie
können nun Ihre gewünschte Wassertemperatur von 40° bis 95°C durch Drücken der “+”
oder ”-“ Taste in 5°-Schritten vorwählen. Wenn Sie die Grundeinstellung nicht ändern
beginnt der Kochvorgang. Öffnen Sie den Deckel nicht, während das Wasser kochend
heiß ist. Auch während des Erhitzens des Wassers können Sie durch Betätigen der beiden
Temperatur-Einstelltasten die Wassertemperatur vorwählen. Die Wassertemperatur kann
zwischen 40°C und 95°C eingestellt werden. Wenn das Wasser die gewünschte
Temperatur erreicht hat, zeigt das LED-Display die aktuelle Wassertemperatur an. Das LEDDisplay zeigt die tatsächliche Temperatur entsprechend Änderungen während des
Kochprozesses an.
Wenn Sie keine Temperatureinstellung vornehmen, wird das Wasser bis 100°C erhitzt. Der
Wasserkocher schaltet sich automatisch ab, sobald das Wasser kocht. Sie können ihn
jederzeit ausschalten, indem Sie den Schalter betätigen.
Wenn Sie Wasser ein zweites Mal kochen wollen, nachdem der Wasserkocher automatisch
ausgeschaltet ist, lassen Sie zuerst das Wasser abkühlen. Danach schalten Sie das Gerät
wieder ein.
Wenn Sie die Warmhaltefunktion nutzen wollen, können Sie Ihre gewünschte
Wassertemperatur von 40° bis 95°C durch Betätigen der “+” oder ”-“ Taste in 5°-Schritten
vorwählen. Erscheint auf dem Display "b40", wurde die Warmhalte-Funktion bereits
aktiviert. Im Display blinkt die aktuelle Wassertemperatur und der Wasserkocher beginnt
mit dem Erwärmen des Wassers.
Möglichkeit 2: betätigen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter und halten Sie ihn 3 Sekunden gedrückt
bis im Display „b40“ erscheint. Das Display blinkt und sie können nun Ihre gewünschte
Wassertemperatur von 40° bis 95°C durch Betätigen der “+” oder ”-“ Taste in 5°-Schritten
vorwählen und der Wasserkocher beginnt mit dem Erwärmen des Wassers.
Im Display wird während des Aufheizens die aktuelle Wassertemperatur angezeigt. Nach
dem das Wasser 100°C erreicht hat, schaltet sich das Gerät aus. Wenn die
Wassertemperatur unter die eingestellte Temperatur fällt, schaltet sich das Gerät wieder
an. Wird die voreingestellte Temperatur erreicht, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus.
Die Warmhaltefunktion arbeitet 2 Stunden. Nach 2 Stunden schaltet das Gerät sich
automatisch ab.
Empfehlungen zum Teekochen
Es gibt viele verschiedene Teesorten, und jede von ihnen hat seinen eigenen Geschmack und
optimale Wassertemperatur und Ziehzeit. Die empfohlene Temperatur- und Ziehzeit finden Sie
in der Tabelle:

ÜBERHITZUNGSSCHUTZ
Der Wasserkocher ist mit einem Trockengehschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät abschaltet,
wenn es versehentlich ohne Wasser eingeschaltet wurde.
Falls dies vorkommt, schalten Sie das Gerät aus. Warten Sie ca. 10 Minuten und gießen Sie
kaltes Wasser in den Wasserkocher. Dies reicht, um den Trockengehschutz auszuschalten.
Der Wasserkocher wird danach wieder normal funktionieren.
Sollte das Problem weiterhin bestehen, wenden Sie sich an den nächsten Kundendienst.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
Vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
Verwenden Sie ein feuchtes Tuch zum Reinigen. Ablagerungen an den Innenwänden
können mit einer weichen Bürste entfernt werden. Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe oder
scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
Den Wasserkocher niemals in Flüssigkeiten tauchen oder unter fließendem Wasser
reinigen.
FILTER
Ihr Gerät ist mit einem Filter ausgerüstet. Überprüfen Sie daher den korrekten Gebrauch
des Filters.
Wenn der Deckel geöffnet ist, können Sie den Partikelfilter entfernen, indem Sie ihn
herausziehen und unter fließendem Wasser reinigen.
Es ist notwendig, den Filter regelmäßig zu reinigen.
ENTKALKEN
Das Gerät sollte erst dann entkalkt werden, wenn Kalkansatz im Wasserbehälter sichtbar wird.
Sollten Verkalkungen auftreten, verwenden Sie zur Beseitigung handelsübliche
Entkalkungsmittel.
Beachten Sie beim Entkalken:
Füllen Sie zuerst Wasser in das Gerät, dann das Entkalkungsmittel.
Dosieren Sie die Entkalkungsmittel nicht zu stark! Beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung
der Entkalkungsmittel.
Verwenden Sie bei der Entkalkung mit Essig-Essenz max. 2-3ml.
Vorsicht, beim Aufkochen kann die Mischung schäumen!
Spülen Sie den Behälter nach der Entkalkung mit klarem Wasser aus.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the
appliance, and always follow the safety and operating
instructions.
Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years
old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe
use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years
and supervised. Never leave the appliance and its cord

Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a
dry environment.
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the
producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and
risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure
the cord cannot get caught in any way. Stand the
appliance on a table or flat surface. Do not wind the cord
around the appliance and do not bend it.
If your type of appliance has a separate base or a
detachable cord, remove them from the water cooker
when filling it. If your appliance has a fixed cord, unplug it
before filling it.
Always fill under the maximum mark. The water must never
be above the maximum mark. Do not overfill the jug kettle
as boiling water might overflow.
When using the appliance, make sure the lid is closed
correctly. Never raise the lid when the jug kettle is in use and
when there are risks of hot water projection due to the
bubbling.
Be careful not to get burned by the hot steam that
evaporates when the water is boiling and especially when
you open the lid.
Use only the base that is supplied with the jug kettle.
Should the symbol be indicated on a certain surface,
you need to be careful when handling the product. This
symbol means “CAUTION, this surface may get very hot
during use”.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an
external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.

FIELD OF APPLICATION/OF OPERATION
Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
This appliance is intended to be used for domestic applications and similar applications
such as:
BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
For the perfect taste, operate the jug kettle with fresh water in order to clean any residue left
from the manufacturing process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the process 3
times with fresh water, before rinsing.
OPERATION
Kitchen corners reserved for personnel in shops, offices and other professional
environments.
Farms.
The use by clients of hotels, motels and other environments with a residential
character.
Environments of the “bed and breakfast” type.
Always remove the jug from the power base before filling it or before any operation.
Open the lid and fill the jug with fresh water, paying attention not to fill under the minimum
mark and above the maximum mark on the water level indicator.
Close the lid by pressing it down until you hear a click. Make sure it closes correctly.
Put the jug onto the power base, plug into the wall socket and a beep will sound. If it does
not come on, check if the kettle is correctly positioned on the base and check if the base is
plugged in.
After pressing the ON/OFF button, "100" will appear. You can choose the temperature that
you need by pressing the “+” or ”-“ button, in 5° steps from 40 to 95°C. If no need the water
begins to heat up. DO NOT open the lid while the water is boiling. During the water boiling
process you can choose the temperature with the decrease or increase button. The
temperature adjusting scope is from 40 to 95°C. When the water reaches the desired
temperature, the LED display indicates the current temperature. The LED display indicates
the actual temperature according to changes during the boiling process.
The jug kettle will switch off automatically when the water is boiling. However, you can stop
the appliance any time by putting the switch in the off-position.

If you want to switch on the “KEEP WARM FUNCTION” you can choose a temperature
between 40°C and 95°C in 5° steps by pressing the “+” or ”-“ button firstly. The display
appears "b40” which means you enter the "keep warm mode" already, the kettle starts to
boil and the actual temperature flashes until the water is boiled (100°C), and then the
power goes off.
Option 2: press the ON/OFF switch and keep it pressed for 3 seconds until the display
appears "b40", the display flash and you can choose a temperature between 40°C and

The display keeps showing the actual water temperature during the process. After the water

Preparing tea recommendation
There are many kinds of tea leaves and each of them has its own taste and optimal water
temperature and steeping time. The recommended temperature and steeping time you can
find in below table:
SAFETY CUT-OUT
This jug kettle is protected with an automatic safety device which switches the appliance
off when it is accidentally switched on without water. Please bear in mind that only the
thermostat is switched off in case of overheat, whereas the switch stays in ON-position.
In this case, unplug the appliance and wait about 10 minutes for the element to cool.
Then pour in sufficient cold water to cover the element.
The kettle may then be used as normal.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
To remove scale from the inner walls of the kettle you can use a soft brush.
Never use abrasive products.
On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.
FILTER
Your appliance is provided with a filter. When you want to boil water, settle the filter first.
When the lid is open, you can remove the particle filter by pulling it and clean it under
running water.
The filter should be rinsed clean regularly.
DESCALING
When scale becomes visible in the jug, you have to descale it. To remove scale from the jug
kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose. Make sure to use a type
recommended for plastic kettles.

When descaling, please pay attention to the following points:
First pour some water in the appliance, and add the descaling product afterwards.
Make sure to dilute the product sufficiently. Please follow the instruction manual of the
descaling product.
When using vinegar, do not use more than 2-3 ml.

appareil s’est arrêté automatiquement lors de la première utilisation, il faut tout d’abord

ceci réalisé, il suffit de placer de nouveau l’interrupteur sur sa position "marche".

Conseils pour préparer du thé
Il y a plusieurs sortes de feuilles de thé et chacune d’entre elles a son propre goût et
température d’eau et temps d’infusion optimaux. Vous trouverez la température et temps
d’infusion recommandés dans la table suivante:
FONCTIONNEMENT A VIDE
Cette bouilloire est équipée d’un système de protection contre la surchauffe qui arrête
l’appareil automatiquement si celui-ci est mis en fonctionnement à vide,
accidentellement.
Si cela arrive, débranchez l’appareil. Attendez 10 minutes avant de le remplir d’eau
froide.
Si le problème persiste, veuillez contacter le service après-vente le plus proche.

Nettoyer les parties plastiques de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon doux. Utiliser une brosse
douce pour enlever les dépôts de calcaire sur les parois intérieures.
Ne jamais utiliser de produits abrasifs.
Ne jamais plonger la bouilloire ou son socle dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
FILTRE
Votre appareil est muni d'un filtre qui doit obligatoirement être en place lorsque vous
utilisez votre appareil.
Lorsque la bouilloire est ouverte, vous pouvez retirer le filtre à particules en le tirant vers le
haut pour ensuite le nettoyer à l'eau courante.
Il est nécessaire de laver ce filtre de façon régulière pour le débarrasser notamment des
dépôts de calcaire.
DETARTRAGE
Dès que vous constatez un dépôt de calcaire dans la bouilloire, il est nécessaire de la
détartrer. Pour le détartrage de votre bouilloire, utilisez des produits spécifiques que vous
trouverez dans le commerce et suivez les consignes indiquées sur leurs emballages.
Lors du détartrage, veuillez faire attention aux points suivants:
Versez d'abord de l'eau dans la bouilloire avant d'ajouter le produit détartrant.
Assurez-vous que le produit est suffisamment dilué. Lisez le mode d'emploi du produit.
Si vous utilisez du vinaigre, n'utilisez pas plus de 2 à 3 ml.
Attention, lorsque la bouilloire chauffe, le mélange pourrait mousser!
Après le détartrage, rincez l'appareil deux fois à l'eau claire.

Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van
warmtebronnen.
Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op op een
droge plaats.
Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant

Tijdens de werking van het toestel dient het deksel correct
gesloten te zijn. Til het deksel enkel op wanneer de
waterkoker niet in werking is of wanneer er geen risico is op
spatten van kokend water.
Let erop dat u zich niet verbrandt aan de stoom die tijdens
het koken ontsnapt en vooral wanneer u het deksel opent.

Dit toestel is bestemd om te worden gebruikt voor huishoudelijke toepassingen en
gelijkaardige toepassingen zoals:
EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
Vóór de eerste ingebruikname is het noodzakelijk de waterkoker te spoelen. Vul daarvoor het
apparaat met koud water nadat u het van zijn sokkel hebt gehaald. Nooit meer water vullen
dan tot het bovenste indicatiestreepje. Het deksel goed sluiten, het apparaat weer op de
sokkel plaatsen, de stekker in het stopcontact steken en het apparaat inschakelen. Wacht tot
het water kookt, ledig de waterkoker, laat hem afkoelen, spoel hem na en herhaal alle
handelingen minstens 3 maal. Opgelet: enkel water in de waterkoker gieten.
GEBRUIK
Haal altijd de waterkoker van zijn sokkel voordat u er water in giet.
Open het deksel en vul het waterreservoir met koud water. Zorg ervoor dat de waterkoker
gevuld wordt tussen het minimum- en het maximumpeil dat op het waterpeilvenster is
aangeduid.
Sluit het deksel door het naar beneden te drukken totdat u een klik hoort. Zorg ervoor dat
het correct gesloten is.
Zet de waterkoker op de sokkel, steek de stekker in het stopcontact en dan luidt een
pieptoon. Als het toestel niet in werking treedt, controleer dan of de waterkoker correct
op de sokkel is geplaatst en of de stekker in het stopcontact steekt.
Nadat u op de aan/uit-knop heeft gedrukt, verschijnt "100" op het scherm. U kan een
temperatuur van 40 tot 95°C kiezen in stappen van 5° door op de knop “+” of ”-“ te drukken.
Als u de temperatuur niet wenst te veranderen, begint het water op te warmen. Open het
deksel nooit terwijl het water aan het koken is! Ook terwijl het water aan het koken is, kan u
de temperatuur veranderen met de verminderings- of verhogingsknop. Het
temperatuurbereik ligt tussen 40 en 95°C. Wanneer het water de gewenste temperatuur
bereikt, geeft het LED-display de huidige temperatuur weer. Het LED-display duidt de
actuele temperatuur aan naargelang de veranderingen tijdens het kookproces.
Het apparaat schakelt zich automatisch uit wanneer het kookpunt is bereikt. U kunt het
apparaat echter ook manueel uitschakelen met de schakelaar.
Keukenhoeken voorbehouden voor het personeel in winkels, kantoren en
andere professionele omgevingen.
Boerderijen.
Het gebruik door de klanten van hotels, motels en andere omgevingen met een
residentieel karakter.
Omgevingen van het gastenverblijf-type.

Als u water een tweede keer wil opwarmen, nadat het apparaat automatisch gedurende
de eerste ingebruikname uitgeschakeld is, moet het water genoeg afgekoeld zijn om een
tweede ingebruikname mogelijk te maken. U moet uiteraard ook het toestel opnieuw
aanschakelen.
Als u de warmhoudfunctie wilt aanschakelen, dan kunt u eerst een temperatuur kiezen
tussen 40°C en 95°C in stappen van 5° met de “+” of “-“ knoppen. “b40” verschijnt op het
scherm wat betekent dat de warmhoudfunctie reeds geactiveerd is. Het toestel begint op
te warmen en de actuele temperatuur flikkert tot het water is gekookt (100°C), en dan
schakelt de waterkoker zich uit.Optie 2: druk op de aan/uit-knop en houd de knop 3
seconden ingedrukt tot “b40” op het scherm verschijnt. Het scherm begint te flikkeren en
u kan nu de temperatuur veranderen met de “+” of “-“ knoppen in een temperatuur
tussen 40°C en 95°C in stappen van 5°. Het toestel begint op te warmen tot het water is
gekookt (100°C), en dan schakelt de waterkoker zich uit.
Tijdens het opwarmen toont het scherm de actuele watertemperatuur. Wanneer de
watertemperatuur daalt tot minder dan de ingestelde temperatuur, begint het apparaat
opnieuw op te warmen. Wanneer de temperatuur is gestegen tot meer dan de ingestelde
temperatuur, schakelt de waterkoker zich automatisch uit. De warmhoudfunctie is
gedurende 2 uur actief. Na 2 uur schakelt het apparaat zich automatisch uit.
Aanbevelingen voor theebereiding
Er zijn vele soorten theeblaadjes en ieder van hen heeft zijn eigen smaak en optimale
watertemperatuur en infusietijd. De aanbevolen temperatuur en infusietijd kan u in
onderstaande tabel vinden:
BEVEILIGING TEGEN OVERVERHITTING
Het apparaat is beveiligd tegen oververhitting en schakelt zich automatisch uit, mocht
het zonder water ingeschakeld worden.
Indien dit gebeurt, het toestel uitschakelen en het apparaat 10 minuten laten afkoelen.
Dit is genoeg om de beveiliging te stoppen. U kunt het apparaat dan weer gebruiken.
Als het probleem aanhoudt, neem dan contact op met de dichtstbijzijnde klantendienst.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
Altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact verwijderen en het apparaat laten afkoelen vooraleer
het te reinigen.
De kunststofdelen met een vochtige doek reinigen. Gebruik een zachte borstel om de
kalkafzetting op de binnenwanden weg te nemen.
Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen.
Dompel het apparaat of de sokkel nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.

FILTER
Het apparaat is met een filter uitgerust die absoluut op zijn plaats moet zijn wanneer u het
apparaat gebruikt.
Wanneer het deksel geopend is, kan u de kalkfilter wegnemen en schoonmaken door
hem onder stromend water af te spoelen.
Het is noodzakelijk de filter regelmatig te reinigen om onder andere kalkdeeltjes te
verwijderen.
ONTKALKEN
Wanneer kalkaanslag in de waterkoker zichtbaar wordt, moet u het toestel ontkalken. Gebruik
voor het ontkalken van uw waterkoker enkel producten die hiervoor in de vakhandel
verkrijgbaar zijn. Volg de gebruiksaanwijzing van het product.
Gelieve bij het ontkalken op de volgende punten te letten:
Giet eerst water in het toestel, en daarna pas het ontkalkingsmiddel.
Zorg ervoor dat u het product genoeg verdunt. Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing van het
ontkalkingsmiddel.
Indien u azijn gebruikt, gelieve niet meer dan 2 à 3 ml te gebruiken.
Opgelet, bij het koken zou het mengsel kunnen schuimen!
Spoel de waterkoker na de ontkalking 2 keer met zuiver water.
MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2012/19/EU
Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Daarom mag uw apparaat,
zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool , niet met
het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel naar een
gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het overeenkomstig de
richtlijn hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of voor andere doeleinden gebruikt zal worden.
ErP-verordening – EU-richtlijn 1275/2008
Wij, Team Kalorik Group SA/NV, bevestigen hierbij dat ons product voldoet aan de vereisten
van richtlijn 1275/2008/EU. Ons product beschikt niet over een stand-bystand (slaapstand),
want het schakelt zich volledig uit onmiddellijk nadat de werking is beëindigd en verbruikt dan
bijgevolg geen elektriciteit!
De handleiding is op simpele aanvraag ook verkrijgbaar in elektronisch formaat bij de
