BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Slide the battery lid in
the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert one AAA battery
with correct polarity shown
in the compartment.
3. Close the lid of compartment.
POWER INDICATION
The battery power is divided into 3 levels,
when appears in the display, the unit will
turn off automatically. Normally, replace
battery when appears in the display.
Battery replacement has to be operated when the
unit is off.
place the battery within 10
seconds to prevent stored memories losing.
When the unit is not being used for a long period
of time, remove the battery to avoid damage from
battery leakage.
If you replace battery with the unit on,
all preset memories will lost immediately.

SET SLEEP TIME
When the unit is off, hold down the POWER
button, sleep indicator flashes, and sleep
time changes circularly among100, 90, 20,
10, OFF. When it changes to your desired
sleep time, release the POWER button, the
unit will shut off automatically when the set
time reaches.
BAND SELECTION
After turn on the radio, press band button
repeatedly to select band between AM and
FM, the corresponding band appears in the
display.

BEFORE OPERATING
1. Before turn on the unit, check if the battery
installed in correct polarity.
2. Check LOCK switch if appears in
the display, the unit is locked. Unlock the
unit by push the switch to right side.
TURN ON / OFF THE RADIO
1. Power on / off
Press POWER button to turn on the radio
manually, the radio will receive the last
channel you ever heard. After listening,
press POWER button again to turn it off.
2. Sleep
Sleep time can be set with
indicator constantly
displays. When the setting
time reaches, the unit will
turn off automatically.
(Sleep time setting refer to Page 3.)

SETTING CURRENT TIME
Current time displays when the unit is off.
Hold down MEMORY/ TIME SET button
for 2 seconds, current time flashed for 5
seconds, while it is flashing , adjust Hr+
and Min.- button to adjust hour and
minute, then press button to confirm.

When listening to a stereo reception, normally
switch STEREO/MONO to stereo. If the
stereo reception is too weak or noisy, set the
selector to MONO. BASS can be selected by
press BASS button.
STEREO: strong signal broadcast, music,
FM stereo broadcast.
MONO: weak signal broadcast, voice
program, mono broadcast.

USING EARPHONES
Before turn on the unit, connect the earphone
to the earphone jack .

If the unit operates erratically, press RESET
button to resume normal operation.
Reset function will erase all of the memories
including clock setting. Time converts to
default setting O OO, preset stations need to
be re-stored.

NOTES ON EARPHONES
Avoid using earphones at high volume, if you
experience a ringing in your ears, reduce volume
or discontinue use.
Shut down the radio before sleeping.
Do not use earphones while driving or cycling, it
can also be potentially dangerous to play your
earphones at high volume while walking,
especially at pedestrian crossing.
