OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR STREAMLIGHT WAYPOINT® LITHIUM ION
RECHARGEABLE
Thank you for selecting the Waypoint® Lithium Ion Rechargeable, a truly remarkable portable
light. As with any professional tool, reasonable care and maintenance of this product will provide
years of dependable service. Please read this manual before using your Waypoint® Lithium Ion
Rechargeable. It includes important safety and operating instructions and should be saved.
SAFETY
WARNING: Use of light in “strobe” mode may cause seizure in persons with photosensitive
epilepsy.
A. While Eye Damage from the Waypoint® Lithium Ion Rechargeable is unlikely, YOU SHOULD
NOT STARE INTO THE BEAM.
CAUTION: LED RADIATION
(RG-2): Do not stare into beam. May be harmful to eyes.
B. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. This manual contains important safety and operating
instructions for your Waypoint® Lithium Ion Rechargeable light and charger.
C. Before using the light, read all instructions.
D. CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or personal injury, do not attempt to use
the charger to recharge any other product. Likewise, do not attempt to charge the Waypoint®
Lithium Ion rechargeable with any other charger.
E. Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the charger by the cord or yank the cord to disconnect it
from a receptacle. Do not use a damaged charger. Have damaged cords or plug s replaced
immediately.
F. Plug AC charger directly into an electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
G. Do not try to repair the light or charger yourself. Take it to a qualified service facility or return it
to the factory.
Before using the light for the first time, you must fully charge the battery.
Important:
Charging temperature is between 20ºF and 115ºF. A safety circuit prevents charge
outside of that range.
There is no danger of overcharge. A safety circuit is employed to prevent over charging
the battery.
Typical charge time is (4) four hours.
Battery charging instructions:
Rotate the charge port cover on the back of the light approximately 90º, or until the cover
tether is in a vertical position. Pull the cover out of the slot.
Plug the AC charger into a wall receptacle.
Plug the barrel connector of the charge cord into the female charge port on the light.
The battery charge indicator LED will light up in the window next to the charge port.
Red = Charging; Green = Battery is fully charged.
When the battery is charged, remove the charge cord, and replace the charge port cover.
Align the straight sides of the cover with the slot, push the cover into the hole, press
down and rotate the cover 90º to maintain a water tight seal.
Operating the Light:
The trigger switch is located on the pistol grip of the light. Depress the trigger slightly for
momentary operation or depress the switch until it clicks to lock the light in the on
position. To turn the light off, depress the switch until it clicks and release the trigger.
The mode switch is located on the rear of the light. Rotate the mode switch to select
high, low, or emergency flash mode.
WARNING: Be sure to use only genuine Streamlight® replacement parts.
Important: To assure product safety and reliability, repairs should be performed at the Streamlight
factory. Always use Streamlight approved replacement parts.

Gracias por seleccionar la Waypoint® de ión-litio recargable, una linterna portátil realmente
destacable. Tal y como ocurre con cualquier herramienta profesional, el mantenimiento y cuidado
razonable de este producto brindará años de servicio fiable. Lea este manual antes de usar su
Waypoint® de ión-litio recargable. Incluye instrucciones importantes de funcionamiento y
seguridad, y deberá conservarse.
SEGURIDAD
ADVERTENCIA: El uso de la linterna en modo “estroboscópico” puede provocar ataqu es
epilépticos a personas con epilepsia fotosensible.
A. Si bien es improbable que la Waypoint® de ión-litio recargable produzca daño ocular, NO

B. GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES. Este manual incluye instrucciones de funcionamiento y

D. PRECAUCIÓN: Para reducir el riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica o lesiones persona les,
no trate de usar el cargador para recargar ningún otro producto. De igual modo, no trate de
cargar la Waypoint® de ión-litio recargable con ningún otro cargador.
E. Sea cuidadoso con el cable.
No transporte nunca el cargador por el cable ni dé un tirón para desenchufarlo de un receptáculo.
No ponga en funcionamiento ningún cargador que esté dañado. Sustituya de inmediato los
enchufes o cables estropeados.
F. Enchufe los cargadores de CA directamente en la toma de corriente. No utilice un alargador.
G. No trate de reparar la linterna o el cargador usted mismo. Llévelos a un centro de servicio
cualificado o devuélvalos a fábrica.
Antes de usar la linterna por primera vez deberá cargar completamente la batería.
Importante:
La temperatura de carga está entre -6,6º C Y 46,1º C (20º F y 115º F). Un circuito de
seguridad evita la carga fuera de ese rango.
No existe peligro de sobrecarga. Se utiliza un circuito de seguridad para evitar la
sobrecarga de la batería.
El tiempo de carga característico es de cuatro (4) horas.
