1 INTRODUCTION
Thank you for your purchase. The information contained in
this manual will help you receive maximum performance and
satisfaction from your STIHL charger and, if followed,
reduce the risk of injury from its use.
SAVE THIS MANUAL!
Special safety precautions must be observed to
reduce the risk of personal injury.
Read this instruction manual thoroughly before
use and periodically thereafter. Follow all safety
precautions. Careless or improper use of the
charger can cause serious or fatal injury.
Do not lend or rent your charger without this instruction
manual. Allow only persons who fully understand the
information in this manual to operate the charger.

5 IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 Introduction
This section contains the prescribed general safety
warnings and instructions for battery chargers. Additional
important warnings and instructions are provided in
subsequent sections of this manual.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE
CHARGER!
WARNING
￭ When using battery chargers, basic safety precautions
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock and personal injury and property damage,
including the following:
1)SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS – This manual contains
important safety instructions for the STIHL SL 100 battery
charger.
2)Before using the battery charger, read all instructions and
cautionary markings on the charger, battery and product
using the battery.
3)CAUTION – To reduce the risk of injury, use the STIHL
SL 100 to charge only genuine STIHL AAI series
batteries. Other types of batteries may burst causing
serious personal injury and property damage.
5.2 Intended Use
WARNING
￭ The STIHL SL 100 charger is designed for charging
STIHL AAI series batteries, that are so depleted they can
no longer be charged in the docking station. The SL 100
can reactivate AAI batteries. Charging in the SL 100 will
restore most, but not all, batteries and enable future
charging in the docking station.
5 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
￭ Improper use could result in personal injury or property
damage, including damage to the charger.
– Use the charger only as described in this manual.
– Never attempt to modify or override the charger's
controls or safety devices in any way.
– Never use a charger that has been modified or
altered from its original design.
5.3 Warnings and Instructions
WARNING
￭ To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and other
personal injury or property damage:
– Before using the charger, read this instruction
manual and all instructions and warnings on the
charger, battery and product using the battery.
– Use the STIHL SL 100 to charge only genuine STIHL
AAI series batteries. Other batteries may burst,
catch fire or explode, resulting in personal injury and
property damage.
– Always use the proper adapter for your AAI series
battery.
– For indoor use only.
– Keep the charger dry. Protect it from
rain, water, liquids and damp conditions.
Never connect a wet battery or use a wet
charger.
– Do not handle the charger, including power supply
cord and plug, with wet hands.
– Never use a damaged charger.
– Never charge malfunctioning, damaged, cracked,
leaking or deformed batteries.
– Never store the charger with the battery connected.
– Operate the charger only within the specified
ambient temperature ranges, @ 13.2.
– Keep the charger out of the reach of children.

– Always plug the charger into a properly installed
electrical outlet matching the voltage and electrical
frequency stated on the charger.
– Never use power strips to operate multiple chargers
or other devices from the same outlet or on the same
circuit.
– Do not operate a charger that has received a sharp
or heavy blow, has been dropped or is otherwise
damaged in any way.
– Do not attempt to repair, open or disassemble the
charger. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
￭ To reduce the risk of electric shock or fire from a short
circuit:
– Make sure the battery and charger are completely
dry before starting the charging process.
– Never bridge the contacts of the charger with wires
or other metallic objects.
￭ The charger heats up during the charging process. To
reduce the risk of fire:
– Do not operate on a combustible surface (e.g.,
paper, cardboard, textiles) or in a combustible
environment.
– Allow the charger to cool down normally. Do not
cover it.
￭ Chargers can produce sparks which may ignite
combustible gases, liquids, vapors, dusts or other
combustible materials. To reduce the risk of fire and
explosion:
– Do not operate in a location where combustible
gases, liquids, vapors, dusts or other combustible
materials are present.
￭ Using a damaged power supply cord or plug may result in
fire, electric shock and other personal injury or property
damage. To reduce these risks:
– Check the charger’s power supply cord
and plug regularly for damage. If
damaged, immediately disconnect the
plug from the electrical outlet.
– Have a damaged power supply cord replaced by an
authorized STIHL servicing dealer.
– Unplug the power supply cord from the outlet when
the charger is not in use.
– Never jerk the power supply cord to disconnect it
from the electrical outlet. To unplug, grasp the plug,
not the power supply cord.
– Do not use the power supply cord for carrying or
hanging up the charger.
– Make sure the power supply cord is located or
marked so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over,
come in contact with sharp objects or moving parts,
or otherwise be subjected to damage or stress.
￭ An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely
necessary. Overloading an extension cord can result in
overheating and fire. If an extension cord must be used:
– Use only a properly wired 16 gauge (AWG 16) or
heavier gauge extension cord and the cord length
should not exceed 75 ft.
– Never connect more than one charger or other
device to an extension cord.
– Never use an extension cord with a wattage rating
lower than the wattage on your charger’s rating
plate.
– Never use an extension cord if the blades on its plug
are different from the blades on the charger plug in
number, size or shape.
– Do not link (chain) extension cords.

￭ A typical household electrical circuit is between 15 and
20 amps. A single SL 100 draws approximately 4.0 amps.
To reduce the risk of fire from overloading an electrical
circuit:
– Ensure the electrical system is rated to withstand the
expected electrical draw before charging.
– Charge multiple batteries one at a time or on
separate circuits, unless you know your circuit can
handle the total expected draw from multiple
chargers.
￭ In case of fire, or if the charger or the battery it is charging
emits smoke, an unusual smell, feels hot or appears
abnormal in any other way:
– Immediately disconnect the charger from the outlet
and prepare to contact the authorities in the event of
fire or explosion.
– Have a damaged power supply cord replaced by an
authorized STIHL servicing dealer.
￭ Improper storage can result in unauthorized use, damage
to the charger, and an increased risk of fire, electric shock
and other personal injury or property damage.
– Before storing, always unplug the charger from the
electrical outlet and disconnect the battery.
– Store the charger in the case provided, indoors in a
dry, secure place that cannot be accessed by
children or other unauthorized users.

7.1 LEDs on the Charger
WARNING
￭ There are no user-authorized repairs for the charger. To
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or other personal
injury and property damage:
– Do not attempt to repair, open or disassemble the
charger. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
– Users may carry out only the cleaning and
maintenance operations described in this manual.
￭ To reduce the risk of electric shock:
– Unplug the charger from the electrical outlet before
inspecting or cleaning the charger.
– Regularly check the electrical contacts of the
charger and ensure that the insulation of the power
cord and plug are in good condition and show no
signs of aging (brittleness), wear or damage.
Two LEDs show the status of the charger and the battery.
LED "A" (1) can glow green or glow and flash red.
LED "B" (2) can glow green.
If LED "A" (1) glows green continuously: the
battery is charging.
If LED "A" (1) is off: the battery is fully
charged.

If LED "A" (1) flashes red: there is no
electrical contact between the battery and the
charger. Disconnect and reconnect the
battery.

The battery has a malfunction and must be
replaced.

checked before use.
If LED "A" (1) glows red: the battery is too
hot or too cold for charging. Allow the battery
to warm up or cool down gradually at an
ambient temperature of about 50 °F to 68 °F
(10 °C to 20 °C).
If LED "B" (2) glows green: the battery is
sufficiently charged and can be used again.

8 CHARGING THE BATTERY
8.1 Setting up the Charger
WARNING
A typical household electrical circuit is between 15 and
20 amps. A single SL 100 draws approximately 4.0 amps.
To reduce the risk of fire from overloading an electrical
circuit:
► Ensure the electrical system is rated to withstand the
expected electrical draw before charging your battery.
► Do not use more than one charger at a time at the same
circuit. Use other chargers on separate circuits, unless
you know your circuit can handle the total expected draw
from multiple chargers.
WARNING
Since the battery and charger heat up during the charging
process, do not operate the charger on a combustible
surface or in a location where combustible gases, liquids,
vapors, dusts or other materials are present, @ 5.

► Insert the plug (3) into a properly installed electrical
outlet (4) matching the voltage and electrical frequency
stated on the charger's rating plate.
The charger runs a self-test immediately after it is plugged
in. The LED "A" (1) will glow green for about 1 second, then
it will glow red briefly before going out. Once the LED "A" (1)
goes out, the self-test is complete and the charger is ready
to charge the battery.

► Position the power supply cord (2) so that it will not be
stepped on, tripped over, come in contact with sharp
objects or moving parts or otherwise be subjected to
damage or stress.
8.2 Charging
WARNING
STIHL batteries contain safety features and devices which,
if damaged, may allow the battery to generate heat, rupture,
leak, ignite or explode. Never charge a malfunctioning,
damaged, cracked, leaking or deformed battery or use a
charger that has been damaged, @ 5. Make sure the
charger and the battery to be charged are both completely
dry before charging, @ 5. Follow all product-specific
warnings and instructions accompanying your battery.
To charge the battery:

► Disconnect the power supply cord from the electrical
outlet when the charger is not in use for extended periods
of time.
Operate the charger only indoors in a dry room. Observe the
ambient temperature ranges, @ 13.2.
The battery heats up during operation. If a hot battery is
connected with the charger, it may be necessary for it to cool
down before charging starts. The charging process begins
automatically after the battery is cooled down sufficiently.
9 TRANSPORTING
9.1 Charger
To properly transport the charger:
► Disconnect the charger from the electrical outlet.
► Disconnect the battery from the charger.
► Transport the charger in the case supplied.
► When transporting the charger in a vehicle, ensure that it
is secured in a manner that prevents turnover, impact and
damage.
10STORING
► Attach the appropriate adapter (2, 3 or 4) the the
charger (5).
► Connect the battery (1) to the adapter.
LED "A" (6) glows green while the battery is charging.
► When LED "B" (7) glows green, the battery is sufficiently
charged so that it can be used again in the STIHL robotic
mower and receive software updates. The battery can be
disconnected from the adapter.
► Once LED "A" (6) goes out, the charging process is
complete and the battery is fully charged. The battery can
be disconnected from the adapter.

To properly store the charger:
► Disconnect the battery from the charger.
► Disconnect the charger from the electrical outlet.
► Store the charger in a secure location indoors.
► Keep it out of the reach of children and other unauthorized
persons.
► Never hang the charger by its power supply cord,
connecting cord or adapter. Store the charger in the case
supplied with the unit.

11.1 Charger
WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury from short circuit and
fire, do not attempt to repair, open or disassemble the
charger. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Always
unplug the charger before cleaning.
To properly care for your charger:
► Always unplug the charger before cleaning.
► Clean the charger's polymer components with a slightly
dampened cloth. Do not use detergents or solvents. They
may damage the polymer components.
► Have a damaged power supply cord replaced by an
authorized STIHL servicing dealer.
► Have worn, missing or damaged safety labels replaced by
an authorized STIHL servicing dealer.
If you make a warranty claim for a component that has not
been serviced or maintained properly, coverage may be
denied.

► Check LED "A". If the LED "A" does not continues
to flash red: connect the battery.
► If the LED "A" continues to flash red, do not
attempt to use the battery.
The battery has a malfunction and must be
replaced.
► Disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.
► Disconnect the power supply cord from the
charger.
► Wait 1 minute.
► Connect the power supply cord with the charger.
► Insert the plug in an electrical outlet.
► If the LED "A" continues to flash red, do not
attempt to use the charger.
The charger has a malfunction and must be
replaced.

parts. Genuine STIHL parts can be identified by the STIHL

5.1 Introduction
Ce chapitre contient les consignes et instructions de
sécurité générales règlementaires pour les chargeurs de
batterie. Des avertissements et instructions importants
supplémentaires se trouvent dans les sections suivantes du
présent manuel.
LISEZ TOUTES LES INSTRUCTIONS AVANT D’UTILISER
LE CHARGEUR !
AVERTISSEMENT
￭ Lorsque vous utilisez un chargeur, vous devez toujours
respecter les consignes de sécurité fondamentales afin de
réduire le risque d’incendie, d’électrocution et de
blessures ainsi que de dommages matériels, dont :
1)CONSERVEZ CES INSTRUCTIONS - Ce manuel contient
des instructions de sécurité et d'utilisation importantes
pour le chargeur de batterie STIHL SL 100.
2)Lisez toutes les instructions et les avertissements sur le
chargeur, la batterie et le produit qui utilise la batterie
avant d’utiliser le chargeur de batterie.
3)ATTENTION – Pour réduire tout risque de blessure,
utilisez le STIHLSL 100 pour charger uniquement des
batteries de la série STIHL AAI authentiques. D’autres
types de batterie peuvent éclater et provoquer des lésions
corporelles graves et des dommages matériels.
5.2 Utilisation prévue
AVERTISSEMENT
￭ Le chargeur STIHL SL 100 est conçu pour charger les
batteries STIHL de la série AAI, qui sont tellement
épuisées qu'elles ne peuvent plus être rechargées dans la
station d'accueil. Le SL 100 peut réactiver les batteries
AAI. Le chargement dans le SL 100 permettra de
restaurer la plupart des batteries, mais pas toutes, et de
les recharger ultérieurement dans la station d'accueil.
￭ Un usage incorrect risque d’entraîner des lésions
corporelles ou des dommages matériels, y compris des
dommages au chargeur.
– Utilisez le chargeur uniquement comme décrit dans
ce manuel.
– N’essayez jamais de modifier ou de neutraliser
d’une manière quelconque les dispositifs de
commande et de sécurité du chargeur.
– N’utilisez jamais un chargeur qui a été modifié ou
transformé par rapport à sa conception originale.
5.3 Avertissements et instructions
AVERTISSEMENT

– Avant d'utiliser le chargeur, lisez ce mode d'emploi

et le produit utilisant la batterie.
– Utilisez le STIHL SL 100 pour charger uniquement
des batteries de la série STIHL AAI authentiques.
D'autres batteries peuvent éclater, prendre feu ou
exploser, entraînant des dommages corporels et
matériels.
– Utilisez toujours l'adaptateur approprié pour votre
batterie de la série AAI.

jamais une batterie humide ou n'utilisez
jamais un chargeur humide.
– Ne manipulez pas le chargeur, y compris le cordon
d'alimentation et la prise, avec les mains mouillées.
– N'utilisez jamais un chargeur endommagé.
– Ne chargez jamais des batteries défectueuses,
endommagées, fissurées, fuyantes ou déformées.
– N’entreposez jamais le chargeur avec la batterie
connectée.
– Ne faites fonctionner le chargeur que dans les
plages de température ambiante spécifiées,
@ 13.2.
– Tenez le chargeur hors de portée des enfants.
– Branchez toujours le chargeur dans une prise de
courant correctement installée et correspondant à la
tension et à la fréquence électrique indiquées sur le
chargeur.
– N'utilisez jamais de barrettes d'alimentation pour
faire fonctionner plusieurs chargeurs ou autres
appareils à partir de la même prise ou sur le même
circuit.
– Ne faites pas fonctionner un chargeur qui a reçu un
coup fort ou violent, qui est tombé ou qui est
autrement endommagé de quelque manière que ce
soit.
– N’essayez pas de réparer, d’ouvrir ou de démonter
le chargeur. Aucune pièce réparable par l’utilisateur
ne s’y trouve.
￭ Pour réduire le risque de choc électrique ou d'incendie dû
à un court-circuit :
– Assurez-vous que la batterie et le chargeur sont
complètement secs avant de commencer le
processus de chargement.
– Ne court-circuitez jamais les contacts du chargeur
avec des fils ou d'autres objets métalliques.
￭ Le chargeur se réchauffe pendant le processus de
charge. Pour réduire le risque d'incendie :
– Ne travaillez pas sur une surface combustible (par
exemple, papier, carton, textiles) ou dans un
environnement combustible.
– Laissez le chargeur refroidir normalement. Ne le
couvrez pas.
￭ Les chargeurs peuvent produire des étincelles qui
peuvent enflammer des gaz, des liquides, des vapeurs,
des poussières ou d'autres matières combustibles. Pour
réduire les risques d’incendie et d’explosion :
– N'opérez pas dans un endroit où il y a des gaz, des
liquides, des vapeurs, des poussières ou d'autres
matières combustibles.
￭ L'utilisation d'un cordon d'alimentation ou d'une fiche
endommagés peut entraîner un incendie, un choc
électrique et d'autres blessures ou dommages matériels.
Pour réduire ces risques :
– Vérifiez régulièrement si le cordon
d'alimentation ou la prise du chargeur
sont endommagés. Si elle est
endommagée, débranchez
immédiatement la fiche de la prise
électrique.
– Faites remplacer un cordon d’alimentation
endommagé par un distributeur agréé STIHL.
– Débranchez le cordon d'alimentation de la prise
lorsque le chargeur n'est pas utilisé.
– Ne secouez jamais le cordon d'alimentation pour le
débrancher de la prise électrique. Pour débrancher
la prise, saisissez la fiche et non le cordon
d'alimentation.

– N'utilisez pas le cordon d'alimentation pour
transporter ou suspendre le chargeur.
– Assurez-vous que le cordon d'alimentation est situé
ou marqué de manière à ce qu'on ne puisse pas
marcher dessus, trébucher, entrer en contact avec
des objets pointus ou des pièces mobiles, ou être
soumis à des dommages ou à des contraintes.
￭ Une rallonge électrique ne doit être utilisée qu'en cas
d'absolue nécessité. La surcharge d'une rallonge peut
provoquer une surchauffe et un incendie. Si une rallonge
doit être utilisée :
– Utilisez uniquement une rallonge correctement
câblée de calibre 16 (AWG 16) ou de calibre plus
lourd et la longueur du cordon ne doit pas dépasser
75 ft.
– Ne connectez jamais plus d'un chargeur ou autre
appareil à une rallonge.
– N'utilisez jamais une rallonge dont la puissance
nominale est inférieure à la puissance indiquée sur
la plaque signalétique de votre chargeur.
– N'utilisez jamais une rallonge si les lames de sa
fiche sont différentes de celles de la fiche du
chargeur en nombre, en taille ou en forme.
– Ne connectez (enchainez) pas les câbles de
rallonge entre eux.
￭ Un circuit électrique domestique typique se situe entre 15
et 20 ampères. Un seul SL 100 consomme environ 4,0
ampères. Pour réduire le risque d'incendie dû à la
surcharge d'un circuit électrique :
– Assurez-vous que le système électrique est conçu
pour résister à la consommation électrique prévue
avant de le charger.
– Chargez plusieurs batteries une à la fois ou sur des
circuits séparés, à moins que vous ne sachiez que
votre circuit peut gérer la consommation totale
attendue de plusieurs chargeurs.
￭ En cas d'incendie, ou si le chargeur ou la batterie qu'il
charge émet de la fumée, une odeur inhabituelle, est
chaud au toucher ou semble anormal de toute autre
manière :
– Débranchez immédiatement le chargeur de la prise
et préparez-vous à contacter les autorités en cas
d'incendie ou d'explosion.

6.1 Avertissements et instructions
AVERTISSEMENT
￭ Il n'y a pas de réparations autorisées par l'utilisateur pour
le chargeur. Pour réduire les risques d’incendie,
d’électrocution ou d’autres lésions corporelles et
dommages matériels :
– N’essayez pas de réparer, d’ouvrir ou de démonter
le chargeur. Aucune pièce réparable par l’utilisateur
ne s’y trouve.
– Les utilisateurs peuvent effectuer uniquement les
opérations de nettoyage et de maintenance décrites
dans le présent manuel.
￭ Pour réduire le risque d’électrocution :
– Débranchez le chargeur de la prise électrique avant
d’examiner ou de nettoyer le chargeur.
– Vérifiez régulièrement les contacts électriques du
chargeur et assurez-vous que l'isolation du cordon
d'alimentation et de la prise sont en bon état et ne
présentent aucun signe de vieillissement (fragilité),
d'usure ou de détérioration.
– Faites remplacer un cordon d’alimentation
endommagé par un distributeur agréé STIHL.

￭ Un mauvais stockage peut entraîner une utilisation non
autorisée, des dommages au chargeur et un risque accru
d'incendie, de choc électrique et d'autres blessures ou
dommages matériels.
– Avant l’entreposage, débranchez toujours le
chargeur de la prise électrique et débranchez la
batterie.
– Rangez le chargeur dans l'étui prévu à cet effet, à
l'intérieur, sec et sûr, inaccessible aux enfants ou à
d'autres utilisateurs non autorisés.

7.1 DEL sur le chargeur
Si la DEL "A" (1) clignote en rouge : il n'y a
pas de contact électrique entre la batterie et
le chargeur. Débranchez la batterie et
rebranchez-la.
ou
La batterie est défaillante et doit être
remplacée.
ou
Il y a un dysfonctionnement du chargeur.
Faites-le vérifier avant de l'utiliser.
Si la DEL "A" (1) s'allume en rouge : la
batterie est trop chaude ou trop froide pour
être chargée. Laissez la batterie se
réchauffer ou se refroidir progressivement à
une températures ambiante d'environ 50 °F à
68 °F (10 °C à 20 °C).
Si la DEL "B" (2) s'allume en vert : la
batterie est suffisamment chargée et peut
être utilisée à nouveau.

8 CHARGE DE LA BATTERIE
8.1 Mise en place du chargeur
AVERTISSEMENT
Lisez et suivez les précautions de sécurité sur la batterie et
le chargeur ainsi que les avertissements et les instructions
Deux DEL indiquent l'état du chargeur et de la batterie. La
LED "A" (1) peut s'allumer en vert ou s'allumer et clignoter
en rouge. La DEL "B" (2) peut s'allumer en vert.
Si la DEL "A" (1) s'allume en vert en continu :
la batterie est en charge.

Si la DEL "A" (1) est éteinte : la batterie est
complètement chargée.

AVERTISSEMENT
Un circuit électrique domestique typique se situe entre 15 et
20 ampères. Un seul SL 100 consomme environ 4,0
ampères. Pour réduire le risque d'incendie dû à la surcharge
d'un circuit électrique :
► Avant de charger votre batterie, assurez-vous que le
système électrique est capable de supporter la
consommation électrique prévue.
► N'utilisez pas plus d'un chargeur à la fois sur le même
circuit. Utilisez d'autres chargeurs sur des circuits
séparés, à moins que vous ne sachiez que votre circuit
peut gérer la consommation totale attendue de plusieurs
chargeurs.
AVERTISSEMENT
Étant donné que la batterie et le chargeur chauffent pendant
le processus de charge, ne faites pas fonctionner le
chargeur sur une surface combustible ou dans un endroit où
se trouvent des gaz, des liquides, des vapeurs, des
poussières ou d'autres matériaux combustibles, @ 5.
Pour installer le chargeur :

Le chargeur effectue un autotest immédiatement après avoir
été branché. La DEL "A" (1) s'allume en vert pendant
environ 1 seconde, puis elle s'allume brièvement en rouge
avant de s'éteindre. Une fois la DEL "A" (1) éteinte, l'autotest
est terminé et le chargeur est prêt à charger la batterie.
► Positionnez le cordon d'alimentation (2) de manière à ce
qu'il ne puisse pas être piétiné, trébuché, entrer en
contact avec des objets pointus ou des pièces mobiles ou
être soumis à des dommages ou à des contraintes.
8.2 Charge
AVERTISSEMENT
Les batteries STIHL contiennent des caractéristiques et des
dispositifs de sécurité qui, s’ils sont endommagés, peuvent
amener la batterie à produire de la chaleur, se rompre, fuir,
prendre feu ou exploser. Ne chargez jamais une batterie
défectueuse, endommagée, fissurée, fuyante ou déformée
et n’utilisez jamais un chargeur qui a été endommagé, @ 5.
Assurez-vous que le chargeur et la batterie à charger sont
tous deux complètement secs avant de les charger, @ 5.
Respectez toutes les mises en garde et instructions
spécifiques au produit accompagnant votre batterie.
Pour charger la batterie :

► Insérez la fiche (3) dans une prise électrique (4)
correctement installée et correspondant à la tension et à
la fréquence électrique indiquées sur la plaque
signalétique du chargeur.

► Fixez l'adaptateur approprié (2, 3 ou 4) sur le chargeur (5).
► Connectez la batterie (1) à l'adaptateur.
La DEL "A" (6) s'allume en vert lorsque la batterie est en
charge.

► Lorsque la DEL "B" (7) s'allume en vert, la batterie est
suffisamment chargée pour pouvoir être utilisée à
nouveau dans dans le robot de tonte STIHL et recevoir les
mises à jour du logiciel. La batterie peut être déconnectée
de l'adaptateur.
► Lorsque la DEL "A" (6) s'éteint, le processus de
chargement est terminé et la batterie est entièrement
chargé. La batterie peut être déconnectée de l'adaptateur.
► Débranchez le cordon d'alimentation de la prise électrique
lorsque le chargeur n'est pas utilisé pendant de longues
périodes.
Faites fonctionner le chargeur uniquement à l'intérieur, dans
une pièce sèche. Observez les plages de température
ambiante, @ 13.2.
La batterie chauffe pendant le fonctionnement. Si vous
raccordez une batterie chaude avec le chargeur, il sera
peut-être nécessaire de la laisser refroidir avant que la
charge commence. Le processus de charge commence
automatiquement une fois que la batterie a suffisamment
refroidi.
9 TRANSPORT

10.1 Chargeur
Entreposage correct du chargeur :
► Débranchez la batterie du chargeur.
► Débranchez le chargeur de la prise électrique.
► Rangez le chargeur dans un endroit sûr à l'intérieur.
► Tenez-le hors de portée des enfants et des personnes non
autorisées.
► N'accrochez jamais le chargeur par son cordon
d'alimentation, son cordon de raccordement ou son
adaptateur. Rangez le chargeur dans l'étui fourni avec
l'appareil.

9.1 Chargeur
Pour transporter correctement le chargeur :
► Débranchez le chargeur de la prise électrique.
► Débranchez la batterie du chargeur.
► Transportez le chargeur dans l'étui fourni.
► Lorsque vous transportez le chargeur dans un véhicule,
veillez à ce qu'il soit fixé de manière à éviter les
renversements, les chocs et les dommages.

Afin de réduire le risque de blessure par court-circuit et
d'incendie, n'essayez pas de réparer, d'ouvrir ou de
démonter le chargeur. Aucune pièce réparable par
l’utilisateur ne s’y trouve. Débranchez toujours le chargeur
avant de le nettoyer.
Pour prendre soin de votre chargeur :
► Débranchez toujours le chargeur avant de le nettoyer.
► Nettoyez les composants en polymère du chargeur avec

► Laissez la batterie se réchauffer ou se refroidir
progressivement à des températures ambiantes
d'environ 50 °F à 68 °F (10 °C à 20 °C ).
► Débranchez la batterie et rebranchez-la avec le
chargeur.
► Débranchez la fiche de la prise électrique.
► Débranchez le cordon d'alimentation du chargeur.
► Attendez 1 minute.
► Branchez le cordon d'alimentation avec le
chargeur.
► Insérez la fiche dans une prise électrique.
► Vérifiez la DEL "A". Si la DEL "A" ne continue pas
à clignoter en rouge : branchez la batterie.
► Si la DEL "A" continue de clignoter en rouge,
n'essayez pas d'utiliser la batterie.
La batterie est défaillante et doit être remplacée.
► Débranchez la fiche de la prise électrique.
► Débranchez le cordon d'alimentation du chargeur.
► Attendez 1 minute.
► Branchez le cordon d'alimentation avec le
chargeur.
