Our experience in extended warranty coverage dates back to the mid 80’s. Since then, we have pioneered many new programs
designed to deliver warranties, which meet the demands of an ever-changing trucking industry.
From our first versions of the on/off-highway coverages, to our more recent vocational warranties, released in January 1997, customization and customer satisfaction, have always been our goals. The recently released warranties, covered in this Warranty
Guide, are no exception.
Moving to vocational warranties in 1997, was certainly a change from the way coverages were defined in the past. But, we considered the move as a means to significantly reduce incidents of misapplied products and customer disappointment. It has done
exactly that.
When first released, the vocational warranties were a fairly complete package, which allowed for many variations in coverage.
However, the introduction of new models and the resulting need to expand extended warranty coverages, have necessitated updates to this Dana Commercial Vehicle Warranty Guide.
Effective Date
Warranties listed in this guide are effective for vehicles placed in service after the first day for the month / year of this publication
month / year revision.
