Topic: D402 Reverse Air Differential Carriers No Longer Offered by Dana
Affected Models: All D341, D402(P), D403(P), and D451-P Family Drive Axles
Effective immediately, Dana will no longer offer D402 base service Carrier Assemblies in the Rev-Air design. The
“Standard Air” design carriers, which are more readily available, can be easily converted by simply installing a Rev-Air
lockout kit shown in the chart below. The lockout kits are simple to install and are designed for both Pump and Non-Pump
models.
