SUPERCESSIONS
New D170 & D190 power divider service parts will supersede the original part numbers. Details are
outlined in the recently issued Service Bulletin DA012016
These upgrade power divider components are to improve the durability performance of these axles.
• New service part numbers will supersede the old original service part numbers.
• Effective immediately all superseded level parts will cease to be supplied by Dana.
• New service part numbers are shown in the chart below.
• All superseded stock should be returned to Dana Australia for credit.
• New level parts outlined below should be ordered.
• Please contact Dana Customer service on 1300 00 DANA for a return authority.
132440 Input Shaft Thrust washer
131333 V-Ring Seal
513878 Manifold Parts Kit
New Part Identification.
• Thrust washer 132440-A is made from a different material and it’s in appearance has changed
mainly to a redesign of the lubrication cavities.
• The V-Ring 131333-A, is now made of a high temperature Viton material, and is brown in colour it
also comes with an O’ring also made of a high temperature Viton. This is used as a retaining
device. The O’ring must be fitted over the V-Ring as shown below.
• Manifold parts kit 513878-A now has a high temperature rated hose, there is no change to the
manifold assembly.
