This filter kit is designed for a video camera with a
30 mm diameter lens.

Warning
Caution on detaching the ND filter/
Protector

When detaching the ND filter/Protector from the
camera, avoid injury by placing a soft cloth over the
ND filter/Protector and screwing it off carefully.

(See figure A)

Features

• This ND (Neutral Density) filter enhances the
contrast of the image by restricting the amount of the
light through the lens when shooting in the bright
place.

• The protector protects the camera lens from dirt or
dust. You can usually shoot with the protector
attached to your camera.

Attaching the ND filter/protector

Attach and firmly tighten the ND filter or protector onto
the screw threads of the camera lens.
* The camera does not have to be the illustrated one.

Note: The ND filter and Protector cannot be used with other

filters or conversion lenses.

Notes on cleaning

Brush off any dust on the surface of the filter or lens
with a blower brush. Wipe off fingerprints or other
smears using the Sony LCD cleaning kit or a soft cloth
slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution.

protector

Al extraer el filtro ND o protector de la cámara,
coloque un paño suave encima de dicho filtro o
protector y desenrósquelo con cuidado para evitar
lesiones.

Características

• El filtro ND (Densidad neutral) mejora el contraste de
la imagen mediante la restricción de la cantidad de
luz que entra en el objetivo al fotografiar en lugares
con luz muy brillante.

• El protector protege el objetivo de la cámara del
polvo y la suciedad. Normalmente, podrá filmar con
dicho protector instalado en la cámara.

Instalación del protector o filtro ND

Instale y apriete con firmeza el protector o filtro ND en
la rosca de los tornillos del objetivo de la cámara.
* La cámara no tiene por qué ser la que aparece en la

ilustración.

Nota: El filtro ND y el protector no pueden utilizarse con

otros filtros ni con otras lentes de conversión.

Notas sobre la limpieza

Elimine el polvo de la superficie del filtro o del objetivo
mediante un cepillo de aire. Limpie las huellas
dactilares u otro tipo de manchas mediante el kit de
limpieza LCD de Sony o un paño suave ligeramente
humedecido con una solución detergente poco
concentrada.

Avertissement
Précautions à prendre lors du retrait
du filtre ND ou du protecteur

Lorsque vous retirez le filtre ND ou le protecteur de
l’appareil photo, recouvrez le filtre ND ou le
protecteur d’un chiffon doux et dévissez-le avec

Caractéristiques

l’image en limitant la quantité de lumière passant par
l’objectif lors d’une prise de vue dans un endroit très
lumineux.

• Le protecteur protège l’objectif de l’appareil contre la
saleté et la poussière. Il est normalement possible
d’effectuer une prise de vue pendant que le
protecteur est fixé à la caméra.

Mise en place du filtre ND ou du
protecteur

Fixez le filtre ND ou le protecteur au filetage de
l’objectif et vissez-le fermement.
* La caméra utilisée peut être différente de l’appareil

représenté dans les illustrations de ce document.

Remarque: Le filtre ND et le protecteur ne peuvent pas être

utilisés avec d’autres filtres ou objectifs de conversion.

Remarques à propos du nettoyage

Enlevez la poussière de la surface du filtre ou du
convertisseur avec une brosse-soufflet. Enlevez les
traces de doigts ou autres saletés avec le kit de
nettoyage pour écran LCD de Sony ou un chiffon doux
légèrement humidifié d'une solution détergente neutre.

Waarschuwing bij het verwijderen

Wanneer u de ND-filter/beschermer van de camera
verwijdert, pakt u de ND-filter/beschermer vast met
een zachte doek en schroeft u deze voorzichtig los om
letsel te voorkomen.

Kenmerken

• Met de ND filter (Neutral Density) vergroot u het
contrast van de afbeelding door de hoeveelheid licht
in de lens te beperken wanneer u foto’s in heldere
omgevingen maakt.

• De beschermer beschermt de cameralens tegen vuil
en stof. U kunt meestal opnemen terwijl de
beschermer op de camera is bevestigd.

De ND filter/beschermer bevestigen

Draai de ND filter of beschermer stevig vast op de
schroefdraad van de cameralens.
* De camera hoeft niet dezelfde te zijn als op de

afbeelding.

Opmerking: De ND-filter en beschermer kunnen niet

worden gebruikt met andere filters of voorzetlenzen.

Opmerkingen over reinigen

Stof op de filter of lens kunt u verwijderen met een
blaaskwastje. Vingerafdrukken en aanklevend vuil kunt
u wegvegen met de Sony LCD reinigingsset of een zacht
doekje, licht bevochtigd met een mild zeepsopje.

Achtung
Vorsicht beim Abnehmen des ND­Filters/Schutzfilters

Wenn Sie den ND-Filter/Schutzfilter von der Kamera
abnehmen wollen, legen Sie ein weiches Tuch über
den ND-Filter/Schutzfilter und schrauben Sie ihn
dann vorsichtig ab, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden.

Merkmale und Funktionen

• Dieser ND-Filter (Neutral Density) verstärkt den
Bildkontrast, indem die in das Objektiv einfallende
Lichtmenge bei Aufnahmen in hellem Licht begrenzt
wird.

• Der Schutzfilter schützt das Kameraobjektiv vor
Staub und Schmutz. Normalerweise brauchen Sie
den Schutzfilter während der Aufnahme nicht von
der Kamera abzunehmen.

Anbringen des ND-Filters/
Schutzfilters

Setzen Sie den ND-Filter oder den Schutzfilter am
Schraubengewinde des Kameraobjektivs an und ziehen
Sie ihn fest an.
* Bei der Kamera muss es sich nicht unbedingt um die

hier abgebildete handeln.

Hinweis: Der ND-Filter und der Schutzfilter können nicht

zusammen mit anderen Filtern oder Konverterobjektiven
eingesetzt werden.

Hinweise zur Reinigung

Entfernen Sie Staub auf der Filter- bzw.
Objektivoberfläche mit einem Staubbläser. Entfernen Sie
Fingerabdrücke oder andere Flecken mit dem
LCD-Reinigungssatz von Sony oder einem weichen
Tuch, das Sie leicht mit einer milden Reinigungslösung
angefeuchtet haben.

Varning!
Att tänka på när du tar bort ND­filtret/skyddet

Innan du tar bort ND-filtret/skyddet från kameran
bör du lägga en mjuk duk över ND-filtret/skyddet
och sedan försiktigt skruva av det, så undviker du
skador.

Funktioner

• Det här ND-filtret (Neutral Density) förstärker

bildens kontrast genom att begränsa ljusmängden
genom linsen när du tar bilder på ljusa platser.

• Skyddet hindrar kameralinsen att skadas av smuts

och damm. I de flesta fall kan du låta skyddet sitta
kvar på kameran när du tar bilder.

Sätta på ND-filtret/skyddet

Skruva fast ND-filtret eller skyddet på kameralinsens
gängor och se till att det sitter fast ordentligt.
* Det är inte säkert att kameran på bilden är av samma

modell som den du själv har.

Obs!: ND-filtret och skyddet kan inte användas med andra

filter eller konversionslinser.

Rengöring

Borsta bort eventuellt damm från filtrets eller linsens yta
med en blåsborste. Torka bort fingeravtryck eller andra
fläckar med rengöringssetet Sony LCD eller med en
mjuk duk, lätt fuktad med ett milt rengöringsmedel.

Il presente kit di filtri è stato concepito per videocamere
o macchine fotografiche ferme digitali con obiettivo da
30 mm di diametro.

Note sulla pulizia

Eliminare accuratamente la polvere presente sulla
superficie del filtro o dell'obiettivo con una spazzola a
soffietto. Eliminare impronte o altre macchie mediante il
kit di pulizia per display LCD Sony oppure utilizzando
un panno morbido leggermente inumidito con una
soluzione detergente neutra.
