A1: Begin by sliding open the compartment cover located at the bottom of the answering machine, attach four AAA size batteries while making sure the polarity is right while you insert the batteries.

A2: Ensure that the answering function is turned on, the audible indicator is set correctly, and that the memory is not full. In addition, ensure that the unit is plugged into the main socket fitting.

A5: A single loss of power while there are no batteries fitted or the batteries are exhausted will result in deletion of your greeting message along with any recorded messages. After the loss of power, the message counter will resume showing āPā.

A6: During playback, if you switch on the ERASE button, you can erase messages while the machine is playing. In addition, when the machine is not playing, you can delete every aver played message.

A7: The TAM-2000 is capable of remote functioning, provided a security code is set and the machine receiver is called from a tone telephone.
