Do not install the Wireless Speaker in a confined space, such as a
bookcase or built-in cabinet.
To reduce the risk of fire, do not cover the ventilation opening of the
Wireless Speaker with newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
Do not expose the Wireless Speaker to naked flame sources (for
example, lighted candles).
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this Wireless
Speaker to dripping or splashing, and do not place objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, on the Wireless Speaker.
The AC adapter is not disconnected from the mains as long as it is
connected to the AC outlet, even if the Wireless Speaker itself has been
turned off.
As the main plug of AC power adapter is used to disconnect the AC
power adapter from the mains, connect it to an easily accessible AC
outlet. Should you notice an abnormality in it, disconnect it from the AC
outlet immediately.
Do not place this product close to medical devices
This product (including accessories) has magnet(s) which may interfere
with pacemakers, programmable shunt valves for hydrocephalus
treatment, or other medical devices. Do not place this product close
to persons who use such medical devices. Consult your doctor before
using this product if you use any such medical device.
Recommended cables
Properly shielded and grounded cables and connectors must be used
for connection to host computers and/or peripherals.

The nameplate is located on the bottom of the Wireless Speaker.
For the AC adapter
Labels for AC adapter Model No. and Serial No. are located at the
bottom of AC adapter.
For the customers in Taiwan
The operations near the radar system shall not be influenced.
The directed antenna with high gain must apply to the fixed point-topoint system only.
For the customers other than in Taiwan
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
set out in the EMC regulation using a connection cable shorter than
3meters.

Precautions
On safety
Should any solid object or liquid fall into the product, unplug it and have
it checked by qualified personnel before operating it any further.
On power sources
• Before operating the product, check that the operating voltage is
identical with your local power supply.
The operating voltage is indicated on the nameplate on the bottom of
the product.
• The product is not disconnected from the AC power source (mains) as
long as it is connected to the wall outlet, even if the product itself has
been turned off.
• If you are not going to use the product for a long time, be sure to
disconnect it from the wall outlet. To disconnect the AC power cord,
grasp the plug itself; never pull the cord.
On placement
• Do not set the product in an inclined position.
• Place the product in a location with adequate ventilation to prevent
heat buildup and prolong the life of the product.
• Do not place the product near heat sources, or in a place subject to
direct sunlight, excessive dust, or mechanical shock.
• Do not place anything on top of the product that might cause
malfunctions.
• Use caution when placing the product on surfaces that have been
specially treated (with wax, oil, polish, etc.) as staining or discoloration
of the surface may result.
On cleaning
Clean this product with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild
detergent solution. Do not use any type of abrasive pads, scouring
powder, or solvents, such as thinner, benzine, or alcohol.

consult your nearest Sony dealer.
Notes on the update
The software of this product will be automatically updated to the latest
software while connected to the Internet via a Wi-Fi® network.
The software update will be delivered from time to time when, for
example, a new feature becomes available or the update is required for
stable use.
Such automatic software feature may not be disabled. Also, previous
versions of the software cannot be retrievable.
Do not turn off power of this product while updating. The product may
not be operational while updating.
To use this product, a Wi-Fi environment and Google Account are
necessary, as well as your consent to Google Terms of Use and/or
Privacy Policy. By using this product, you agree to Sony’s EULA. Software
for this product is automatically updated from time to time and you
cannot choose or refuse to load such automatic software.
