This instruction manual explains how to use
lenses. Precautions common to all lenses such
as notes on use are found in the separate
“Precautions before using”. Be sure to read both
documents before using your lens.

This manual is for several different lenses.
The SEL075UWC/SEL057FEC (referred to below as
“this unit”) can only be used with a combination of
a Sony α camera system E-mount camera (referred
to below as “camera”) and an Interchangeable Lens
FE28mm F2 (SEL28F20).
These cameras and interchangeable lens are not
available in all countries/regions.

• The illustrations in this manual show the
SEL075UWC, except Identifying the Parts
(illustration ).

Notes on Use

• Be careful not to subject this unit to mechanical
shock while attaching it.

• Be careful when placing the camera on a table or
other flat surface with this unit attached. The rim
of this unit’s lens hood touches the table so the
camera body is at an unstable angle.

• Remove this unit when carrying.

• Do not hold the camera only by this unit.

• Always place the lens caps on this unit when
storing.

• This lens is not water-proof, although designed
with dust-proofness and splash-proofness in mind.
If using in the rain etc., keep water drops away
from the lens.

Precautions on using a flash

• When using a built-in flash or supplied flash, the
lens may partially block the light of the flash,
resulting in a shadow at the bottom of the picture.

• When using the SEL075UWC with your lens, use
a separately sold flash that has a flash coverage
compatible with the focal length of the lens.

• The SEL057FEC produces a very wide angle of view,
so the corners of the screen appear darker than
the center when shooting together with a flash.
We recommend bounce shooting by attaching an
external flash to the camera.

Before attaching this unit

• Check that the interchangeable lens FE 28mm F2
(SEL28F20) is attached to the camera. If a different
interchangeable lens is attached, replace it.

• Turn off the power of the camera.

• If the MC protector or a filter is attached to the
interchangeable lens, remove it before attaching
this unit.

To attach this unit

1 Remove the front lens cap from the

interchangeable lens and this unit’s front and
rear caps.

• Simultaneously press in the direction of the
arrows as illustrated and remove the front lens
cap of this unit.

• While sliding the lock release, rotate the rear
lens cap of this unit counterclockwise and
remove it.

• You can attach the front lens cap of the FE
28mm F2 (SEL28F20) lens to the detached rear
lens cap from this unit. (See illustration -1-a)

2 Align the “ (red line*)” on the barrel of

this unit with the “ (red line*)” on the
interchangeable lens. Carefully insert this
unit into the interchangeable lens and slowly
rotate it clockwise until it locks into place.

* The red lines indicate the indexes.

• Do not slide the lock release on this unit.

Detaching this unit



1 Turn off the power of the camera.
2 While sliding the lock release on this unit, fully

rotate this unit counterclockwise and detach
this unit.

Remarques sur l’emploi

• Veillez à ne pas soumettre cet article à un choc
mécanique lorsque vous le fixez.

• Faites attention si vous posez l’appareil photo sur
une table ou une surface plane lorsque cet article
est fixé. Puisque le bord du parasoleil de cet article
repose sur la table, l’appareil photo peut être
instable.

Précautions concernant l’emploi d’un
flash

• Lors de l’utilisation d’un flash intégré ou fourni,
l’objectif peut bloquer partiellement la lumière du
flash et produire une ombre au bas de l’image.

• Lorsque vous utilisez le SEL075UWC avec votre
objectif, utilisez un flash commercial dont la portée
est compatible avec la focale de l’objectif.

• Le SEL057FEC produit une vue à très grand angle,
les coins de l’écran risquent de paraître plus
sombres qu’au milieu lors de la prise de vue avec
un flash. Nous conseillons une prise de vue avec
rebond lorsque vous fixez un flash externe à
l’appareil photo.

• 在镜头上使用 SEL075UWC 时，请使用另
售且其闪光范围与镜头焦距兼容的闪光灯。

• SEL057FEC 可形成非常宽的广角效果。因
此，在同时使用闪光灯进行拍摄时，屏幕的
角落要比其中心暗。 建议您为相机安装外部
闪光灯，采用反射闪光方式进行拍摄。



• Appuyez simultanément dans le sens des

bloque.

Notas sobre la utilización

• Tenga cuidado de no someter esta unidad a
golpes cuando la fije.

• Tenga cuidado cuando coloque la cámara sobre
una mesa u otra superficie plana con esta unidad

• Antes de guardar esta unidad colóquele las tapas
del objetivo.

• Este objetivo no es impermeable, aunque se ha
diseñado teniendo en cuenta la resistencia al polvo
y a las salpicaduras. Si se utiliza bajo la lluvia, etc.,
mantenga las gotas de agua alejadas del objetivo.

Precauciones sobre la utilización de un
flash

• Cuando utilice un flash incorporado o el flash
suministrado, el objetivo puede bloquear
parcialmente la luz del flash, lo que resultará en
una sombra en la parte inferior de la fotografía.

• Cuando utilice el SEL075UWC con su objetivo, us un
flash vendido aparte que tenga una cobertura de
flash compatible con la distancia focal del objetivo.

• El SEL057FEC produce un ángulo de visión muy
amplio, por lo que las esquinas de la pantalla
aparecen más oscuras que el centro cuando
se fotografía con un flash. Recomendamos la
fotografía con rebote fijando un flash externo a la
cámara.

Antes de instalar esta unidad

• Compruebe que el objetivo intercambiable FE
28mm F2 (SEL28F20) esté fijado a la cámara. Si
está fijado un objetivo intercambiable diferente,
reemplácelo.

• Apague la cámara.

• Si el protector MC o un filtro está fijado al objetivo
intercambiable, quítelo antes de fijar esta unidad.

Para instalar esta unidad

1 Extraiga la tapa frontal del objetivo

intercambiable y las tapas frontal y posterior
de esta unidad.

• Pulse simultáneamente en sentido de las
flechas como se muestra en la ilustración y
quite la tapa frontal del objetivo de esta unidad.

• Mientras deslice el botón de liberación, gire la
tapa posterior del objetivo de esta unidad hacia
la izquierda y quítelo.

• Puede instalar la tapa frontal del objetivo del
objetivo FE 28mm F2 (SEL28F20) a la tapa
posterior del objetivo quitada de esta unidad.
(Consulte la ilustración -1-a)

2 Alinee la “ (línea roja*)” del barril de esta

unidad con la “ (línea roja*)” del objetivo
intercambiable. Inserte cuidadosamente esta
unidad en el objetivo intercambiable y gírela
lentamente hacia la derecha hasta que quede
bloqueada en su lugar.

• No deslice el botón de liberación de esta

• 携带相机时，请取下本装置。

• 拿起相机时，切勿只抓握本装置。

• 存放本装置时，应始终装上镜头盖。

• 尽管本镜头采用了防尘和防溅水设计，但不
具备防水性能。 在雨中等环境下使用时，应
确保镜头远离水滴。

闪光灯使用注意事项

• 使用内置闪光灯或随附的闪光灯时，镜头可
能会遮住闪光灯的部分亮光，从而造成图片
的底部出现阴影。

• 在镜头上使用 SEL075UWC 时，请使用另
售且其闪光范围与镜头焦距兼容的闪光灯。

• SEL057FEC 可形成非常宽的广角效果。因
此，在同时使用闪光灯进行拍摄时，屏幕的
角落要比其中心暗。 建议您为相机安装外部
闪光灯，采用反射闪光方式进行拍摄。

安装本装置之前

• 检查相机上安装的是否为可更换镜头 FE
28mm F2 (SEL28F20)。 如果安装了其他
可更换镜头，请进行更换。

• 关闭相机电源。

• 如果可更换镜头上安装有 MC 保护镜或滤光
镜，请在安装本装置之前将其取下。

安装本装置

1 取下可更换镜头上的前镜头盖及本装置的

前后盖。

• 按图中箭头所示的方向同时按压，取下本
装置的前镜头盖。

• 在滑动锁定释放钮的同时，逆时针旋转本
装置的后镜头盖并将其取下。

• 可以将 FE 28mm F2 (SEL28F20) 镜头
的前镜头盖安装到从本装置上取下的后镜
头盖上（参见插图 -1-a）。

2 将本装置镜筒上的“

换镜头上的“

（红线*）”与可更

（红线*）”对准。 将本装
置小心地插入可更换镜头中，并顺时针缓
慢旋转，直至锁紧到位。
