A moulded plug complying with BS 1363 is fitted to this equipment
for your safety and convenience.
Should the fuse in the plug supplied need to be replaced, a 5 AjVIP
fuse approved by ASTA or BSI to BS 1362, (i.e.- marked with <$> or ^
mark) must be used.
If the plug supplied with this equipment has a detachable fuse
cover, be sure to attach the fuse cover after you change the fuse.
Never use the plug without the fuse cover. If you should lose the
fuse cover, please contact your nearest Sony service station.
IMPORTANT
If the plug supplied is not suitable for the socket outlets in your
home, it should be cut off and an appropriate plug fitted in
accordance with the following instructions.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue: Neutral
Brown: Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may
not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals
in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured'browirmust be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
Do not connect either wire to the earth terminal in the plug which is
marked by the letter E or by the safety earth symbol or coloured
green or green-and-yellow.
WARNING
To prevent shock hazard, do not insert the plug cut off from the
mains lead into a socket outlet. This plug cannot be used and should
be destroyed.

On safety
• Before operating the un;t, check that the operating voltage of vc.
unit is identical with that of \\iur local power supply,
• Should any solid object or liquid fall into the cabinet, unplug the
unit and have it checked bv qualified personnel before operating
any further.
• Unplug the unit from the cvall outlet if it is not to be used for an
extended period of hme. To disconnect the cord, pull it out b\ :h
plug. Never pull the cord itself.
• The unit is not disconnected from the AC power source (mains

• .Avant d'utiliser la platine, v'érifiez que sa tension de
fonctionnement est identique à celle du courant secteur local.
• Si un solide ou un liquide tombait dans le coffret, débranchez la
platine et faites-Ia vérifier par un technicien qualifié avant de la
remettre en service.
• Débranchez la platine de la prise secteur si vous ne comptez pas
Tutiliser pendant longtemps. Pour débrancher le cordon, tirez sur
la fiche et non sur le cordon.

la source d'alimentation secteur tant qu'il reste branche sur une

Seguridad
• Antes de emplear la unidad, compruebe si su tensión de
alimentación es idéntica a la de la red local.
• Si dentro de la unidad cae algún objeto sólido o líquido,
desenchúfela de la red y haga que sea comprobada por personal
cualificado.
•Cuando no vaya a emplear la unidad durante mucho tiempo,
desenchúfela de la toma de la red. Para desconectar el cable, tire
del enchufe. No tire nunca del propio cable.
• La unidad no se desconectará de la red de CA, aunque ponga en
OFF su interruptor de alimentación, mientras esté enchufada en
una toma de la misma.
• La placa de características en la que se indica la tensión de
alimentación, el consumo, etc., se encuentra en la parte posterior
exterior.
Reempaque
Guarde la caja de cartón ni el material amortiguador. Estos
elementos serán ideales para transportar la unidad.

Seguranza
• Antes de utilizar o aparelho, assegure-se de que a voltagem de
funcionamento do seu gira-discos é a mesma da tensao da rede
eléctrica local.
• Caso objectos sólidos ou algum líquido penetre no gira-discos,
desligue o aparelho da tomada e solicite urna averiguagáo técnica
por pessoal qualificado antes de voltar a utilizá-lo.
• Desligue o gira-discos da tomada da rede, caso nao pretenda
utilizá-lo durante um longo período. Para retirar o cabo de
alimentai;ao CA da tomada, puxe-o segurando pela ficha, nunca
pelo pròprio cabo.
• Mesmo quando o interruptor de alimentaqáo estiver desligado, o
aparelho nao estará desligado da rede CA enquanto estiver ligado
à tomada da parede.
• A placa indicativa da voltagem de funcionamento, do consumo,
etc. está localizada na parte externa posterior do aparelho.
Reempacotamento
Guarde a embalagem e o material de empacotamento. Estes seráo
ideáis para transportar o aparelho posteriormente.
Caso surjam dúvidas ou problemas concernentes ao aparelho nao
esclarecidos neste manual, consulte o seu agente Sony mais
