Sony PLAYSTATION 2 Installation Manual

Turn on the power to your TV.

Connect the AC adaptor to the AC
power cord. Connect the AC adaptor
end to the PlayStation 2 system.

Press the open button on the front of
the console and set a disc in the disc
holder. Press down gently on the disc
until all three tabs on the disc holder
are above the surface of the disc. Press
the "PUSH" label on the disc cover to
close it.

Installation Using an RFU Adaptor

PlayStation2 computer entertainment system (70000 series)
Step 1: CABLES

Connect the flat end of the RFU Adaptor
to the AV MULTI OUT connector on the
back of the PlayStation 2 system.

Connect the RFU OUT connector to the
cable connector on the back of your TV.
This is where you ordinarily connect
your coaxial cable for an antenna, cable
TV, or VCR. Plug the cable into the area
marked ANT on the RFU adaptor.

Set the RFU Adaptor switch to either
channel 3 or 4.

Plug the AC power cord end into a
working electrical outlet.

Step 2: CONTROL

Press the on/standby/reset button on
the front of the console. Make sure the
indicator light turns green.
