などによりけがの原因となることがあるため、十分注意して接
続・配置してください。
また、コードをACアダプターに巻き付けないでください。断
線や故障の原因になります。

通電中のACアダプターに長時間ふれない

温度が相当上がることがあります。長時間皮膚がふれたままに
なっていると、低温やけどの原因となることがあります。

アダプターを布団などでおおった状態で使わない

使用上のご注意

置いてはいけない場所

使用中、保管中にかかわらず、次のような場所に置かないでください。故障
の原因になります。

異常に高温になる場所

炎天下や夏場の窓を閉め切った自動車内は特に高温になり、放置すると変形し
たり、故障したりすることがあります。

Notes on use

• Do not subject the unit to:
– Extreme heat or cold
– Dust, dirt, or sand
– High humidity
– Vibration
– Strong magnetic fields
– Mechanical shock
– Direct sunlight (for extended periods of time)

• Do not set the unit on an unstable surface as it may fall, causing injury or

damage.

• Do not drop the unit.

• Unplug the AC adapter from the AC outlet when not in use for an

extended period of time. To disconnect the power cord, pull it out by the
plug. Never pull the cord itself.

• Be sure that nothing metallic comes into contact with the metal parts of
this unit. If this happens, a short circuit may occur and the unit may be
damaged.

• Do not operate the unit if it has a damaged cord or if it has been dropped
or damaged.

• Always keep the metal contacts clean.

• Do not disassemble or modify the unit.

• While the unit is in use, it gets warm. This is normal.

Keep the unit away from TV or AM receivers, as it may disturb reception.

Cleaning

Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth or a soft cloth lightly moistened with a
mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of solvent, such as alcohol or
benzine, which may damage the finish.

How to connect

Connect your CLIÉ handheld to your computer via USB Cradle as shown in
the illustration 1, 2.

1 Insert the connecting plug of the AC power adapter to the
connecting terminal of this USB Cradle, and 2 insert the power
plug of the AC power adapter to a wall outlet. Then 3 insert the
USB connector of this USB Cradle to the USB port of your computer.

You need to connect the USB connector of this USB Cradle to the USB port of
your computer. If you connect the USB connector of the USB Cradle to
another USB port, such as a USB-hub, you may be unable to perform the
HotSync operation correctly.

2 Place your CLI

CLIÉ handheld.

When connecting your CLIÉ handheld to this USB Cradle, make sure
the connecting terminal of this USB Cradle is inserted to the Interface
connector of your CLIÉ handheld correctly.

handheld starts charging.

Nettoyage

Nettoyez l’appareil avec un chiffon doux et sec ou un chiffon légèrement humidifié
à l’aide d’une solution détergente neutre. N’utilisez aucun type de solvant comme
de l’alcool ou de l’essence, qui risque d’abîmer la finition du boîtier.

Raccordement

Raccordez votre ordinateur de poche CLIÉ à votre ordinateur via la station
d’accueil USB, comme indiqué dans l’illustration 1, 2.

2 Installez votre ordinateur de poche CLIÉ sur cette station

d’accueil USB, puis insérez le terminal de cette dernière dans
le connecteur d’interface de votre ordinateur de poche CLIÉ.

•

Lorsque vous raccordez votre ordinateur de poche CLIÉ à cette station
d’accueil USB, veillez à ce que le terminal de raccordement de cette
dernière soit correctement inséré dans le connecteur d’interface de
votre ordinateur de poche CLIÉ.

• Lors de la charge de votre ordinateur de poche CLIÉ avec cette
station d’accueil USB, assurez-vous que le voyant POWER de
votre ordinateur de poche CLIÉ est allumé et que la charge de

votre CLIÉ commence.

• Lorsque vous retirez votre ordinateur de poche CLIÉ de la station
d’accueil, inclinez-le légèrement vers l’avant et tirez.

Opération HotSync

Hinweise zur Verwendung

• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor:
– extremen Temperaturen
– Staub, Schmutz und Sand

es zu einem Kurzschluss kommen und das Gerät könnte beschädigt
werden.

Reinigen

Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch oder einem
weichen Tuch, das Sie leicht mit einer milden Reinigungslösung
angefeuchtet haben. Verwenden Sie keine Lösungsmittel wie Alkohol
oder Benzin. Diese könnten die Oberfläche angreifen.

Anschließen

Schließen Sie den CLIÉ Handheld wie in Abbildung 1 und 2 dargestellt
mithilfe der USB-Anschlussstation an den Computer an.

Conexión

Opmerkingen over het

gebruik

• Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan:
– Extreme hitte of kou

•

Plaats het apparaat niet op een instabiel oppervlak, omdat het

Pulizia

Collegamento

Collegare il palmare CLIÉ al computer mediante il supporto USB come
illustrato nelle figure 1 e 2.
