Purpose of this manual
This manual is the installation manual of the MPEG TS
board PDBK-201.
This manual is intended for use by trained system and
service engineers, and describes the information on installing the PDBK-201.

The MPEG TS board PDBK-201 consists of the following

On installation
PDBK-201 consists of the TSI-60 board.
Install the PDBK-201 according to the installation procedure described in section 1-3. Upon completion of installation, check that the PDBK-201 is properly installed according to the check procedure described in Section 1-4.

1. Turn the main unit upside down.
2. Remove the fi ve screws and remove the bottom panel
assembly.

Check procedure
1. While press the [PAGE/HOME] button and the
[SHIFT] button simultaneously, press the [MENU]
button.
The MAINTENANCE MENU is displayed.

2. Rotate the PUSH SET knob to select M2: SERVICE
SUPPORT, and rotate the PUSH SET knob.
3. Rotate the PUSH SET knob to select M22: OPTION
STATUS, and rotate the PUSH SET knob.
4. Confi rm that “ena” is displayed in the place corre-
sponding to MPEG TS Board.

3. Install the TSI-60 board connector CN100 to the
HPR-23 board connector CN101.
4. Attach the TSI-60 board with the four screws (PSW2.6
x 6).

5. Attach the bottom pane.
