Digital Reality Creation™ MultiFunction V1 This latest version of
DRC™ circuitry minimizes the visibility of scanning lines to create an impressively
smoother and more beautiful picture, while also offering user control over detail
and smoothness levels, to allow for a customized picture that is optimized for signal quality, viewing conditions and personal preference.
CineMotion™ Reverse 3-2 Pull-Down Technology Is a fixed algorithm
irrespective of source which preserves the integrity of movie film frames to create
the best possible image.
HD Compound Achromatic Microfocus™ Lens System For each sep-
arated color (R, G, B), there is a “pure” position in the color spectrum. Color separation in general has some tolerance meaning that some greens might appear
red or blueish and when these “color beams” are sent from the CRT through a
conventional lens then to the screen the impure colors will appear out of focus.
This compound Achromatic lens compensates for these color impurities and
merges all like colors into one color beam as if it were one pure color signal.
Uniform Brightness Screen™ Technology This Sony proprietary technol-
ogy improves the lenticular screen to produce a bright, uniform image from top to
bottom and corner to corner of the screen. With the UBS “Hot Banding” is greatly
reduced producing a wider vertical viewing angle. The viewing angle is increased
from 34° to 60°.
DVI - HDTV Interface The DVI-HDTV Interface has been added for the latest gen-
eration in high definition television connectivity. a single wire delivers a full digital, uncompressed HD signal that can be received from any DVI set top box
