COMPONENT VIDEO HOOKUP
If your TV monitor have COMPONENT VIDEO INPUT jacks, use a component video cord to connect to the
DVD player (DVP-NC655P) for better picture quality.
When you make the component video hookup
• Set SCAN SELECT on the DVD player to “PROGRESSIVE".
• Set your TV's video input to match your selection.
• You do not have to connect the LINE OUT VIDEO 1 jack (on DVD player) to the DVD/LD VIDEO 1 jack (on receiver).

For best performance, we recommend speaker placement as shown.

For greater flexibility in the positioning of the speakers, use the optional WS-FV10C floor stand
(available only in certain countries).

Front speakers
Place on both sides of the TV equal distances
apart.

Subwoofer
Can be placed anywhere.

Center speaker
Place on the top of or below the TV.
Surround speakers
Place right beside or slightly behind your
listening position, and a little higher than
your ears.
