1 Introduction: Demo Mode
The High-Definition Digital Video Recorder (HD DVR) models DHG-HDD250 and DHGHDD500 feature attractive high-definition video content that is pre-recorded and is
available to be played back as soon as the HD DVR is connected to a TV. You can enjoy
a short clip of high-definition video even if high-definition cable TV or antenna
broadcast signals are not immediately available.
The HD DVRs also have a “Demo Mode” feature that can be activated by following the
steps outlined in this document. Activating the Demo Feature will:
Allow any program to be played back in a continuous loop
Limit the number of ways in which a program can be easily deleted
This feature may be useful in retail or other environments where there is an interest in
continuously displaying a single recording.
With the “Demo Mode” feature activated, this
menu no longer automatically appears at the
end of a recorded program. However this
menu is still available by pressing the
→
button on the remote control or front panel.
