Camera Installation
1. Camera Mounting:
Items Needed:
Screwdriver, Drill, Mounting Hardware (not
included), Pencil
2. For Wall Mount bracket
a. Assemble 2 pieces of camera support
bracket and secure with 4 screws
b. Attach support bracket to Camera body

c. Attach support bracket to camera bracket
d. Push cable through holes in bracket
e. For Ceiling mount bracket, simply thread bracket
to camera (top or bottom)

Adjusting the Lens
The Lens of the CD-9255 camera is an externally
adjustable 4-9mm varifocal lens. The lens can be
easily adjusted after mounting the camera.
WARNING! – Failure to follow these
instructions carefully can result in damage
to the camera and will void the warranty
On the back of the camera, you will find 2
weatherproof caps. These caps hide the zoom
and focus adjustments for the camera.
1. Carefully remove the zoom cap from the
camera
Do NOT lose the cap, you will need to replace the
weather-proof cap after adjustment

2. Use a small screwdriver to adjust the zoom of the
lens. The CD-9255 camera will adjust between
4mm (wide-angle) and approx. 9mm (fixed
zoom).
When making Zoom and Focus adjustments,
STOP when there is a slight resistance.
Forcing the camera’s adjustment will void
the warranty and damage the camera

3. Next, remove the weatherproof cap for the focus
adjustment..
4. Then use a small standard screwdriver to adjust
the focus of the camera.
When making Zoom and Focus adjustments,
STOP when there is a slight resistance.

the warranty and damage the camera

5. You may have to repeat the zoom and focus
adjustments to achieve the width of view that is
desired.
6. Once you have completed the adjustments,
replace the weatherproof caps, making sure they
are completely seated to ensure the camera
remains weatherproof.

• Remove protective film from lens before use

• Clean the lens occasionally with a dry micro-fiber
cloth, or plastic cleaner only – Do not use abrasivetype cleaners as they will scratch lens
