Introduction

Combined with the TaHoma®, this product:

- Detects an intrusion or attempted intrusions into the house

- Oﬀers more options for the connected home (Smart automated systems)

It detects whether the home's access points and opening features are open, as well as any shocks they receive.

This product can therefore be used in two contexts:

- Connected security (

As well as safety,

oﬀers all the advantages of a Smart Home. In this case, it is important to avoid any conﬂicting settings between the active alerts and Protection provided by

Fitting the battery

To open the unit, press on the upper section of the opening and shock detector unit to unclip the front of the case.

Insert the battery the correct way ("+" side on the "+" side and "-" side on the "-" side).

Do not replace the front of the case before adding the opening and shock detector to the TaHoma® and conﬁguring it.

Adding to TaHoma

On the TaHoma® interface, select the tab.

- Select the Conﬁguration tab.

- Select the "IO" tab, then select "Add".

- Follow the procedure shown on the screen.

- AFTER pairing is complete, the green indicator light will switch oﬀ.

Do not replace the front of the case until the opening and shock detector has been conﬁgured.

Installation

Locations and usage scenarios.

Depending on the usage scenario (Connected Security or Connected Home), there are several possible installation conﬁgurations: Solutions A,B or C.

Solution A is recommended for a more ﬂexible application

For Connected Security (TaHoma®serenity):

• Opening detection In order to be able to detect intrusion, install the opening and

shock detector as follows:

- A) Unit on the moving part and the magnet on the frame of the door or window.

- B) Or the reverse depending on your installation.

- C) Unit installed on the moving part only, if the opening element is not large enough for the magnet to be installed.

For solution C: Detection is based only on the movement of the opening element, and not on the current opening status (open/closed).

- You are alerted of an intrusion in the event of any movement.

- On the TaHoma®serenity interface, the sensor icon does not change and, as a default, continues to show the status of the opening element before the intrusion (closed).

• Shock detection In order to be able to detect attempted intrusion, install the

opening and shock detector as follows:

- A) Unit on the moving part and the magnet on the frame of the door or window.

The Unit detects intrusion attempts (intrusion alert), and the Magnet makes it possible to identify the actual opening status (detector status visible in the interface) and so identify whether or not intrusion has taken place.

For Connected Home (TaHoma®):

• Opening detection only In order to be able to detect openings, install the opening and

shock detector as follows:

- A) Unit on the moving part and the magnet on the frame of the door or window.

- B) Or the reverse depending on your installation.

Mounting

Easy installation using adhesive strips

• Clean the surface where the unit and the magnet will be mounted.

• Aﬃx the elements following the chosen installation method (A, B or C).

Mounting with screws

• Press on the upper section of the unit and magnet to unclip the front panel.

• Place the back panel (of the unit or magnet) into the chosen position and the screw holes with a pencil.

• Use ﬁxing screws (3.5mm diameter and 19mm in length) and suitable plugs (3.5mm diameter and 25mm in length) to ﬁx the opening and shock detector to the surface.

• Firmly secure the back section of the opening and shock detector in place.

Conﬁguration

To use the opening and shock detector in the various settings previously mentioned, use the following conﬁgurations.

Activation / Deactivation of magnet

The mode selector indicates the activation/deactivation of the magnet.

For Connected Security (TaHoma®serenity):

• Opening detection For solutions A or B, put the mode selector in the Magnet activated position (default position). The opening and shock detector is now operational.

For solution C, place the selector in the "Magnet not activated" position, then carry out the opening programming (see p12). This step enables the unit to recognise opening or closing of the window or door without requiring the magnet.

• Shock detection For solution A, set the mode selector to the "Magnet activated" position (default position), the proceed to the shock "learning" mode (see p12). This step enables the unit to recognise intrusion attempts.

• Opening detection For solutions A or B, put the mode selector in the Magnet activated position (default position). The opening and shock detector is now operational.

Opening and shock "learning" mode

This enables the opening and shock detector to recognise:

- an intrusion: opening "learning" OR

- an intrusion attempt: shock "learning"

Ensure the opening element has been closed. Then all that is required are the following 3 steps:

1) Press the calibration button (C) and hold for 3 seconds.

2) The red indicator light will light up for 10 seconds: close the unit cover whilst the light is on.

3) The red indicator light will blink rapidly: this is the learning step.

- Opening "learning": open the window/door normally. OR

- Shock "learning": force/shake the door/window to simulate an intrusion attempt.

If there is an error, the red indicator light will blink twice every ﬁve seconds. Return to step 1.

C P

Carry out an intrusion test or intrusion attempt once this stage is ﬁnished to check that the opening and shock detector is functioning correctly. The indicator turns red to indicate detection.

Deactivating the programming

To reset the opening and shock detector settings, unclip the front panel of the unit and press the calibration (C) button for 10 seconds; the indicator light will come on then go out.

Resetting the opening and shock detector

To delete the opening and shock detector from the TaHoma, unclip the front panel of the unit, and press the programming button (P) for 10 seconds; the indicator light will come on then go out.

- Erkennung eines Einbruchs oder eines Einbruchsversuchs in mein Haus

- Erweiterte Möglichkeiten für die Gebäudeautomatisierung (Smart-Automatikvorrichtungen)

Es erkennt den Öﬀnungszustand der Fenster und Türen im Haus sowie Stöße gegen Fenster und Türen.

Dieses Produkt bietet dementsprechend zwei Einsatzmöglichkeiten:

- Funk-Sicherheitssystem (Einbruchschutz von

TaHoma®serenity

- oder Gebäudeautomatisierung (Smart-Automatikvorrichtungen von

TaHoma®)

einerseits und der Smart-Automatikvorrichtungen

andererseits vorgenommen werden.

Einsetzen der Batterie

Drücken Sie zum Öﬀnen auf das Oberteil des Gehäuses des Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensors, um die vordere Blende des Sensors abzunehmen.

Setzen Sie die Batterie in der entsprechenden Richtung ein (Pluspol zu Pluskontakt und Minuspol zu Minuskontakt).

Bringen Sie die vordere Blende erst wieder an, nachdem der Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor in TaHoma® hinzugefügt und konﬁguriert wurde.

Hinzufügen zu TaHoma

Wählen Sie in der TaHoma® Benutzeroberﬂäche die Registerkarte .

- Klicken Sie auf die Konﬁgurationsregisterkarte .

- Klicken Sie auf die Registerkarte „IO“ und anschließend auf „Hinzufügen“.

- Befolgen Sie die angezeigten Anweisungen.

- Nach erfolgreichem Pairing erlischt die grüne Kontrollleuchte.

Bringen Sie die vordere Blende erst wieder an, nachdem der Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor konﬁguriert wurde.

Installation

Anbringungsorte und Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Je nach Einsatz (Funk-Sicherheitssystem oder Gebäudeautomatisierung) gibt es mehrere Installationsmöglichkeiten: Installationsart A, B oder C.

Für eine ﬂexible Nutzung wird Installationsart A empfohlen.

Für Funk-Sicherheitssystem (TaHoma®serenity):

• Öﬀnungserkennung Montieren Sie den Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor wie folgt,

damit ein Einbruch erkannt werden kann:

- A) Gehäuse am beweglichen Teil und Magnet am festen Teil der Tür bzw. des Fensters

- B) Oder umgekehrt, je nach Installationsart

- C) Oder nur Gehäuse am beweglichen Teil, wenn der Magnet nicht angebracht werden kann

Installationsart C: Erkannt wird nur die Bewegung der Tür bzw. des Fensters und nicht der Öﬀnungszustand (oﬀen/geschlossen).

- Anhand der Bewegung werden Sie im Falle eines Einbruchs gewarnt.

- Das Sensorsymbol in der Benutzeroberﬂäche von TaHoma®serenity bleibt unverändert und zeigt den standardmäßigen Zustand der Tür bzw. des Fensters vor dem Einbruch an (geschlossen).

ODER

• Einbrucherkennung Montieren Sie den Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor wie folgt,

damit ein Einbruchversuch erkannt werden kann:

- A) Gehäuse am beweglichen Teil und Magnet am festen Teil der Tür bzw. des Fensters

Das Gehäuse erkennt Einbruchversuche (Einbruchwarnung) und der Magnet erfasst den tatsächlichen Öﬀnungszustand (Sensorzustand in Benutzeroberﬂäche sichtbar). Auf diese Weise kann festgestellt werden, ob es sich um einen Einbruch handelt oder nicht.

Für Gebäudeautomatisierung (TaHoma®):

• Nur Öﬀnungserkennung Montieren Sie den Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor wie folgt,

damit ein Öﬀnung erkannt werden kann:

- A) Gehäuse am beweglichen Teil und Magnet am festen Teil der Tür bzw. des Fensters

- B) Oder umgekehrt, je nach Installationsart

Befestigung

Einfache Installation mit Klebstreifen

• Reinigen Sie die Oberﬂäche, auf der Sie das Gehäuse und den Magneten befestigen möchten.

• Kleben Sie die Elemente je nach gewünschter Installationsart (A, B oder C) auf.

Alternative: Installation mit Schrauben

• Drücken Sie auf das Oberteil des Gehäuses und des Magneten, um die vordere Blende abzunehmen.

• Platzieren Sie die Rückseite (des Gehäuses und des Magneten) an der gewünschten Stelle und kennzeichnen Sie die Befestigungslöcher mit einem Bleisti.

• Verwenden Sie Befestigungsschrauben mit 3,5mm Durchmesser und 19mm Länge sowie passende Dübel mit 3,5mm Durchmesser und 25mm Länge, um den Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor zu befestigen.

• Befestigen Sie die Rückseite des Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensors ordnungsgemäß.

Konﬁguration

Um den Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor in den verschiedenen zuvor genannten Konﬁgurationsmöglichkeiten einsetzen zu können, sind die nachstehend beschriebenen Einstellungen vorzunehmen.

Aktivierung / Deaktivierung des Magneten

Der Betriebsartenschalter zeigt an, ob der Magnet aktiviert ist oder nicht.

Für Funk-Sicherheitssystem (TaHoma®serenity):

• Öﬀnungserkennung Stellen Sie den Betriebsartenschalter bei Installationsart A und B in die Stellung „Magnet aktiviert“ (Standardstellung). Der Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor ist betriebsbereit.

Stellen Sie den Betriebsartenschalter bei Installationsart C in die Stellung „Magnet nicht aktiviert“ und starten Sie anschließend den Öﬀnungseinlernvorgang (siehe S.12). Durch diesen Schritt kann das Gehäuse ein Öﬀnen oder Schließen der Tür bzw. des Fensters ohne den Magneten erkennen.

• Einbrucherkennung Stellen Sie den Betriebsartenschalter bei Installationsart A in die Stellung „Magnet aktiviert“ (Standardstellung) und starten Sie anschließend den Einbrucheinlernvorgang (siehe S.12). Durch diesen Schritt kann das Gehäuse einen Einbruchversuch erkennen.

Für Gebäudeautomatisierung (TaHoma®):

Öﬀnungs- und Einbrucheinlernung

Durch diesen Vorgang werden folgende Situationen in den Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor eingelernt:

- ein Eindringen in die Wohnung: Öﬀnungseinlernung ODER

- ein versuchtes Eindringen in die Wohnung: Einbrucheinlernung

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Tür bzw. das Fenster geschlossen ist. Führen Sie dann die folgenden 3 Schritte aus:

1) Halten Sie die Kalibriertaste (C) 3s lang gedrückt.

2) Die rote Kontrollleuchte leuchtet 10s lang: Schließen Sie die Gehäuseabdeckung in dieser Zeit.

3) Die rote Kontrollleuchte blinkt schnell: Einlernvorgang.

- Öﬀnungseinlernung: Öﬀnen Sie die Tür bzw. das Fenster wie gewohnt.

ODER

- Einbrucheinlernung: Ziehen / rütteln Sie am Fenster bzw. an der Tür, um einen Einbruchversuch zu simulieren.

Wenn ein Fehler aufgetreten ist, blinkt die rote Kontrollleuchte alle 5s zweimal. Gehen Sie zu Schritt 1 zurück.

C P

Führen Sie nach diesem Abschnitt einen Einbruchtest bzw. einen Einbruchversuch durch, um zu prüfen, ob der Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Die rote Kontrollleuchte leuchtet bei Erkennung auf.

Deaktivierung der Einlernung

Um die Einstellung des Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensors zurückzusetzen, rasten Sie die vordere Blende des Gehäuses aus und halten Sie die Kalibriertaste (C) 10s lang gedrückt. Die Kontrollleuchte leuchtet daraufhin auf und erlischt wieder.

Zurücksetzen des Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensors

Um den Öﬀnungs- und Einbruchsensor aus TaHoma zu löschen, rasten Sie die vordere Blende des Gehäuses aus und halten Sie die Programmiertaste (P) 10s lang gedrückt. Die Kontrollleuchte leuchtet daraufhin auf und erlischt wieder.

Recycling

Entsorgen Sie das Produkt nicht mit dem Hausmüll. Entsorgen Sie es entsprechend den geltenden Vorschrien im Handel oder den kommunalen Sammelstellen, um es dem Recycling zuzuführen.
