INTRODUCTION

SKYTRON’s Fixed Focus Nautilus Series with
ADVANCED Vertical Segmented Reflector Design
(VSRD) and swirl lens provides Superior Shadow
Control and Extended Depth of Field. Typical
applications include General, Orthopedic, Plastics,
Micro Surgery, Cardiovascular, OB/GYN, Trauma
and Urology.

Wall Mounted Intensity Control provides intensity

adjustment according to surgeon's requirements to
assure maximum performance. Required, priced
separately.

ARCHITECTURAL SPECIFICATIONS

Surgical lighting system shall consist of three radial
arm mounted 25" diameter lightheads equipped
with a sterilizable pattern adjustment and
positioning handle as well as non-sterile positioning
handles. Total system output is to be 33,000 foot­candles at a color temperature of 4,000°K. The
system is to be designed with one primary bulb and
one reserve bulb. An automatic bulb change-over
system shall be provided to eliminate the need to
change bulbs during surgery. Wall Control is to
have an indicator/reset system to indicate reserve
bulb operation. Bulbs are to be 24v, 170w Halogen
type. System design is to provide cool, color­corrected light that is diffused evenly over the
surgical site for optimum shadow reduction. System
shall be SKYTRON Model NT252525.
