IMPORTANT NOTES

THE BREWING POT IS MEANT ONLY FOR PREPARING GREEK COFFEE AND FOR
BOILING WATER. DO NOT USE IT TO HEAT MILK, SOUP OR OTHER LIQUIDS.

• The appliance is for internal and household use only. Not for professional use.

• Do not immerse the appliance or the base in water or any other liquid.

• The appliance must always be switched off before you plug or unplug it. Never pull off the cable
to disconnect it from the socket. Instead, unplug by pulling the plug from the socket.

• Check if the voltage indicated on the base of the brewing pot corresponds to the local mains
voltage before you connect the appliance.

• Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning.

• Keep the cord, the base and the appliance away from hot surfaces.

• Use the brewing pot only in combination with its original base.

• Always place the base and the brewing pot on a dry, fl at and stable surface.

• Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.

• This appliance is not intended for use by children or infi rm persons without supervision.
Improper supervision can lead to serious personal injury.

• Remove the brewing pot from its base to fi ll with water.

• After using the appliance, turn it off.

• Never use the appliance if the base or the heating element are wet. If they become yet, unplug

it before trying to dry and do not operate unless they dry completely.

• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop.

• Do not use the appliance if the cord, the plug, the base or the appliance itself is damaged.

If the cord or any other part is damaged, you must contact any SINGER Service Center or
SINGER Client Service.

• Boiling water can cause serious burns. Be careful when the brewing pot contains hot water.

• Do not overfi ll the device (270ml max). If the brewing pot has been overfi lled, boiling water
may be ejected from the spout, causing scalding and short-circuit to the device.

• Even though there is a safety device to protect the brewing pot from overheating, never turn it

on without containing any water. In case this happens, the safety device will automatically stop
the operation of the appliance, which will resume after it becomes cool again.

• Do not place the brewing pot into dishwashers.

• The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present instruction manual

will automatically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the
machine or injuries to persons or animals.

• In case of manipulation, repairing or any modifi cation of the machine made by unqualifi ed

persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.

USE OF THE ELECTRICAL BREWING POT

Before using the brewing pot for the fi rst time:

1. Attach the handle to the brewing pot.

2. Clean the brewing pot before using and fi ll with water (270ml max).

3. Place the brewing pot on the base.

4. When you turn on the switch, the indicator light will turn on and the water will begin to warm up.

When water boils, set the switch to the off position.

5. After boiling the water, it is normal to constitute powder-like residue in boiled water according

to hardness degree of the water. Water causes this case and it has no effects to human health.

6. Rinse the inside of the pot with water carefully, making sure that you keep the exterior dry.

7. Do not operate your brewing pot without water.

8. If you want to boil water again, wait for 15-20 seconds before operating your appliance.

PREPARING HOT WATER

In case you need hot water for the preparation of herbal teas, instant coffee or any other hot
beverage, follow the instructions below:

- Pour water into the brewing pot according to the quantity of cups (270ml max) that you want

to prepare.

- Turn the on/off switch to the on position (light on).

- When water comes to boil, turn the on/off switch to the off position (light off).

ATTENTION

Do not boil milk, butter, whipped cream, etc., into the brewing pot. In case you put them

into boil, they will stick on the bottom of the device, making it too diffi cult to clean.

CLEANING THE BREWING POT

- Inside cleaning: Unplug the pot from power. You may use dishwashing liquid to clean the pot

if it is too dirty, making sure that you keep the exterior dry. Otherwise, just boil water into the
pot to clean it.

- Outside cleaning: Wipe the exterior surface of the pot using a soft and damp cloth with warm

water and a small quantity of a light detergent.

PREPARING GREEK COFFEE

1. Maximum four small cups of coffee can be prepared each

time (270ml max).

2. Pour water into the brewing pot according to the quantity of

cups (270ml max) that you want to prepare.

3. Add coffee and sugar into the brewing pot.

4. Place the brewing pot on the base.

5. Turn the on/οff switch to the on position (light on).

6. Stir the coffee and sugar into the brewing pot.

7. Just before coffee starts to boil, turn the on/off switch to the

off position (light off).

8. Pour coffee into the cups.

DESCALING THE BREWING POT

Although scale is harmless, too much scale can affect the performance of the brewing pot.
Follow the steps below to prolong the life of the brewing pot:

1. Fill the brewing pot with water up to two-quarters and bring water to the boil.

2. Switch off the brewing pot and then add white vinegar up to three-quarters.

3. Leave the solution in the pot overnight.

4. Empty the pot and rinse the inside thoroughly.

5. Fill the brewing pot (270ml max) with clean water and boil the water.

6. Empty the pot and rinse it with clean water again.

ATTENTION

Do not immerse the appliance or the base in water or any other liquid.
Do not place any part of the appliance in the dishwasher.

Disposal of old Electrical & Electronic Equipment (Applicable in the European Union and
other European countries with separate collection systems).

This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product shall
not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the ap­plicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.

negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could oth­erwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. The recycling

of materials will help to conserve natural resources. For more detailed informa­tion about recycling of this product, please contact your local city offi ce, your household waste
disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.

• Η συσκευή προορίζεται αποκλειστικά για οικιακή χρήση σε εσωτερικούς χώρους. Δεν

είναι κατάλληλη για επαγγελματική χρήση.

• Μη βυθίζετε τη συσκευή ή τη βάση της

σε νερό ή οποιοδήποτε άλλο υγρό.

• Η συσκευή θα πρέπει να είναι πάντοτε κλειστή πριν συνδεθεί ή αποσυνδεθεί από την
πρίζα. Ποτέ μην τραβάτε το καλώδιο για να αποσυνδέσετε από την πρίζα. Αντίθετα,

πιάστε το φις και τραβήξτε το για να αποσυνδέσετε.

• Ελέγξτε αν η τάση που αναφέρεται στη

βάση της συσκευής ανταποκρίνεται στην

τοπική τάση πριν τη συνδέσετε.

• Αποσυνδέστε τη συσκευή από την πρίζα όταν δε χρησιμοποιείται και πριν τον καθαρισμό.

Αφήστε να κρυώσει πριν την καθαρίσετε.

• Κρατήστε το καλώδιο, τη βάση και τη συσκευή μακριά από ζεστές επιφάνειες.

• Χρησιμοποιήστε το μπρίκι μόνο σε συνδυασμό

με τη βάση του.

• Να τοποθετείτε πάντα τη βάση και το μπρίκι σε στεγνή, επίπεδη και σταθερή επιφάνεια.

• Κρατήστε τη συσκευή και το καλώδιο μακριά από παιδιά.

• Η συσκευή δεν προορίζεται για χρήση από παιδιά ή άτομα μειωμένης αντίληψης χωρίς

επίβλεψη. Ελλιπής επίβλεψη ενδέχεται να οδηγήσει σε σοβαρό τραυματισμό.

• Απομακρύνετε το μπρίκι από τη βάση του προκειμένου να προσθέσετε νερό.

• Μετά τη χρήση της συσκευής, να τερματίζετε τη λειτουργίας της.

• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε ποτέ τη συσκευή αν η βάση ή η αντίσταση είναι υγρές. Αν

βραχούν, αποσυνδέστε από το ρεύμα πριν προσπαθήσετε να τις στεγνώσετε και μη
χρησιμοποιήσετε ώσπου

να στεγνώσουν πλήρως.

• Μην αφήνετε το καλώδιο να κρέμεται από την άκρη του τραπεζιού ή την επιφάνεια εργασίας.

• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή αν το καλώδιο, το φις, η βάση ή η ίδια η συσκευή
έχουν υποστεί βλάβη. Αν το καλώδιο ή κάποιο άλλο μέρος της συσκευής έχει υποστεί

βλάβη, θα

πρέπει να απευθυνθείτε σε ένα Εξουσιοδοτημένο Κατάστημα Σέρβις της

SINGER ή να επικοινωνήσετε με το Κέντρο Εξυπηρέτησης Πελατών της SINGER.

• Το βραστό νερό μπορεί να προκαλέσει σοβαρά εγκαύματα. Να δίνετε ιδιαίτερη προσοχή

όταν το μπρίκι περιέχει ζεστό νερό.

• Μην υπερχειλίζετε τη συσκευή, πέραν των 270ml. Αν έχετε παραγεμίσει το μπρίκι, το

βραστό νερό μπορεί να βγει από το στόμιο, προκαλώντας εγκαύματα και βραχυκύκλωμα
της συσκευής.

• Παρόλο που η συσκευή διαθέτει σύστημα ασφάλειας που προφυλάσσει από την

υπερθέρμανση, μη θέτετε σε λειτουργία τη συσκευή όταν είναι άδεια. Σε περίπτωση
που αυτό συμβεί, το σύστημα ασφαλείας θα διακόψει αυτόματα τη λειτουργία της
συσκευής,

η οποία θα επαναλειτουργήσει μόλις κρυώσει.

• Μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή στο πλυντήριο πιάτων.

• Η μη τήρηση αυτών των κανονισμών και υποδείξεων που περιγράφονται στο παρόν

εγχειρίδιο απαλλάσσει τη Singer από κάθε ευθύνη σε περίπτωση κακής λειτουργίας ή
πρόκλησης βλάβης σε άτομα, ζώα, κλπ.

• Η κακή χρήση ή παρέμβαση από το

χρήστη που δεν επιτρέπονται, ακυρώνουν αυτομάτως

την εγγύηση του προϊόντος.
