Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Gerät dient ausschließlich dem Erhitzen von Lebensmitteln.
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für die Benutzung in privaten Haushalten bestimmt. Benut-
zen Sie das Gerät nicht gewerblich.
Lieferumfang
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem
Karton.
2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial, sowie Folien und Aufkleber.
3) Reinigen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes wie im Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“
beschrieben.

Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter Ver-
packung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe
Kapitel Garantie und Service).
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten
ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und verringert
das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien
gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
HINWEIS
► Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit des
Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können.

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von autorisier-
tem Fachpersonal oder dem Kunden-service austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Fassen Sie Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen Händen an. Es
besteht sonst die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, ziehen
Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts mäßig installierte und gut
erreichbare Netzsteckdose an. Die Netzspannung muss mit den Angaben
auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe der Badewanne / Dusche oder
über einem mit Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken. Nähe von Wasser stellt
eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
► Das Gerät ist nur für die Verwendung in trockenen Räumen geeignet.

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Perso-
nen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt
oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.
► Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind von Gerät und der Anschlussleitung fernzu-
halten.
► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt wer-
den, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsichtigt.
► Lassen Sie das Gerät nach Gebrauch erst abkühlen, bevor Sie es transpor-
tieren.
► Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber
stolpern kann.
► Berühren Sie niemals die Kochplatten während der Benutzung, da diese
sehr heiß werden.
► Sie dürfen keine Verlängerungskabel verwenden. Die Netzsteckdose muss
im Notfall schnell zu erreichen sein.
► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fernwirksys-
tem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.

ACHTUNG - BRANDGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Es dürfen sich während des Betriebs keine leicht brennbaren Materialien in
unmittelbarer Umgebung des Gerätes befinden (z. B. Geschirrhandtuch,
Topflappen etc.).
► Wenn Sie das Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht nutzen, müssen
Sie es vom Stromnetz trennen. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist das Gerät vollständig stromfrei.
Aufstellen und Inbetriebnahme
1) Stellen sie das Gerät auf eine stabile, ebene und hitzebeständige Oberfläche.
2) Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer Netzsteckdose.
3) Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter in die Stellung
„I“ bringen.
4) Stellen Sie beide Kochplatten / auf MAX und lassen Sie diese ca. 3 Minu-
ten ohne Topf aufheizen.
Hierbei kann es zu leichter Rauchentwicklung kommen, da die aufgetragene
Schutzschicht einbrennt. Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung. Öffnen Sie zum
Beispiel ein Fenster.
5) Nach 3 Minuten schalten Sie die Kochplatten / wieder aus.
Energieeffizientes Kochen
■ Benutzen Sie Töpfe, die den gleichen Durchmesser wie die jeweilige Kochplatte
/ haben. Bei zu kleinen Töpfen, die nicht die ganze Kochplatte /
bedecken, geht sehr viel Energie verloren.
■ Achten Sie darauf, dass die Töpfe/Pfannen plan auf den Kochplatten /
aufliegen. Verbeulte oder schiefe Böden verhindern eine optimale Wärmeleitung.
■ Um Energie zu sparen, können Sie die Kochplatte / schon ausschalten,
bevor das Gericht ganz fertig gegart ist. Die Restwärme der Kochplatte /
reicht meistens aus, um das Gericht zuende zu garen.

HINWEIS
► Verwenden Sie Kochgeschirr mit flachen, geraden Böden zur besseren Wärmeleitung.
► Benutzen Sie möglichst zur Größe der Kochplatte passendes Kochgeschirr.
1) Stellen Sie den gefüllten Topf auf die gewünschte Kochplatte /.
2) Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter in die Stellung
„I“ bringen.
3) Drehen Sie das jeweilige Thermostat / auf die gewünschte Einstellung:
▯ 0: ausgeschaltet
▯
- 4: langsam kochen
▯ 4 - MAX: schnell kochen

HINWEIS
► Die Kontrolleuchte / leuchtet, solange die Kochplatte / aufheizt. Sobald
die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht ist, erlischt die Kontrolleuchte /. Während des
Betriebs kann es sein, dass die Kontrollleuchte / wieder aufleuchtet und erlischt.
Dies ist keine Fehlfunktion des Gerätes, sondern ein Zeichen dafür, dass die Kochplatte
/die Temperatur hält und nachheizt.
4) Wenn der Kochvorgang beendet ist, stellen Sie das Thermostat / wieder
auf 0. Die Kontrollleuchte / erlischt.
5) Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter auf „O“.
Wenn Sie die das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus
der Netzsteckdose.

Reinigung und Pflege
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen!
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven, chemischen oder scheuernden Putzmittel um das
Gerät zu reinigen! Diese können das Gerät beschädigen.
■ Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. Bei hartnäckigeren Ver-
schmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie anschließend alle Spülmittelreste mit einem feuchten
Tuch entfernen.
■ Warten Sie mit der erneuten Benutzung, bis das Gerät wieder vollkommen
getrocknet ist.
Aufbewahren
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort auf.

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre
kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.
Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.
Garantie und Service
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Das Gerät wurde sorgfältig produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis für den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen Sie
sich im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung. Nur so kann eine
kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.

► Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für
Transportschäden, Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen
Teilen, z. B. Schalter oder Akkus.
Das Produkt ist lediglich für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und

Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials
have been selected in accordance with their environmental friendliness and disposal
attributes, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces
the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer
needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty period so that
the appliance can be packed properly for returning in the event of a warranty claim.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be re-
placed at once by qualified technicians or our Customer Service Department.
► Never hold the appliance, power cable or power plug with wet hands.
There is the risk of receiving an electric shock.
► Do not fold or crush the power cable.
► To disconnect, always remove the power plug itself from the mains power
socket, do not pull on the power cable.
► The appliance must only be connected to a correctly installed and easily
accessible mains power socket. Ensure that the rating of the local power
supply corresponds with the details on the rating plate of the appliance.
► Do not use the appliance in the close vicinity of a bathtub/shower or a
sink filled with water. The proximity of moisture presents a danger even
when the appliance is switched off.
► The appliance is suitable for use only in dry areas.

NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been
told how to use of the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks.
► Children younger than 8 years of age must be kept away from the appli-
ance and the power cable.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless
they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
► After use, allow the appliance to cool down before transporting it.
► Route the power cable in such a way that no one can tread on or trip over it.
► Never touch the cooking plates during use as these become very hot.
► Do not use extension cables. The plug must be quickly accessible in an
emergency.
► Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control system to
operate the appliance.

CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE!
► Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used.
► When the appliance is in use ensure that there are no easily inflammable
materials close to it (e.g. dishcloths, oven cloths etc.).
► If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, you must
disconnect it from the power source. The appliance is only completely without current when the power plug has been pulled out of the socket.
Setting up and connecting
1) Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface.
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
3) Switch the appliance on by switching the On/Off switch to the position “I”.
4) Switch both hobs / to MAX and allow these to heat up for around 3 minutes without a saucepan.
This can cause slight smoke development since the protective coating which has
been applied will burn in. Ensure there is sufficient ventilation. For example, open
a window.
5) Switch off the hobs / after 3 minutes.
Energy-efficient cooking
■ Use cooking pots with the same diameter as the respective hob /. If you use
particularly small pots that do not cover the whole hob /, a great deal of
energy is simply wasted.
■ Ensure that the pots/pans rest flat on the hobs /. Dented or uneven bottoms
prevent optimum heat conduction.
■ To save energy, you can turn off the hob / before you have completely
finished cooking. The residual heat of the hob / is usually sufficient to finish
cooking the food.

NOTE
►
Use cooking utensils with flat, even bases for better thermal transfer.
► If possible, use cooking utensils which match the cooking plate sizes.
1) Place the filled saucepan on the required hob /.
2) Switch the appliance on by sliding the On/Off switch to the position “I”.
3) Turn the relevant thermostat / to the required setting:
▯ 0: switched off
▯
–4: slow cooking
▯ 4–MAX: fast cooking

NOTE
► The control lamp / remains lit while the hob / is heating up. As soon
as the selected temperature has been reached, the control lamp / goes off.
During operation, it is possible that the control lamp / switches on and off.
This is not a malfunction of the appliance, merely an indication that the hob /
is reheating occasionally to maintain the temperature.
4) Once the cooking process has finished, adjust thermostat / back to 0.
The indicator lamp / goes out.
5) Turn the On/Off switch to “O”.
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, remove the plug from
the power socket.

Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in the normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community
waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your
waste disposal centre should you be in any doubt.
Warranty and Service
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance
has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please
make contact by telephone with our Customer Service Department. Only in this way
can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
