Produkt- und Funktionsbeschreibu ng
Das Gerät ist ein Sensor zur Erfassung der Helligkeit. Das Gerät
kommuniziert über KNX. Es ist zur Montage an die Decke konzipiert. Die Inbetriebnahme der integ rierten Lichtregelung erfordert die ETS.

Der Programmiermodus kann im Auslieferzustand auch mit der
als Zubehö r erhältlic hen IR-Fernbedie nung S 255 /11
5WG1 255-7AB11 (S3 = On / S4 = Off) aktiviert bzw. deaktiviert
werden.
Programmiermodus
Durch kurzes Drücken der Programmiertaste (< 2 s) wird der
Programmiermodu s aktiviert. Dies wird durch Daue rleuchten der
Progra mmie r-LED ange zeigt . Durc h erne utes D rücken wird d er
Progra mmiermodus de aktiviert.
Werkseinstellung
Durch sehr langes Drücken der Programmiertaste (> 20 s) wird
das Gerät auf die Werksei nstellung zurückgesetzt. Dies wird
durch gleichmäßiges Blinken der Programmie r-LED mit Dauer
8 s angezeigt.
Hinweis
Durch längeres Drücken der Programmiertaste (> 5 s und < 20 s)
wird der Verbind ungstest für die Inbetriebnahme mit Desigo
gewählt. Diese r Modus ka nn du rch kurz es Drücken bee ndet
werden.
Verhalten na ch Programmierung
Das Verhalten des Gerätes nach Programmie rung mit der ET S ist
abhängig vo n der Param etrie rung. Die Beschreib ung der Fu nktionalitäten, Parameter und der Objekte bef indet sich in der Applikationsprogrammbeschreibung (APB) des Gerätes.

Product and Applications Description
The device is a presence a nd motion detector with integrated
brightness senso r. The device comm unicates via KNX. It is designed f or ceiling mount ing. The c ommis sioning o f the i ntegrated brightness c ontroller needs ETS.
Commissioning / Factory default
Factory default
The programming mode can be set in factory default status also
with the ava ilable IR remote cont rol S 255/11 5WG12 557AB11
(S3 = On / S4 = Off ).
Programming mode
A short push of learning button (< 2 s) enables the programming mode. This will be indicated by a continuous light at the
programming mode L ED. A second push disables thi s mode.
Factory settings
A very long push of the learning button (> 20 s) effects a reset
to factory settings. Thi s is indicated by c onstant f lashing f or 8
seconds.
Note
A long push of the learning button (> 5 s and < 20 s) enabled
the Connec tion Test for commissioning with Desigo. This mode
can be disabled by a short push any time.
Behavior af ter programm ing
The behavior of the device after programming with the ETS is
dependent on t he configuration . The descriptio n of the features,
parameters and objec ts is in the application program description
(APB) of the devic e.

Connect ing:
Plug wires into the bus terminal. En sure you have stripped the
insulation back!
Push the bus terminal on the plug in the device (see figu re 4)
Disconnecting:
Separate the bus te rminal from the device (use a screwdriver if
necessa ry)
Separate the wi res from the bus t erminal by turning.

Das Gerät wird mit Befestigungssch rauben in der UP - Do se befestigt. Mit den z usätzlichen Befestig ungslöchern ka nn das Gerät um 90° gedreht ei ngebaut werden.

· Haltefedern dürf en nicht m ontiert e sein!

Die Haltefedern le icht erweitern und über die Zapfen am
Gerät sc hieben.

Haltefedern zusammendrücken (siehe B ild 6) und Gerät m it den
Haltefedern voraus in die Decke nöffnung (Æ 60 – 65mm) einschiebe n.
Die Haltefedern halt en das Gerät an der Zwische ndecke.
Maximales Deckenstä rke der Zwischendecke: 30mm
Vorsicht:
· Gerät zur Demonta ge an der Stelle greifen, an der die
Montage des Designrings
(siehe Bild 7)
(max. Stärke der Zwischendecke: 30mm)

Andernfalls besteht die Gefahr, dass die Haltef edern auf

The device is secu red with fixing screws in the UP socket. The
device can be i nstalled off set by 90° with the additio nal fixing
holes.
Note:
· Fixing clamps must not be mounted!

Extend the fixing claws slightly and push over the lugs on the
device.

Press the fixing clam ps together (see figure 6) and p ush the device into the ope ning (Æ 60mm - 65 mm) wit h the fixing clamps
in front .
The fixing clam ps hold the device o n the ceiling.
Max. thickness of the suspended c eiling: 30mm
Caution:
· When unmounting the device hold it where the two

Der Designring H3 wird von unten a uf das Gerät H1 ged rückt,
bis die Schnapphaken am äußeren Rand des Gerätes mit einem
„Klacken“ einrasten.
Demontage des Designrings
Der Designring H2 ( Bild 7) wird durch Zie hen nach unten demontiert. (mindestens 2 Schnapphaken entriegeln – dies kan n
mit einem Schraube ndreher unte rstützt werden)
Vorsicht:
· Bei Handhabung de s Schraub endrehe rs besteht die Gefahr des Zerkratzens der Decke oder der De signabdeckung. Deshalb nur mit wenig Kraft arbeiten!
The design ring H3 is clipped on to t he device H1 f rom below,
until the snap loc k hooks on the d esign cover engage on the
outer edge of the de vice with an audible click.
Dismounting the de sign ring
The design ring H2 (figure 7) is di smounted by pulling downwards. Use a scre wdriver to help with t his operation.
Caution:
· Be careful when ha ndling the screwd river. T here is a risk
of scratching the ceiling o r the de sign cover. Accordingly,
be gentle while working
