Short Cord Instruc tions:
01. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from be coming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
02. Longer extension cords are available and may be use d if care is exercised in their use.
03. If a longer extension cord is used :
a. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord sho uld be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
b. The longer cord should be arranged s o that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled by
children or tripped over unintentionally.
Grounded Instructions:
This appliance is equipped with a p ower cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The appliance must be grounded using
a 3-hole properl y grounded outlet. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric al shock.
If using an extension cord, the extension cord must be a grounded 3 -wire cord.
Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the third ( ground) prong from the power cord.
