Outline of REACH
What is REACH Regulation
REACH is a new EU Regulation on chemicals and their safe use
uthorization, and Restriction of
(A regulation dealing with Registration, Evaluation, Authorization
and Restriction of Chemicals)
of registration/hazardous
evaluation on 30,000 substances that are
manufactured in EU or imported to EU.
We cannot use substances of very high concern on
bad effect of human and environmental without
Authorization. Some substances of very high
concern are restricted on some uses.
To put REACH Simply,
.
Data submission is required, for a chemical substance
which will be used, and also which has been used.

Outline of REACH
Calculation methodology of SVHC in articles
- Calculate annual amount in manufacturer/importer basis
-
Not type of article basis
- Only the article whose SVHC exceeds 0.1% in concentration
SVHC A
Printer: 10,000unit/year, mass2.0kg
Concentration of SVHC A 0.05% -> No addition to amount
PC: 30,000unit/year, mass5kg
