• IG-CH2E decomposes and removes the bacteria attached

to the helmet with the Plasmacluster Ion and controls the generation of odor, however, cannot remove the odor sinking into the helmet.

• IG-CH2E cannot create a completely sterile environment.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read instructions carefully before using this unit as below. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be

followed, including the following:

WARNING - To reduce the risk of electric shock, ﬁ re or injury :

• Use 220-240 volt outlet.

• Be sure to use the included AC adapter.

• Insert the AC adapter into the end of outlet surely.

• When you carry out the maintenance, be sure to pull out the AC adapter from the outlet.

• Periodically remove dust from the plug.

• When it thunders, stop the operation and pull out the AC adapter from the outlet.

• If a defect is generated (if you smell something burning), stop the operation and pull out

the AC adapter from the outlet.

• DO NOT damage the cord. DO NOT process, forcibly bend, pull, or twist the cord. DO NOT place a heavy load on it or clip it.

• DO NOT remove the plug when your hands are wet.

• Many loads on the outlet is prohibited.

• DO NOT use the unit if the power cord or plug is damaged, or the connection to the wall

outlet is loosened.

• When you pull out the AC adapter and the plug for connecting the main unit, do not pull

the cord.

• When you carry the product, do not drop it or apply a shock to it.

• DO NOT drop drinkable water, cigarette ash, metals, or ﬂ ammable item in the product

from air outlet or suction port.

• DO NOT operate when using aerosol insecticides or in rooms where there is oily residue,

incense, sparksfrom lit cigarettes, chemical fumes in the air, or in locations where the unit may get wet, such as a bathroom.

• Only a Sharp Authorized Service Center should service this Plasmacluster Ion Generator.

Contact the nearest Service Center for any problems, adjustments, or repairs.

• DO NOT use the unit near or on hot objects, such as stoves or heaters or where it may

come into contact with steam.

• Remove the drops of water when helmet is rained.

• DO NOT use the product at the place where the water is poured or the humidity level is

high.

• DO NOT use the product at the place where is subjected to direct sunlight.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• DO NOT use the unit near gas appliances or ﬁ replaces.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

CAUTIONS CONCERNING OPERATION:

• Do not ride the main unit and do not sit on or lean it, it may cause injury or malfunction.

• DO NOT block the air intake and/or air outlet.

• DO NOT use the unit near or on hot objects, such as stoves or heaters or where it may

come into contact with steam.

• Be cautious when cleaning the unit.

Strong corrosive cleansers may damage the exterior.

• Do not use items of silicone-containing products* near the unit.

The ﬂ uororesin or silicone could get stuck inside the unit, preventing it from producing

plasmacluster ions.

If this happens, remove dust from the needle electrode of the Plasmacluster Ion

Generating Unit. (See E-10)

* Hair care products (split end coatings, hair mousses, hair treatments, etc.), cosmetics,

antiperspirants, antistatic agents, waterproofing sprays, polishes, glass cleaners, chemicalimpregnated clothes, wax, etc.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:

• Avoid using in locations where the unit is exposed to condensation or drastic

temperature changes. Appropriate room temperature is between 0-40ºC.

• Avoid locations where grease or oily smoke is generated, otherwise the main unit

surface may crack as a result.

INSTALLATION GUIDANCE

Connection of AC adapter and installation of main unit

Insert the DC plug of AC

adapter in the DC jack of the main unit.

Insert the AC plug of AC adapter in the outlet.

Place the main unit at the level place in the room.

Precautions on installation

• Be sure to place the product at the stable place.

• Do not block the suction port and the air outlet.

• If this Plasmacluster Ion Generator may cause interference to radio or television

reception, try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

• Increase the distance between the product and radio/TV receiver.

• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the

receiver is connected.

• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

HOW TO SET A HELMET

• Be sure to turn up the shield to have circulation of air.

• Remove the drops of water when helmet is rained.

Press the ON/OFF button to turn on.

If you press the ON/OFF button, the OPERATION light (blue) lights up and the operation is started.

In order to obtain the effect of Plasmacluster ion, operate the product for 8 hours* or more.

* Varies depending on the condition of the helmet. If you cannot feel the effect after the

product is operated for 8 hours or more, operate it continuously.

ON/OFF button

Press the ON/OFF button to turn off.

If you press the ON/OFF button, the OPERATION light (blue) goes out and the operation is stopped.

If the odor cannot be removed sufﬁ ciently after the product is operated for 8 hours or more, the helmet may absorb the odor. Use IG-CH2E after removing the absorbed odor by cleaning service. Then, newly attached bacteria is removed and the odor is not generated easily.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

At the cleaning or maintenance, stop the operation and pull out the plug of AC adapter for connecting the main unit.

CABINET

Every month or more often if necessary

Wipe off the taint with a soft cloth.

Wipe it off with a cloth wrung out

of kitchen synthetic detergent. Then, wipe off the cleaning substance completely.

GRILL

Every week or more often if necessary

Vacuum the dust with a vacuum cleaner.

FILTER

Even if the FILTER CLEAN light (orange) does not light, it is recommended to carry out the cleaning once a week.

Remove the ﬁ lter.

The filter is attached to the rear side of the main unit. Clip the tabs on both sides of the ﬁ lter and pull it out.

Gently vacuum the dust attached to the ﬁ lter with a vacuum cleaner.

Do not press the ﬁ lter forcibly with a vacuum cleaner. Otherwise, it is damaged.

Remove and rinse in water. (Use a soft sponge if the dirt does not come off easily.) And dry it at the sun shadow place.

Set the ﬁ lter on the main unit.

Insert the ﬁ lter until the stopper of tab is inserted into the main unit surely.

Do not operate the product while the ﬁ lter is removed. The dust comes in the main unit and it may cause a failure.

Press the ON/OFF button

for 3 seconds.

The FILTER CLEAN light flashes twice and go off. Even if the FILTER CLEAN light is off, press ON/OFF button for 3 seconds after

cleaning.

Even if the OPERATION light (blue) does not ﬂ ash, it is recommended to carry out the cleaning once every 6 months.

Remove the louver.

Hold the main unit with a hand and then pull out the louver.

Clean up the needle electrode of the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit.

Remove the dust from the needle electrode with using the cleaning brush.

If the OPERATION light ﬂ ashes immediately again even if cleaning up the needle electrode, the dust may be left, clean up the needle electrode repeatedly. If the OPERATION light is still ﬂ ashing, the exchange of Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit may be needed. Please contact Sharp Authorized Service Center.

Clean up the ion sensor.

If the dust is attached to the surface of the ion sensor, wipe it off with a soft and dry cloth.

• Do not press the ion sensor strongly.

Do not use cleaning substance or water.

Attach the cleaning brush to the pin of the cabinet.

Hold the main unit with a hand and attach the louver to the cabinet.

Do not operate the product while the louver is removed. The strip of the helmet or other item touches the electrode of the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit or the surface of the sensor and it may cause a failure.

• Walaupun IG-CH2E boleh menguraikan dan menghapuskan

ARAHAN PENTING KESELAMATAN

Sila baca arahan di bawah dengan teliti sebelum menggunakan unit ini. Apabila menggunakan alat elektrik, langkah-langkah keselamatan asas

perlu dipatuhi, termasuk yang berikut:

AMARAN - Untuk mengurangkan risiko kejutan elektrik, kebakaran atau kecederaan :

• Gunakan saluran 220-240 volt sahaja.

• Pastikan agar menggunakan penyesuai AC yang direka khas untuk unit ini.

• Masukkan penyesuai AC ke dalam hujung saluran keluar sepenuhnya.

• Apabila menjalankan penyelenggaraan, pastikan untuk mencabut penyesuai AC dari

saluran keluar.

• Cuci habuk dari palam secara berkala.

• Apabila berlaku petir, hentikan operasi dan cabut penyesuai AC dari saluran keluar.

• Sekiranya kerosakan berlaku (jika anda bau sesuatu terbakar), hentikan operasi dan

cabut penyesuai AC dari saluran keluar.

• JANGAN merosakkan korda. JANGAN memproses, membengkokkan secara paksa, menarik atau memintal korda. JANGAN meletakkan beban berat padanya atau

mengklipnya.

• JANGAN mencabut palam apabila tangan anda basah.

• Dilarang mengenakan beban yang banyak pada saluran keluar.

• JANGAN menggunakan unit jika korda kuasa atau palam rosak, atau sambungan ke

saluran keluar dinding telah longgar.

• Apabila anda mencabut penyesuai AC dan palam dari sambungan unit utama, jangan

tarik korda.

• Apabila membawa produk, jangan menjatuhkannya atau menyebabkan ia terhentak.

• JANGAN tumpahkan air yang boleh diminum, abu rokok, bahan berlogam, atau bahan

mudah terbakar ke dalam produk melalui saluran keluar udara atau liang sedut udara.

•

JANGAN mengendalikannya apabila menggunakan racun serangga aerosol atau di dalam

bilik di mana terdapat sisa berminyak, dupa, percikan daripada nyalaan rokok, wasap kimia dalam udara, atau di lokasi di mana unit boleh menjadi basah, seperti bilik mandi.

PERINGATAN BERKENAAN OPERASI:

• Jangan menunggang unit utama dan jangan duduk di atas atau bersandar padanya

kerana ia boleh menyebabkan kecederaan atau tidak dapat berfungsi dengan baik.

• JANGAN halang pengaliran udara dan/atau saluran keluar udara.

• JANGAN menggunakan unit berhampiran atau di atas objek panas, seperti dapur atau

pemanas atau di mana dalam keadaan berwap.

• Berhati-hati apabila mencuci unit. Pencuci kakisan kuat boleh merosakkan bahagian

luaran.

• Jangan guna produk mengandungi silikon* berdekatan dengan unit. Fluororesin atau

silikon boleh tersekat di dalam unit, dan menghalangnya daripada mengeluarkan

ion plasmacluster. Jika ini berlaku, memadam debu dari bahagian elektrod dari Unit Penjanaan Ion Plasmacluster. (Lihat M-10)

Untuk mendapatkan kesan ion Plasmacluster, biarkan produk beroperasi selama 8 jam* atau lebih.

* Berbeza bergantung pada keadaan topi keledar. Sekiranya anda tidak dapat

merasakan kesan selepas produk beroperasi selama 8 jam, biarkan ia beroperasi tanpa henti.

Tekan butang HIDUP/MATI untuk mematikannya.

Sekiranya anda menekan butang HIDUP/MATI, lampu OPERASI (biru) akan terpadam dan operasi dihentikan.

Sekiranya bau tidak dapat dihilangkan sepenuhnya setelah produk beroperasi selama 8 jam atau lebih, topi keledar boleh menyerap bau. Gunakan IG-CH2E selepas membuang bau yang diserap oleh kerja pencucian. Kemudian, bakteria yang baru terkumpul akan disingkirkan dan bau tidak akan dihasilkan dengan mudah.

PEMBERSIHAN DAN PENYELENGGARAAN

Selepas pencucian atau penyelenggaraan, hentikan operasi dan cabut palam penyesuai AC untuk sambungan unit utama.

Lapkannya menggunakan kain yang diperah daripada detergen sintetik dapur.

Meskipun lampu BERSIH PENAPIS (jingga) tidak menyala, adalah dicadangkan untuk menjalankan kerja pencucian sekali seminggu.

Penapis dilekatkan pada bahagian belakang unit utama. Klipkan tab pada kedua-dua bahagian penapis dan tariknya keluar.

Jangan biarkan produk beroperasi sewaktu penapis ditanggalkan. Habuk akan masuk ke dalam unit utama dan ia boleh menyebabkan kerosakan.

Walaupun lampu OPERASI (biru) tidak berkilap, adalah dicadangkan untuk menjalankan kerja pencucian sekali setiap 6 bulan.

Tanggalkan ram.

Pegang unit utama menggunakan tangan dan kemudian tarik keluar ram.

Tanggalkan berus pencuci yang disambungkan ke unit utama.

Sekiranya lampu OPERASI masih berkilap, anda perlu menukar Unit Penjanaan Ion Plasmacluster dengan yang baru. Sila hubungi Pusat Servis Sharp yang Sah.

Bersihkan sensor ion.

Sekiranya habuk melekat di permukaan sensor ion, lapkannya menggunakan kain lembut dan kering.

• Jangan tekan sensor ion dengan kuat.

• Jangan gunakan bahan pencuci atau air.
