Setting the AC voltage selector
Check the setting of the
AC
voltage selector
located an the rear panel before plug-
ging the
unit
into a wall so&et. If necessary, adjust the selector to correspond to the
AC power voltage used I” your area.
Turn the selector with a screwdriver until the appropriate voltage num­ber appears in the window (110 V, 127 V, 220 V or 230 V - 240 V AC).

After making all connections, plug the unit. If you plug the unit first, the unit will enter the demonstration mode.

Caution on Disassembly
Follow the below-mentioned notes when disassembling the unit and reassembling it, to keep it safe and ensure excellent performance:
1.
Take cassette tape and compact disc out of the unit.
2. Be sure to remove the power supply plug from the wall outlet before starting to disassemble the unit.
3. Take off nylon bands or wire holders where they need to
be removed when disassembling the unit. After servicing the unit, be sure to rearrange the leads where they were before disassembling.
4. Take sufficient care on static electricity of integrated circuits and other circuits when servicing.

Adjustment
Since this CD system incorporates the following automatic adjustment functions, readjustment is not needed when replacing the pickup. Therefore, different
PWBs
and pickups can be combined freely. Each time a disc is changed, these adjustments are performed automatically. Therefore, playback of each disc can be performed under optimum conditions.
