This auto fill retro fit kit uses the Walrus auto fill lever which is
black plastic and is more aesthetically pleasing than the ex­isting stainless steel levers when used in combination with
the A-35 auto fill valves.

NOTE: This kit will not work on valves ordered prior to

1/99. Use the date on the tag to verify the age.

The auto fill lever retro fit kit (P/N RF A-35) will be used to
replace the stainless steel auto fill lever (P/N 516-08) on the
Flomatic 424-A30,454-A30 and 464-A30 valves.

INSTALLATION

In order to install this assembly remove the valve from the
mounting block:

1. Remove the lever retaining clip with the ground wire
(See Figure 2).

2. The ground wire will be used in the installation of
the new lever.

3. Cut the connector off of the new lever (#51610) as
close to the connector as possible.

4. Route the leads of the new lever between the ori­fice caps as shown (See Figure 3).

5. Splice the two leads together and connect them to
the ground wire using the butt connector (#1000901)
as Shown (See Figure 4).

6. Plug the ground lead back into the valve solenoid
and attach the new lever retaining clip (#51704).

7. Replace the valve on the mounting block.
